Immortality. The single and most precious desire of mine. Can I reach it? Can it
be reached?
That’s my goal! To find that out and, if possible, to reach it!

Immortality. No more death, suffering, disease…

Immortality. The final state of existence.

I think back at the good ol’ days when I was an apprentice of Master Su Hu.
Wise old man. Taught me everything I know. Beginning with the most basic moves
in Kung Fu and, as time went by, more and more difficult ones. Eh! What
happened? Incredible how time flew by… What a day! What a day, that day when
the Master came to me and with great confidence taught me some ancient secrets
only known by the clan elders and Kung Fu Masters. One of those secrets is the
way to see the demons that take shape of peasants or simple travelers or any kind
of humans. For that I had to take part at 3 challenges: 1. Bring the magical fan from
the One Eyed Yellow Dragon’s Cave. 2. Fight 1000 beasts in the Forest of Nether
and bring the heart of each one as proof. 3. Reach the Sahasrara-Chakra. Easy to
say, but hard to do. But the reward: priceless. Another step towards my goal. If I
could get that power and with that power if I could protect the innocent people of
Shina from the monsters and demons that rise from the underworld. From Sang.
Damn those fallen warriors! Why don’t they just stay there and leave us in peace?
What If I could get that power? Wouldn’t that me another step in my way to
immortality? It would for sure…But before that…my first challenge. Eh! Makes my
smile nowadays when I think of that challenge. What a rook I was. Sloppy and
crazy. Makes me laugh… Thought I knew all. Thought I was a kick-ass Kung Fu
Fighter. I was indeed. But not that good. Not yet prepared to face the evil demons
and monsters. But this I know now. Not then. Remember that I took my first fan from
my Master. Was old and dirty. Full of stains of blood. Blood of many dark enemies
that tried to invade Shina some time ago and Master Su Hu and his fellows of white
art magic stopped them. Truly my Master was a great warrior. Too bad he has
grown old. We could use more warriors like him. Anyway, back to the challenge. My
first challenge.
(I need another drink! Innkeeper!! More wine!)
As soon as the sun came up, I as ready for battle. Ready to face the One Eyed
Yellow Dragon. It has been said that the dragon had a skin so think that no mortal
warrior with any weapon can penetrate it. Those who said that… were wrong. Only a
few chosen one knew the secret of defeating the dragon. Now. I’m standing in front
of the Cave thinking if that was indeed a good idea. But nothing kept me from
reaching immortality. So I went in. Faced the dragon. After 1 day, the people from
the village thought I was dead.
….but they were wrong… In the foggy distance a shape appeared. Is it a
warrior? Is it a demon? People wondered… NO! I was! Me! Murong! Student of
Master Su Hu. The Yellow Dragon Slayer.
1 challenge down. 2 to go. It saddened me when I saw the face my Master put
on. He couldn’t believe it. Why was that?! Wasn’t I trained by the best? With that
thought I went to sleep.
The second day, I put my armor on. Bloody and scratched from the dragon’s
paws, but still intact and ready to protect me. The armor was passed from
generation to generation in my father’s family. The resistance was infinite, they said.
It was build by a master refiner who perished in the First Ancient Battle between
Good and Evil. He made it for the dark lord Kai, the demon army leader who
imprisoned the refiner, but he lost it during the war and an ancestor of my father
found it and kept it safe. Now it my time to wear it.
At the entrance in the forest, I met Tash, the beast master who can control all
magic creatures. He summoned 1000 beasts for me to fight. Also pointed that he
would need proof of my killings by bringing back 1000 beast’s hearts.
…and I’ve done so. After 3 days of non-stop fighting, I was victorious. Tired but
victorious. Now I was the Slayer of 1000 Beasts.
The Gods were also pleased of my acts. They started to wonder if I’m the
missing link from the White Army. The one warrior who could easy have the power
to reveal any enemy force that took human form to spy or to bring chaos in this
peaceful lands. But the hardest challenge wasn’t even started.
7 days and 7 nights I struggled to find a way to reach Sahasrara-Chakra. 7 days
and 7 nights I read all the tome’s I could get my hands on. Beggar tomes, Shaolin
tomes and even Wu Tang tomes. But the language and spelling from those tomes
was different and hard to learn. So I became desperate. Only one way to find out the
secret. Er Lang. A well known traveler who went far, far, up to the boundaries of the
world to find an ancient temple to learn the Kung Fu of Gods. But a price needed to
be paid for that information. So I said so long to my old (but very beautiful encarved)
fan. The title of the art was: Great arts of the mind. Only 1 copy of that tome existed
and once that tome was read, it would vanish forever. A fan for a great information.
A low price to pay. So I read it letter by letter, word by word, carefully and with the
deepest attention. Then I started meditating and clearing my mind and soul of any
impurities. 1st Chakra Muladhara 2nd Chakra Svadhisthana 3rd Chakra Manipura
4th Chakra Anahata 5th Chakra Visuddha 6th Chakra Ajna 7th Chakra Sahasrara.
Finaly my challenges were over. No longer an apprendice. No longer a student. But
a powerful SubMaster of my clan.
After a well deserved rest. Pricelia, the Sun Godess, came down from the 5
Elements Mountain, Palace of the Gods and granted my with heavenly eyes and
with them the power of seeing demons, fallen warriors, evil sorceres and mages and
all the wicked creatures that take human form.
Also my Master was so proud of me that he let me keep the Yellow Dragon
Magic Fan that I brought back from the Cave. Now I have a weapon I can use in this
battle between Good and Evil, that seems neverending… Just let the fallen ones
come! Just let them… I’ll be here!

…eh.. those were the good ol’ days. And some more. Eh! If I start thinking of the
day..when I’ve met the most beautiful girl in all Shina: Kiya. The Beggar Sect
Leader’s daughter…She was so beautifull, with what very very annoying pet of
hers…

Eeeh! Not now! That’s another story.. 

Now I’m sitting at the table with a bottle of wine in this Gods forsaken Inn, far
from home…at world’s end… with no battle to fight. The Black/White war ended a
while ago. The Golden Gates of The Underworld were sealed forever by the fearless
warriors and all-so-awesome Gods.
Trying to find another clue or hint for the road towards immortality.
No! I’m not Immortal yet. But the goal remains the same and has never changed.
Hmm.. lot of thinking…. Lot of drinking… Lot of thinking while drinking…

Innkeeper! More wine please! This bottles are empty!
