Robert Hooke was the first scientist

who observed thin slices of cork
through his self designed microscope
in1665 .he observe honey comb like
structures consisting of little
compartments.

Cell wall it provide rigidity.
Cell membrane it control entry and exit of
substances according to requirements of the
cell.
Cytoplasm it acts as ground substances for
all cell activities.
Nucleus it control all activities of cell.
Mitochondria they are responsible for
generating energy and cellular respiration.
Golgi complex they store material produced
by cell.
Vacuole they store waste product produced
by cell.
