TodetermineifEasyWorshipisalreadyregistered,ClickontheHelp
menuthenAboutEasyWorship.Ifthechurchnameandserialnumberare
intheregistrationareaatthebottom,thesoftwareisalreadyregistered.

2. YourEasyWorshipregistrationinformationhasnotbeenenteredexactlyasitis
onyourregistrationletter.

Verifythattheregistrationinformationhasbeenenteredexactlyasitisonthe

problematicforEasyWorshipcustomersandtheyprovidethebestperformance
forwhatwedo.
ManyoftheATI,ViaS3andSIScardswork.However,whentryingtousethe
DVDeditor,someofthemhavecausedanActiveMoviewindowtoappear.This

Whenshoppingforagraphicscard,avoidnVidiaGeForceCardswithamodel
numberendinginLEorTurboCache.
CardswithLEinthenamearescaleddownversionsofahigherendgraphics

TurboCacheisanewfeatureonnVidiavideocards,thatallowsthevideocardto
sharethesystemmemory.Thesetypesofcardsdon'tperformaswell.Manyof

DesiredFontHeightPercentage:
EasyWorshipsetsthemaximumsizeofthefontbyusingtheDesiredFontHeight

desiredfontheightpercentage,EasyWorshipwillresizethetexttofit.EasyWorshipwill
thenusethatslidetodeterminethetextsizefortherestoftheslides.

Alltextinasongissizedbythelongestlineoftextintheentireslidesetforthatsong.In
theeventthatyouhavealinethatistoolong,youmaybreakthatlineintomultiplelines

DVDStructure

ThevideocontentinaDVDisdividedintotitlesandmenus.Titlesarefurtherdividedinto
unitscalledpartsoftitles(PTTs).Moreoften,thesearecalledscenes,chaptersor
segments.Thesecouldbecomparedtousingfoldersandsubfoldersinyourdirectory
treestructureofacomputer.Theviewercannavigatetospecifictitlesorchapterswithin
titles.EachindividuallyseparatedvideofileonaDVDmaybereferredtoasasegment.

TheauthorofaDVDdecideshowtodividethecontentintotitlesandchapters.Whena
DVDcontainsafeature-lengthfilm,theentirefilmisoftenplacedinonetitleorsegment,
andsometimesdividedintochaptersfortheindividualscenes.Extrafeaturesonthe
DVD,suchastrailersordeletedscenes,areplacedinseparatetitlesorsegments.
However,thesedivisionsarearbitrary,andmanyDVDsareorganizeddifferently.

TheEasyWorshipDVDeditorcanplaytheentiremovie,predefinedsegmentsoryoucan
selectpartsoftheDVDcalledclips.PredefinedClipsaresegmentsthatyoucanchoose
whenloadingaDVDandthosesegmentswillautomaticallybereadywiththeproper
MarkInandMarkOutpoints.Forexample,ifyouloadani-WorshiptypeDVD,allthe
songswouldbepredefinedandloadintothedatabaseareawhenyouselectPredefined
Clips.OnanyDVD,youmaysetMarkInandMarkOutpointstoeditaclip.Youmay
defineaclipnameforthateditedclip.TheDVDfromwhichyouwishtoplayaclipmust
remainintheDVDROMdrive.EasyWorshipdoesnotcopytheDVDorsegments,onlya
pathtoturnonthatselectedsegmentorclip.Ifyouhavemultipledrives,EasyWorship
willrememberthedrivefromwhichyoueditedyourspecificclip.Multipleclipsor
segmentsmaybechosenfromyourDVD.

Images&Videos
EasyWorshipreadstheresourcesfolderinyourprofiletodisplaythethumbnailsfor
ImagesandVideos.Thefilesaren'tstoredinadatabase.Onlythethumbnailsareina
database.WhenyouaddvideosandimagestotheMediatabfromanotherlocationon
yourharddrive,suchasMyDocuments,EasyWorshipwillcreateashortcuttothevideo
orimageinyourprofileresourcesfolder.

Ifyoudeletethevideofromitsoriginallocation(MyDocuments),anexclamationpoint
willappearonthethumbnailforthatvideoorimage.Theexclamationpointmeansthat
EasyWorshipcan'tfindthefile.

IfyouaddavideoorimagetothemediaareafromanexternaldisklikeaCDormemory
stick,EasyWorshipwillcopytheactualfiletotheresourcesfolderinyourprofile.

Whenaddingimagesorvideos,youmaymanuallycopyyourfilesdirectlytothevideoor
imagesfolderinresourcesfolderlocatedinYourProfile.Thisisthepreferredmethod.
Thiswayyoukeepallofyourimagesandvideosinthesameplace.Intheeventthatyou
wanttotransferallofyourbackgroundsandsongsfromonecomputertoanother,allyou
wouldhavetotransferisthedatafolderandtheresourcesfolder.

Backgrounds
BackgroundsworkdifferentlythantheImagesandVideostabs.Backgroundsisan
actualdatabaseoflinkstothefilesyouhaveaddedtoyourbackgroundspalette.Italso
containsthumbnailsofthoseimagesorvideos.Theactualvideosandimagesaren'tin
thedatabase.Whenyouaddanimageorvideotothebackgroundpalette,EasyWorship
createsanentryinthedatabasetellingitwheretolookforthatfilewithanattached
thumbnailforthatfile.Thisiswhywerecommendkeepingallvideosandimagesinthe
Resourcesfoldermentionedabove.

IfyouaddavideoorimagetothemediaareafromanexternaldisklikeaCDormemory

sourcesinEasyWorship.

ChecktheMuteButtoninEasyWorship

WhenplayingavideooraudiofileinEasyWorshiptheVCRcontrolswillappearinthe
PreviewareaandortheLivearea.Theaudiocanbemutedandun-mutedthereby
pressingthespeakericon.

CheckCablesandConnections

Theconnectiontothecomputer'saudiooutputjackmustbeconnected.Verifythatthe
computerispluggedintothespeakersorsoundboard.Also,checktheaudiocableto
thesoundequipmentforanykindofdamage.

ChecktheSoundBoardMuteButtonandVolume

Manycustomersconnecttheircomputertoasoundboardthatcontrolstheaudiotothe
soundsystem.Verifythatthechannelonthesoundboardforthecomputerisnotmuted
andthefaderfortheaudioisatanappropriatelevel.Also,verifythatthemastervolume
isatanappropriatelevel.

SongEditorLoadsSlowly

Issue:Icanseemyimageintheimagetab,butEasyWorshipwillnotallowmetoaddit

Cause:Theimageresolutionistoolarge.
Resolution:EdittheimageusinganimageeditingsoftwaresuchasMicrosoftOffice
PictureManagertoresizetheimageto800x600or1024x768.Youarenotlimitedto
theseresolutions;however,theyarethemostcommonresolutionsused.

Issue:Myimageisstretched.
Cause:EasyWorshipautomaticallystretchesyourimagetofitthescreen.Ifitisnotthe
sameresolutionasthescreen,EasyWorshipwillstretchit.
Resolution:Useanimageeditorsuchaspainttoincreasethesizeofthepicture.You
mayalsoaddtheimagetoaPowerPointslideshow.YoucantellEasyWorshiptotilethe
pictureunderBackground,Options,selectthepictureandclickmodify.Checktheboxto
