Devote Yourselves To Prayer - Colossians 4.2

 Pray for our children as they head back for a new school year, and that they would be ready to
learn. Ask for the Lord’s protection over their minds that they would be able to discern truth from
error. Pray for our parents that they would be actively teaching them God’s ways to counteract
secular influence  Seek God’s direction for organizing the next courses and instructor for
Theologica.  Uphold before the Lord those who are at Cornerstone that are faithfully involved
with ministry, so that they may be encouraged and strengthened for the Lord’s glory.  Continue
to lay before the Lord the plans that we have been praying about for our future growth, that the
Lord would lead the steps of all involved.  Pray for our own walk with the Lord that He might be
glorified in all things.  Pray for the sick that are among us and for those that we know.

MINISTRY ANNOUNCEMENTS & OPPORTUNITIES

Growth Group - our next meeting will be September 19th. Please come and
join us for fellowship and a time in God’s Word. If you are interested please

C3’s 3rd anniversary - will be celebrated September 27th.
The dinner will at Judy’s in conjunction with our Agape Dinner and Mr. & Mrs.
Mark Winter’s visit with us.
The Annual PACE Conference - will be held
October 22-24 in Surrey. The theme is ‘The Christian Life In The Grace Of God’ and keynote
speakers include Rob Godard, and authors Jerry Bridges, John Crotts, and Don Whitney.
