Organic farming
 Pakistan is among the lowest countries
where organic farming is practiced.
 Organic farming is basically the use of
fertilizers which are made by the farmers
themselves.
 It is usually made by crop residues, plant
legumes ,manures, leaves etc.
 Fruits & Crops produced in this way are
healthier and have high nutritious value.

Farming in Pakistan
 Farmers in Pakistan use fertilizers &
pesticides extensively
 Our fields have become so infertile that
without the use of fertilizers we cannot
present a good yield
 The pesticides we use is the major cause of
environmental degradation, by polluting
soil & ground water


WTO Regulations & exports
 According to WTO regulations those
countries which use fertilizers and
pesticides extensively there exports will
be restricted
 Pakistan will be fully complied with the
regulations of WTO by 2010
 And it will be unable to keep tough quality
standards which will affect its exports

