odmeovacieho systmu.
Vposlednch rokoch zaznamenvame na slovenskom trhu prce stle vraznej boj otch
sprvnych zamestnancov. Pracovn trh sa stva stle konkurennejm. Zrove nm aj
zamestnanci psobiaci vrznych sektoroch ana rznych pozcich potvrdili, e zaujmav
platov ohodnotenie inej spolonosti je tm najastejm dvodom zmeny sasnho
zamestnania. Na druhej strane sme asto svedkami tzv. preplcania zamestnancov, o sce
krtkodobo riei pokrytie potrieb spolonosti, ale vkonenom dsledku me pokazi trh
aumelo navi cenu prce vniektorej oblasti i regine.
Prehad platov sme realizovali vdruhom kvartli roka 2014 adaje sme analyzovali sohadom
na regionlne pokrytie vkombincii so pecifkami jednotlivch pozci. Pri spracovan prieskumu
sme vychdzali z viacerch zdrojov dt, ato: z relnych platovch ohodnoten uchdzaov, ktor
preli uns osobnm pohovorom od zaiatku roka 2013 (viac ako 12000 uchdzaov); alej
z vky nstupnch platov nami umiestnench uchdzaov za dan obdobie avneposlednom
rade z platovch oakvan zujemcov oprcu.
Verme, e n aktulny prehad platov vm pome zorientova sa vproblematike platovej politiky
astane sa uitonou pomckou pri nastavovan stratgie odmeovania vo vaej spolonosti.

In your career, you have certainly come across anumber of salary surveys which are necessary to better set up areasonable yet competitive
remuneration system.
Over the last few years, we have been witnessing ever more competitive fght for the right employees on the Slovak job market. The job market
is becoming more and more competitive. At the same time, employees from various sectors and various positions have confrmed to us that amore
interesting remuneration in another company is the most frequent reason to change jobs. On the other hand, we often witness what is termed
overpayment of employees, which does resolve acompanys needs temporarily. In the long term, though, this approach may damage the market
and artifcially infate cost of labor in an area or aregion.
The salary overview was conducted in the second quarter of 2014 and the data has been analyzed with respect to regional coverage in
combination with specifcations of individual positions. When processing the survey data, we used several data sources, namely: real remuneration
fgures of those who had been personally interviewed at our company from the beginning of 2013 (over 12.000 applicants), then the actual
remuneration fgures of applicants placed through our company in the given period and fnally, the remuneration expectations of job applicants.
We believe that our current salary overview will help you get abetter understanding of remuneration policy and will become auseful tool when
setting up remuneration strategy in your own company.

dopytu po uchdzaoch. zko pecializovan oblas, akou je sektor IT atelekomunikci, zaznamenva potrebu rchlej reakcie na poia-
davky zamestnvateov.
Vsektore IT atelekomunikci vsasnosti evidujeme najv dopyt po vvojrskych aprogramtorskch pozcich sdrazom na tradi-
n technolgie Java a.NET, ale aj sksenosti sC++, SQL, Csharp, Oracle aSAP.
Z pohadu regionlnej diverzifkcie sa reginy ilina aTrenn zameriavaj na dopyt po sprve IT zariaden, spravovan siet, PLC progra-
movan vo vrobnch zvodoch aIT shopfoor koordincii. Zaujmavosou je ito, e technick pozcie vyaduj od uchdzaov minimlne

Pracovn prleitosti vsegmente IT atelekomunikci otvraj pracovn monosti mladm absolventom, ktor sa chc uplatni voblasti
vvoja, testovania aanalz. Najiadanejm cudzm jazykom je anglitina, avak dopyt rastie ipo nemeckom jazyku.
Vuplynulom roku sme zaznamenali vsektore IT atelekomunikci nrast platov vrozmedz 4 7% aza zmienku stoj iproblematika fuk-
tucie zamestnancov, ktor sa vrmci reginov Bratislava aTrnava pohybuje na rovni 8%.
Vplyvom neustleho rastu zkaziek na Slovensku sa vnasledujcom obdob oakva pretrvvajci dopyt po konzultantskch pozcich,
ako iIT pozcich sptch sbiznis analzami.
The greatest demand in the IT and Telecommunications sector is currently for people to fll developing and programming positions, requesting
traditional technologies as Java a.NET, though also requiring experience with C++, SQL, Csharp, Oracle and SAP.
Regarding regional diversifcation, Trenn and ilina region demands are focused on IT devices management, network management, PLC
programming in production plants and IT shopfoor coordination. Technical positions prescribe at least three years experience. IT Business
analytical or consultation positions demand two years experience, even for junior positions.
Vacancies in IT and Telco segment ofer chances to fresh graduates who want to start their career in the area of development, testing or
analyses. The foreign language of choice is English, though preferences for German have risen slightly.
Salaries increased by 4 7% in the last year and fuctuation numbers for Bratislava and Trnava region were around 8%.
Due to continual rise of contract work in the area, steady demand for consultant as well as IT positions connected with business analyses
is expected.

