1) Iconography –the study of icons oriconic images: Visual or tangibleobjects or persons that signifyinvisible or intangible concepts.
2) Generic Convention: The elementsof narrative structure that weexpect to be in a specific genre of film; if they are there the filmdoesn’t make any sense to usbecause we are unable to decode itsimply.
