Welcome Lines for PTA Federation

To our Dear visitors; _____________________, _________________,
_________________, teachers, and students! Greetings of Peace!

Parents and teachers, are two words which are considered important in running
an academe. A school cannot exist in the absence of students but most importantly, a
school cannot survive in the absence of parents; for reason that parents are the ones
sending their siblings to the school for it to deliver QUALITY EDUCATION.
June 2, 2014 marked the formal welcoming of Sogod National High School to
more than 2600 students enrolled for the SY: 2014-2015. It means that another school
year comes to a closer perspective, signaling the start of a new chapter of endeavor
among students. But, the great number of enrollees whom the school caters to serve
best right now is traceable to the kindness of every parent. Thus, in particular, the
school is very grateful to all the parents who have put their thrust in Sogod National
High School for the transfer of quality learning to their children. But since the SY: 2014-
2015 is right at its birthing stage, SNHS can claim the right to be ruled by just and
capable Parent leaders who precisely because of genuine support can pledge a good
link and better foster sincere YES to all the Programs and Projects (PAPs) of the
school. The same wishes and hopes are aimed for by all the schools in the Division of
Southern Leyte.
Meriam-Webster Dictionary defines PTA as a powerful organization of teachers
and parents who work for a common goal---that is for the good of the students in the
school. Precisely, this is the reason why we are all here---our coming together is guided
by the principle of service to the students in the school as conduits the advent of
technology. The opportunity that binds together all of us here today signifies the
aversion of a common goal that we aim for---that is to be able to support our school for
the good of the students. And that, in the process of selecting the President of the PTA
Federation, may we all be guided by the principle of service for the good of the school
and the students. For a very practical reason, having been chosen as officers of PTA
Federation would boost up everyone as an honoree on the place he/she is presently
entangled with. Receive and enjoy the greater and wider opportunity for growth and
acceptance of ones position and aspiration in order to serve; and be open in
discovering your vocation to serve the PTA-Federation of Southern Leyte at a close
range.
The entire division of Southern Leyte in the DepEd family of the country is not a
stranger to the transformation of Parents leadership. More than ever, and more
particularly, the division recognizes your role in the province and the entire DepEd
family. And, so as the Principal of Sogod NHS, I am investing heavily on you and putting
my hopes in each one of you for and in behalf of my 79 faculty and 14 staff. I welcome
you all to Sogod National High School.