The segment of manufacturing and engineering is largely represented by areas as automobile sector, engineering and electrotechnical
industry, located mainly in the areas of Bratislava, Trnava, Trenn, ilina and Koice. Regional diferences between Bratislava and Koice
tend to disappear when it comes to management and production management. Eastern Slovakia is currently experiencing an increase in the
automobile sector, engineering and R&D, all of which encourages development of existing companies and arrival of new investors.
The demanding and highly-specialized segment of production is currently most often looking for quality engineer, logistics specialist, design
engineer, processing engineer, sourcing manager, logistics supervisor, purchase manager, logistics manager, production operator, assembly worker,
shift supervisor or buyer. The engineering positions require two to fve years experience, leading positions expect 5+ years of experience.
This sector ofers chances to young graduates as well, on lower positions, together with opportunities of further education and career
development. Employers tend to require knowledge of English or German or their combination. Fluctuation in the sector is around 5 %,
mostly in the area of quality in manufacturing companies.
Wages policy has been constant; some positions have experienced an increase due to infation. Demand for quality, logistics and purchase
specialists is expected to continue in the near future, as well as for specialists for company processes, technologists for plastic production,
quality engineers and project managers.

nie tohto sektora, ato predovetkm vrmci bankovho poradenstva najm pri pozcich biznis analytikov akonzultantov. Celkovo vak
masvnejie oivenie tejto oblasti pracovnho trhu oakvame a vpriebehu roka 2015.
Pracovn trh vsegmente fnannch sluieb nezaznamenva vrazn vkyvy, vo vekej miere je sstreden vBratislavskom kraji. Fluk-
tucia zamestnancov vtomto segmente je relatvne nzka, pretoe existuje relna obava ud hada si nov zamestnanie vo vysoko kon-
kurennom prostred. Spolonosti skr nahrdzaj existujce pozcie (replacement), avak nevytvraj nov. Medzi najiadanejie pozcie

The introduction of the special bank tax in 2012 meant stagnation in job opportunity growth in the banking sector. A slight revival is
expected this year, especially concerning positions of business analysts and consultants. Amore notable revival is only expected in 2015,
though.
The fnancial services area has not experienced marked changes. It is concentrated especially in Bratislava region and fuctuation is relatively
low as this is ahighly-competitive area. Companies have atendency to replace existing positions, not to create new ones. Currently, employers
are most often looking for liability/receivables accountants, corporate bankers, wages bookkeepers or fnancial managers. Aminimum of two
years experience is requested, together with the knowledge of English or German language. It is expected that companies will take on more
people to fll positions in clearing centers, especially team managers.

Vrmci prognz sa predpoklad, e najdynamickejm segmentom bude maloobchod, nakoko sa oakva realizcia mnohch retailovch
projektov vBratislave. Zo strany technologickch avrobnch spolonost sa oakva zven dopyt, nakoko sa vrmci konkurennho
prostredia nezaobdu bez kvalitnch zamestnancov obchodnho zamerania.
Though there are numerous companies from various areas (engineering, automotive, FMCG, technologies etc.), no marked change in demand
to fll positions in sales and marketing has been noticed. However, as new projects emerge in Bratislava, ilina, Trenn, Povask Bystrica or
Martin, there has been arevival in retail. Most frequently flled positions have been sales manager on various levels as well as KAM manager
and transregional sales manager for Slovakia, reaching out to neighboring countries. Agreat demand persists for sales representatives in
manufacture and construction. Employers typically require active English.
Remuneration conditions have not changed much, though a trend of lowering fxum and stressing higher variable depending on each
persons performance has continued.
Fluctuation in this sector is high, with an employee staying typically only for one to two years, in Trenn and ilina region two to three
years. Higher positions sufer from less fuctuation, as is true also for retail.
It is estimated that retail will be the most dynamic in the near future, as anumber of retail projects are under way in Bratislava.

Medzi najiadanejie pozcie v rmci segmentu udskch zdrojov patria Recruiter a HR Business Partner. Pri obsadzovanch pozcich
sa vyaduje 2 5-ron prax, na pozcich business partnerov amanarskych pozcich sa poaduje viac ako 5-ron prax. Na zklade
sksenost vuplynulom obdob plat, e vtomto segmente prevlda medzi uchdzami vek konkurencia. Napriek tomu si vsegmente
udskch zdrojov njdu uplatnenie aj erstv absolventi, ato najm formou absolventskch st alebo rznych programov, stle je vak
tchto alternatv menej ako v segmente fnannch sluieb. Zo strany zamestnvateov prevlda zujem o anglick jazyk a niektor
spolonosti, ktor zastreuj sluby udskch zdrojov pre in krajiny, vyaduj aj in jazykov kombincie. Fluktucia je porovnaten
sostatnmi sektormi. Vuplynulom roku sme vsektore udskch zdrojov nezaznamenali zsadn platov zmeny.
Vzhadom na aktulnu politiku spolonost centralizova svoje HR sluby na Slovensko vo forme HR shared service centier oakvame
vie poiadavky na jazykov vybavenos uchdzaov na pozcie HR pecialistov. Prognzy predpokladaj viac novch pozci pre senior
pecialistov, na zklade oho sa naskytne monos proflova sa aj pre menej sksench zamestnancov avyvja sa vkonkrtnej oblasti
segmentu udskch zdrojov, ako naprklad nbor alebo vzdelvanie.
Anew generation of managers has started to take over in the segment of human resources, which is ascribed to accumulated experience
and competencies. More and more Slovaks have transregional experience within HR as companies invest more into their further education
to strengthen their HR teams.
The most frequently sought-after positions within the HR sector are Recruiter and HR Business Partner. The candidates need two-fve-
year experience, for some positions over fve years. Recent experience reveals that the sector is highly competitive. However, even fresh
graduates can fnd work in the area, especially through various graduate programs companies ofer. Majority of employers require English,
though some, which cover HR services for other countries, request other languages. Fluctuation here is comparable with other sectors.
Due to current policy of companies to centralize their HR services in Slovakia in form of HR Shared Service Centers, it is expected that
candidates will face increased demands regarding foreign language competencies.

