Platinum Jubilee the Aldona Association completes 75 glorious years in 2014 another milestone in the history of an
Association that has touched the lives of Aldonkars since its inception in 1939!
Platinum Jubilee Celebrations in Mumbai on Sunday, December 7, 2014 in the evening with a Thanksgiving Mass at
Sacred Heart Church, SantaCruz (West) and a jamboree of camaraderie and revelry thereafter at the Willingdon Catholic
Gymkhana Lawns, SantaCruz (West) in Goa during May 2015. The details for both celebrations will be published in our
annual newsletter hereafter an early intimation to block your diary as also notify members who are resident abroad to
plan their India holidays accordingly!
Platinum Jubilee Endowment Funds Drive Aldonkars are renowned for their philanthropy the portfolio of endowment
funds towards awards to students for excellence in academic studies and music as also financial aid towards education and
medication for underprivileged students; reveal the spirit that animates Aldonkars. We seek additional endowment funds
towards the same we also seek endowment funds towards awards to students for excellence in sports as also welfare
projects for Aldonkars resident in Goa!
Platinum Jubilee General Fund a commemorative souvenir with advertisements shall be published towards this fund!
Platinum Jubilee Appeal we seek advertisements, contributions, donations and sponsorships towards our celebrations,
endowment funds and general fund, to augment the corpus of the Aldona Association which today stands at approximately
Rs. 54 lakhs... we have set ourselves a modest target of Rs. 20 lacs and seek your unstinted collaboration to attain this
goal... a humble appeal to all members to contribute generously as also explore other avenues the details and requisite
forms are attached herewith as also provided at our website www.aldonaassociation.com!
Platinum Jubilee Committee we plan to constitute a Sub-Committee to manage all aspects of the celebrations in
collaboration with the Managing Committee of the Aldona Association. We are happy to announce that Mr. Joachim
Carvalho is happy to lead the Platinum Jubilee Committee as the Convener. He has initiated plans herein to mobilise
contributions, donations and sponsorships towards our celebrations, endowment funds and general fund. We need to grow
the team and urge members to proffer their services towards the success of our celebrations. Please complete and email the
requisite form at the earliest!
Platinum Jubilee Membership Drive... the three categories of members are Life Member @ Rs. 3,000/-, Patron Member @
Rs. 4,000/- and Associate Member @ Rs. 5,000/-... an appeal to Members to inspire eligible relatives and acquaintances to
enrol as Members... membership forms are provided at our website www.aldonaassociation.com!
Life Members... an incentive to upgrade to Patron Member on payment of the differential amount!
Daughters of Aldona married outside Aldona... a warm welcome to enrol as Associate Member!
Life, Patron and Associate Members... you along with your spouse and children below 18 years of age would enjoy a
nominal charge for the annual celebrations and excursions in Mumbai and Goa!
