everyday, and especially on all beach/park days. The kids will be leaving by 9:10 and returning by 3:00 pm.
Washington Administrative Code insists that either all children have freezer packs in their lunch or we must carry portable coolers on
our fieldtrips. We are asking for your support. Please make sure that your child has a freezer pack in their lunch. A frozen water
bottle works great. Thanks for your help.

Breakfast is an important meal. We serve a breakfast snack at Kids Inc. and it
is only for those early morning campers. The children run and play hard. They
need the energy to make it to lunch. Please make sure your child eats a healthy
breakfast at home before coming to camp! Thank you for your cooperation.
Science Week
The Deep Fried Waffles
(3rd -5th Grades)

Who said physics is boring? During Science Week, the
Deep Fried Waffles will explore the concepts of force and grav-
ity with an element of exciting activities. How do planes fly?
How much weight can matchsticks and superglue platform
hold? What makes a kickball go so far? These and othere
questions will be on our minds as we build, launch and propel
our understanding of the physical world. And to answer per-
haps the most important question of all...How do you stop a
falling egg from breaking and how do you clean it up when it
does break (okay thats two questions)?? Geronimoooo!!!

Science Week
The Stinky Skunks
(Ks, 1st, 2nd )

Welcome to Science Week at Kids Inc! Join the Stinky
Skunks as we unearth ancient fossils, construct volcanoes, and
perform bizarre experiments on unwitting eggs. The field trip to
Magnuson Park will give us a chance to get our hands dirty as
we look for wildlife and check out the famous sound sculpture
on the NOAA campus. At the Burke Museum we'll be able to
observe the wonders of Earth's past as our focus shifts to natural
history. So whether you'd like to become messy with home-
made volcanoes or if bird watching is more your style, come
spend the week with Kids Inc!
