Edgar Cayce

Edgar Cacye without a doubt was one of the most famous and controversial figures in world
history. Cayce died in Virginia Beach, Virginia, which is not far from where I reside in. So, I heard
all of the time about the doctrines of Edgar Cayce. He was classified by his supporters as the
"Sleeping Prophet." He lived from 1877-1945. He was born near Beverly, which was 7 miles
south of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. In his Life, Edgar Cayce worked as a door to door insurance
salesman. Edgar was apart of the Disciples of Christ group. He worked for his father during that
period of his life. Ironically, this insurance company that Edgar Cayce worked for was named
Fraternal Insurance Company (its employees were Masons and its services were aimed at
Freemasons according to Peter Goodgame). This wasn't unusual since Masonic circles love the
occult and it mystical doctrines as Freemason David Ovason wrote a book in praise of the
astrologer Nostradamus. Ovason argues that Nostradamus knew that his own mortal remains
would be moved over 200 years after his initial burial. It was in the Cordeliers that the
body of Nostradamus was duly buried, after his death on 2 July 1566.
However, as the bibliographer, Robert Benezra, points out, a section in the
original will had been scored out. David Ovason wrote in his "The Secrets of
Nostradamus" he claimed that Nostradamus used the Green Language:

"...Moreover, as our knowledge of Nostradamus deepened, we came to the

conclusion that neither Laver, nor his mentor War, had a sufficient
knowledge of astrology, or of the arcane language, to reveal in full the
significance of the quatrains. As a result, both these authorities had
made several wrong assessments of important quatrains. This realization
merely spurred us on to deepen our own understanding of sixteenth-
century astrology, and the Green Language in which Nostradamus
wrote...Philip numbered among his most illustrious horoscopists the
great hermeticist, John Dee, who cast the King's chart on more than one
occasion. IN fact, different versions of Philip's horoscope appear in a
large number of books on astrology published in the mid-sixteenth
century: what is disturbing about them is that there seems to be little
agreement as to precisely when Philip was born. In England, Elizabeth I
employed the same John Dee as had cast the figures for the King of
Spain. Dee was a Rosicrucian and brilliant scholar, and the first man
ever to write a whole book about a single occult sigil or sigillum. This was
the famous "Monad," of his monas Hieroglyphica which appeared in
1583, and was eventually adopted as secret symbolic device by other
Rosicrucians. Astrology was still popular in Italy, even outside the
courts, for certain forms of the art were studied in universities. As late as
the first decade of next century, it flourished even in the Vatican, for
records show that Urban VIII (who helped in the condemnation of
Galileo) studied the art under Campanella..."

Ovason wrote that the Green Language was the language of the birds. The Green
Language as written by David Ovason was a secret language used to disguise
ideas and concepts. Edgar Cayce claimed that trances and hypnosis treated his
voice problems in a remarkable degree. Layne was Cayce's friend and he learned
about hypnotic acts from Marquis de Puysegur, who was a follower of the
Masonic leader Franz Mesmer. Mesmer helped to modernized modern hypnosis.
The neo-Gnostic spirituality that Edgar Cayce embraced is one of the secret
doctrines of Freemasonry. Manly P. Hall wrote about Gnostic in his Secret
Teachings of All Ages book. Later in his life, Edgar Cayce transpired as a famous
psychic. He would sleep in a trance as a hypnotized person to give people
messages about discoveries, the future, etc. He was very popular even in the
early 1900's. In 1918, Freemason Woodrow Wilson invited Cayce into the White
House for a reading. Cayce stayed in Virginia Beach until his death in 1945. New
Agers and alternative religious circles find Cayce's reading extremely
fascinating.

