RMX_QPAP_FLEX_PL_89 - BAdI: Flexible Specification Selection for Other

Inspection Lots
Addresses (Business Address Services) General Material Data
This documentation is copyright by SAP AG.

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in Trial Management when QM planning is executed for bench scale trials and
factory trials and if an inspection lot for origin 89 is generated automatically when QM planning is closed.
You can change the inspection specifications assigned to the inspection lot manually before the system writes them
to an inspection lot in the database.
For example, you can use method PLMKB_QAPO_MODIFY to control and change specifications such as target
values, tolerances, and so on for a particular inspection lot, on the basis of a particular configuration.
You have activated the implementation RMXT_QPAP_FLEX_PL_89 (filter value 89) supplied with the system.
The BAdI is not active in the standard system. You have to activate this implementation if you want to use the
function in Trial Management.
The BAdI is filter-dependent. The system uses the inspection lot origin as the filter for this method, which means you
can enable specifications to be changed on the basis of a particular origin.
If you are already using your own implementation for the filter value 89 in this BAdI, you have to transfer the code for
the implementation supplied with the standard system to your own implementation.
Note the following for your own implementation:
After you have called the IMG activity, proceed as follows:
1. In the following dialog box, enter in the field "Implementation" a name for the BAdI implementation and
choose Copy.
If implementations have already been created for the BAdI, a dialog box with the existing implementations
will be displayed. In this dialog box, choose Create.
1. In the corresponding field, enter a short text for implementation .
2. In the tab Propertiesenter filter properties - if this is a filter-dependent BAdI.
3. Choose the tab Interface.
The name of the implementing class is generated by the system based on the name of your
impmlementation. You can change the name.
If the BAdI is a menu exit, the tab FCodes also appears.Enter a function here and, if necessary, additional
data.
1. Save your entries and assign a package.
2. Position the cursor on a method. Call up the Class Builder by double-clicking it.
3. Between the statements method <Interface-Name>~<Name of Method>. andendmethod, enter the
coding you request for the implementation.
4. Save and activate your coding, and navigate back to the screen Change Implementation.
5. Save on the screen Change Implementation.
Note: You can first create an implementation for the BAdI and then activate this later on. In this case, close
the processing function at this time.
1. Choose Activate.
When the application program is executed, the coding you have created will be run.
This BAdI can be used to realize the function for flexible inspection specifications, using method
PLMKB_QAPO_MODIFY.
This enables you to change or restrict inspection specifications again.
When the plan has been selected, the system lists all the specified inspection characteristics (table
T_PLMK) with the inspection specifications in a dialog box and you can select the characteristics you
actually want to be checked and also change certain specifications.
For example, you can use method PLMKB_QAPO_MODIFY to control and change specifications such as
target values, tolerances, and so on for a particular inspection lot, on the basis of a particular configuration.