Centr zdieanch sluieb (SSC) s pecifckm trhom, ktor sa neustle vyvja. Oproti obdobiu pred rokom 2012 sme za posledn obdobie nezazname-
nali a tak masvny nrast zamestnancov vtejto oblasti. Za poslednch 12 mesiacov sme evidovali pribline 10% nrast zamestnancov. Mnostvo u
existujcich centier potvrdilo svoju pozciu vrmci korporcie avdsledku toho na Slovensko neustle prichdzaj alie aalie pozcie srznym zame-
ranm. Okrem tradinch fnannch centier azkaznckej i IT podpory s to alie oblasti podporujce biznis z Bratislavy (udsk zdroje, nkup, obchod,
marketing i rzne druhy analz a kontrolingovch funkci). Vo veobecnosti plat, e centr lokalizovan na Slovensku sa u niekoko rokov nemu
spolieha len na nkladov vhodnos, ale stle viac ide do popredia schopnos slovenskch zamestnancov zastreova komplexnejie oblasti svyou
pridanou hodnotou. Vdsledku tohto faktu sa vyvjaj aj platy voblasti SSC. Nrast platov pre zamestnancov SSC vprvch 3 rokoch praxe u nie je tak
zsadn ako po minul roky. Viac konkurencie na druhej strane vznik pri zamestnancoch skomplexnejmi sksenosami, po ktorch vzrstol dopyt.
Spolu snim rastom platov vtejto oblasti ide ruka vruke aj mierne znen fuktucia viny centier, ktor maj u najv rast za sebou.
Naopak, centr, ktor vtchto mesiacoch i rokoch rast zsadnejie, maj asto problm udra fuktuciu zamestnancov zva na najnich
pozcich pod 15%. Pretrvva rokmi overen trend zujmu spolonost hlavne ozamestnancov hovoriacich dvomi, pripadne aj viacermi sve-
tovmi jazykmi. Neustle sa zvyuje dopyt po nemeckom jazyku, napriek tomu, e tento jazyk je medzi absolventmi naich kl prevldajci,
zujem je navye nielen o eurpske i kandinvske jazyky, ale aj tzv. exotick jazyky, akmi s napr. ntina, hebrejina, arabina apodobne.
Vraznm oivenm trhu SSC je stle v zujem o lokality mimo Bratislavy, kde s poda pozitvnych sksenost existujcich regio-
nlnych centier neporovnatene niia fuktucia zamestnancov aonieo niie platy. Aj preto oakvame, e alie nov centr mu
vznikn prve vinch regionlnych mestch.
Shared Service Centers (SSC) are a specifc market, developing continuously. Compared to period before 2012, no massive intake of
employees has been marked recently. In the last 12 months, the sector saw only a 10 % increase in manpower. Many existing centers
have confrmed their position within corporations and as aresult, more and more arrive, covering continuously wider scope. Apart from the
traditional fnancial centers and IT customer support, there are other areas supporting business in Bratislava (human resources, purchasing,
sales, marketing, various types of analyses and controlling functions). It is possible to say that in general, SSC located in Slovakia have not
been able to rely on cost efectiveness only in recent years, and added value has become more and more important.
Salary increases of SSC employees in the frst three years of employment are not as marked today as they used to be. Employees with more
complex experience, however, are in adiferent position as demand for them is on the rise.
Lower wages increase in the area goes hand in hand with slightly lowered fuctuation of centers whose spurt growth is over.
Conversely, centers experiencing spurt growth have often difculty to keep their fuctuation under 15%. As in the past, companies prefer
people who speak two or more languages. German is especially on the rise, though it is not the language of choice at schools; further
interest lies in Scandinavian languages as well as exotic languages as Chinese, Hebrew, Arabic etc.
The sector is going through arevival due to increased interest in locations outside of Bratislava where one of the main advantages lies in
the fact of naturally much lower fuctuation as well as slightly lower wages.
