Taylor Swift Announces 2013 RED Tour



NASHVILLE, Tenn., October 27, 2012- Tonight Taylor Swift announced the launch of
her 2013 North American Red Tour in support of her smash new album Red. The
announcement was made during a partnership with ABC News on tonights
primetime TV special All Access Nashville with Katie Couric- A Special Edition of
20/20. Red was released earlier this week and has already sold over 1 million
copies.

The 2013 RED Tour is going to feature 58 shows in 45 cities in 29 states and 2
provinces. The tour will begin in Omaha, Nebraska on March 13
th
, and continue on
until its last stop in Nashville, Tennessee in September. Singer/songwriter Ed
Sheeran will open all the shows on this tour.

I was really excited for the release of my new album. But now that its out I
couldnt be more excited about the RED Tour, and putting a brand new show
together, says Taylor. I have so many ideas for the show and really making it all
worthwhile for my fans. Because at the end of the day I am here because of them, so
I want to give them a show that will truly amaze and entertain them in all ways
possible.

Taylors RED Tour is geared to be one of the most-anticipated tours and musical
events of 2013. Her live shows are known for bringing her music to life in a way that
in a way that is truly unimaginable. Through her show fans are able to truly see into
her musical and artistic abilities as well as her personality as they reveal themselves
onstage. She also will be partnering up with AEG Live for the Red tour.
