The table of contents lists the name of each
chapter and gives the page number where the
chapter begins.

a table of contents?

Which chapter will tell about the gear a knight needs?

The glossary gives the definition of words that you
may not know when you read the book.

Why is the glossary such an
important part of a book?
Here is the glossary from a book.
Using this glossary, answer
these questions:

What does it mean to cauterize a

Who carried the banner?

The index is an alphabetical list of the topics in a book,
and tells on which page information about the topic may
be found.

Look at the Index on the left. On
