Date: November 10th Level: 6th grade

Expected Outcomes: The students will be able to apply the contents of the last class to do new
activities related to reading and writing.

Time Comments

Introduction
10 min Greet the students – They share some comments about the
weekend – They remember last class – They receive feedback
about the letter that they wrote – The objective for this class is to
develop a new reading activity and connect the students with
the world through the text “strange hotels”

Core of the class


15 min. Some students read a letter at loud in the activity book and the
Pre-stage other students read the text in silence – They answer the
questions in pairs, share answers with the class.

While-stage
35 min. They complete a letter from the activity book, writing about their
plans. They share answer with the class. They read a new text
“Focus on the World” about strange hotels. They answer the
questions about the text.

Post-stage 20 min. They share their answers with the class – They start doing the
“Revision” part from the text in order to practise for the test.

Closing 10 min. They remember the contents of the unit – As a homework they
complete the revision part.
