Leadership 101

Part 7
The essence of Godly character can be
summed up in one word: INTEGRITY
It is defined as the state of being whole or
complete.
In earlier lesson we talked about the process
of how God develops a leader in terms of
PATTERNS, PROCESS, and PRINCIPLES
In the next phase of leadership development
God uses 4 important process items to test an
emerging leaders character.
1. Integrity check
2. Obedience check
3. Word check
4. Ministry task
The Integrity Check
At the heart of Biblical qualifications for
leadership is the concept of integritythat
uncompromising adherence to a core values
that reveals itself in sincerity, honesty, and
candor, avoiding marginal deception and/or
artificiality.
There are two parts to leadership:
Giftedness(charisma)
Character
God uses integrity checks to evaluate intentions in
order to shape character.
This check is a springboard to an expanded sphere
of influence.
3 Parts to an Integrity Check
1. The challenge to consistency with inner
convictions
2. The response to the challenge
3. Resulting expansion of ministry