All through his life, Edgar Cayce claimed to be a dedicated Christian. Yet, his
trance-channeled messages proclaimed a theology that was in contradiction of
the Bible regularly. Cayce taught astrology and reincarnation. In reading 4841-
1, given April 22, 1911, Cayce referred to the soul being "transmigrated."
Because, as noted below, there are several thousand missing Cayce readings
from the period up to 1923, it is possible that he may have also mentioned
reincarnation in other readings as well. He even believed via his messages that
the Lord Jesus Christ experienced a number of reincarnation (before his birth
in Bethlehem) in the form of Adam, Enoch, Melchizedek, Joseph and others.
That's blasphemy and a blatant heresy. The Bible says in Hebrews 9:27; "It is
appointed to each man once to die and then comes judgment." Contrary to the
false promises of reincarnation, this present life is all that we are granted to
work with. Cayce like numerous physics like Sylvia Browne believed that
humans can achieved godhood or self deification after achieving the "Christ
Consciousness" over many lifetimes. Like New Agers, Cayce believed that
death was temporary being an illusion and that hidden knowledge can be
learned to aid in man's spiritual quest. In other words, Cayce's source and
agenda was promoting the Satanic lies that make up Gnosticism, paganism, and
nearly all occult traditions. There are even more similarities between Cayce's
views and the occult. His messages embraced the existed of the secret "Great
White Brotherhood" of spiritual "masters. This was taught by Helena Blavatsky,
Alice Bailey, and other members of the Theosophical Society. This is related to
the views of Harvey Spencer Lewis. Lewis created the American Rosicrucian
order called AMORC in 1915.

One of his famous messages that Edgar Cayce claimed were sent into him was the
issue about Atlantis. He believed that Atlantis was shortly destroyed in ca. 10,500
B.C. Cayce wrote about a figure named "Amilius." His readings relate to the ancient
Egyptian High Priest Ra-Ta , who was claimed by Edgar Cayce of being a previous
incarnation of himself. This story has been summarized by Hugh Lynn Cayce, which
was Cayce's son. Ra-Ta according to some Christians is just a retelling in a veiled
way of the myth of Osiris. Hugh Lynn Cayce describes Ra-ta as a person that's smart,
he had unusual abilities, and he had a unique conduct. Ra-Ta was born in a tribe that
would conquer Egypt later. Ra-Ta has been allegedly called the "first pure white man
on Earth" and being born of a virgin not begotten of man. It's normal for some
occultists to believe in racism and white supremacy. These views also mock Jesus
Christ who was born of a virgin being the only begotten Son of the living God. Now,
H.L. Cayce said that Ra-Ta was rejected by his companions, rise above prejudice to
be a leader under the King to conquer Egypt. Ra-Ta is called a prophet and seer
under the King. Ra-Ta handled the spiritual relationships of Egypt. In another reading
Cayce's source explains that "The separating of the peoples in their castes was only
the beginning then of group understandings, and the first ruler of groups set self in
that place in the Upper Nile, near what is now known as the Valley of the Tombs."
(Reading 195-41). Ra-Ta did technical work and had a sexual affair with his own
daughter named Isris. Isris was coveted by the King himself.

She was Ra-Ta's companion in performing the temple rituals and eventually it was
decreed that Isris would become his wife, through whom there might be brought a
"perfect body," meaning a higher-evolved human being, which was an expectation
realized in their son Iso. However, shortly after this the backlash against Ra-Ta
culminated in a public trial and Ra-Ta, Isris, Iso, and other members of their inner
circle, including "Hermes," were banished from Egypt to the land of Nubia to the
south. Ra-Ta came back after the people of Egypt begged him to return (because of
chaos). Ra-Ta told the people that he wanted to a dictator and a monarch. He was
old and weak by then. He went into a Temple to regenerate. Later, he prepared the
construction of the Great Pyramid with help from Hermes. Ra-Ta was known as Ra
then. Isris was called Isis now. Cayce wrote that the Great Pyramid was created on
the orientation of the travel of the stars. Ra-Ta ascended upward. Notice that this
isn't real history. These are the messages that the "spirits" gave unto Edgar Cayce.
The spirits behind the messages given by Edgar Cayce were not interested only in
the past, they also had a definite agenda for the future. According to these spirits,
Ra-Ta would appear again on the earth and he would help to lead humanity into the
New Age of Aquarius. Esoterics like Benjamin Creme and Gladys Davis (the secretary
of Edgar Cayce) believe in a return of the "Great Initiate" to aid mankind to build an
Utopian society. This is very similar to the Biblical Antichrist. Hermes has been called
Enoch. Davis goes as far as saying that Hermes is an incarnation of Jesus during
10,500 B.C. to help construct the Great Pyramid. These legends are similar to Creme
and Bailey's messages about Jesus working with Maitreya to build the New Age.
Davis would refer to the work of Freemason Manly P. Hall. Hall was an occultist and a
Theosophist. He founded the Philosophical Research Society in 1934. It's based in
Los Angeles, California. They want to merge philosophy, religion, and science into
one system of instruction to understand in their minds "Nature's interaction with
mankind." Hall's magnum opus was the book "The Secret Teachings of All Ages." It
was published in 1928 when Hall was only 25 years old. Hall wrote in his paper called
"Rosicrucian and Masonic Origins" that Freemasonry lines with the legends of Hiram
Abiff including the Osiris myth. These myths talk about death and resurrection of
false gods and the goal of building up the Temple, which is an allusion to recreating
Solomon's Temple (whose pre-figure was the Great Pyramid).

Hall wrote of the Pyramid in these words in his chapter seven "The Initiation of the
Pyramid" (of the Secret Teachings of All Ages book) that the Great Pyramid is
associated with Hermes, who was a god of wisdom and letter. Hermes ironically is a
patron figure of Freemasonry. A statue of Hermes is found in the Masonic House of
the Temple of the Scottish Rite in Washington, DC. He called the Great Pyramid as
the supreme Temple of the Supreme Deity (and it was apart of the microcosm and
the macrocosm being the tomb of Osiris). This is similar to the story of Ra-Ta,
Hermes, and Isris among Edgar Cayce. The Pyramid to occultists is a place of
initiation into godhood that is a Luciferian lie. Edgar Cayce's proponents believed that
he predicted the Great Depression and the stock market crash in the late 1920's, the
rise of Hitler in Germany, India would break from the British Empire in order to be
independent.

Edgar Cayce believed that the Book of Revelation was based on meditative experiences. I
don't agree with this obviously. His version of meditation was based sitting or chanting
"Arrr--eee-oommm" the crucial element, he believed, is that of opening up to divine
influences. The Search For God books say that "Through prayer we speak to God. In
meditation, God speaks to us." Cayce's concept of meditation has some aspects in
common with Hinduism or Buddhism (the chakras, kundalini) but is most similar to
Christian versions of New Thought. Obviously, Edgar Cayce embraced heresies and a
false Jesus. Cayce promoted the concept of the Akashic records or the recording of all
known history throughout the Universe's existence. He claimed that he used these records
in order to lean about Atlantis. This is strange. Askasha is a Sanskrit word meaning sky,
space, or ether. This concept is found in Theosophy and Anthroposophy. Theosophists
promoted this record and they act like you can access this via astral projection. This is a
occult corrupt of the Book of Life in the Bible where it shows whether or not people are
admitted into the Kingdom of God or not.

Graham Hancock and Robert Bauval falsely assumed that the Hall of the Records in the
Great Sphinx at Giza would be rediscovered and opened between 1996 and 1998 (as
relating to the 2nd coming of Christ). Even Lambert Dolphin once work with Edgar
Cayce-related groups. He once led a SRI team in Giza. Today, the Edgar Cayce
Foundation and its Association for Research & Enlightenment credits Lambert
Dolphin and his SRI team with determining the location of the hidden chambers
in the project's early stages. Lambert Dolphin informs readers in his personal testimony
that he became a Christian in 1962, but neglects to state that 15 years later he directed the
Stanford Research Institute project at the Great Sphinx in Egypt. Neither does he mention
that, for this project, he traveled to Virginia Beach to negotiate funding from the Edgar
Cayce Foundation or that, in 1983, he helped to set up the Independent Mars Project as
consultant to NASA. Dolphin calls himself a Christian now since 1962 and
removed New Age web rings from his Banner Ministries site. I’m sure Dolphin
doesn’t support the agenda of Edgar Cayce today.

The A.R.E Association for Research and Enlightenment (Edgar Cayce) said that this
about Jesus: “He is an ensample [example] for man, and only as a man, for He lived
only as a man, He died as man.”( Association for Research and Enlightenment Edgar
Cayce, reading no. 900-10 from Circulating file: Jesus the Pattern and You, p. 53.)
Edgar Cayce-”Q. `When did the knowledge come to Jesus that he was to be the savior
of the world? “A. `When he fell in Eden... In Adam, he brought sin,'“ (Psychic Healing, p.
75). The Scriptures say that Jesus was more than a man, but the Savior of the
world and God in the flesh. 1 Pt.1:1 says that: “ our God and savior Jesus Christ.”
Titus 2:13 mentions Jesus being called as: “our great God and Savior.” Col 1:16-
17 outlines that: “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that
are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities
or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.” 1 Tim.3:16 even says
that: “God was manifested in the flesh.” So, the Lord Jesus Christ is God. Edgar Cayce
claimed to be a real prophet, but he made false predictions and accepted New Age
doctrines.
