Thou Shalt Keep Them, O Lord.
How to receive from God.

How to receive from God. Malachi 38-11, We are looking at a curse from God because
of disobedience to the ordnance of God to bring tithes and offerings into the House of
God. These are two separate things. One the tithes are specific of 10 present per the days
of Melchisedec king of Salem. This is a commandment and not a suggestion. The second
is offerings above the tithes in which your financial blessings come from. the blessing of
financial aid comes not from your tithes but from the offering.

Some people make the mistake here. Now if you go a little further in verse 11, this is the
reason a lot of poor Christians are poor. The devourer, which means to eat, is eating their
financial aid. God is the only one who can rebuke him and stop the consumption of
blessings. The devourer is a demonic spirit that tries to keep Christians poor. After the
congregations does what God demands in verses 7-10, then they can ask God to deliver
them from the one in verse 11. They must hold their faith and start praising God and
thanking Him before the blessing arrives to show their total faith in God.

Don't wait until the blessing arrives but worship and praise Him Before. Here are five
points that we need to look at 1.Family Welfare 1.Order in the family ,2.Knowing your
position in your family., 3. Duty in the family., 4.Honor of the Family., 5. Respect in the
Family 2.Healing 1. Faith., 2. Trust., 3. Belief., 4. Regeneration., 5. Submission
3.Prosperity 1.Seeking God First., 2. Prayer., 3. Leadership., 4. Responsibility., 5. Duty.
4. Worship 1.From the Heart., 2.With the spirit and not with just words., 3.By lifting up
Holy Hands, free of guilt., 4. With Honesty., 5. With Love. 5. Salvation 1. Release.,
2.Rejoice., 3. Reflection., 4.Resolve., 5. Reverence.

Many have asked the question, How can I receive from God? the above points are a
start. You have to remember to trust God. Jesus said, that the Father knows the things
that you need before you ask of Him. That's the reason He gave us, what we call the
Lords prayer. Receiving from God requires all the above and more. Seeking the
Kingdom of Heaven first and all these things shall be added unto you. That's a promise.
Remember that we are not under law but grace.

In Hebrews 7:12 lets read, For the Priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity
a change also of the law. For there is verily a dis-annulling of the commandment going
before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. So what does this mean to us? It
means that we have a better covenant thru Jesus. All things have passed away, behold all
things become new. One thing that you have to remember, when God blesses you, think
more of the one who blessed you than that of the blessing. Lets look at 1Timothy 6:17 ,
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high minded, nor trust in
uncertain riches, but in the livening God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.
Receiving from the new law and not from the old, which is fulfilled in Christ Jesus.

But we also have to remember the warnings from God about the blessing after it comes,
look at Hebrews 6:5-11 as a guide to righteousness God wants us to follow
1.Righteousness...Doing things the right way. 2.Godliness.........Following His example.
3. Faith................Trusting in His word. 4. Love.................of the heart and not of the
mind. 5. Patience.............waiting upon the will of the Lord. 6. meekness...........not being
high minded after the blessings come. We can also add, fasting and prayer to receive the
results that are, necessary, in our lives. So what do you think, do you have what it takes
to receive from the Lord, or are you lacking?

Look within your self and follow the example that Jesus set and see how great a blessing
that the Father will pour out upon you, give and ye shall receive Knock and it shall be
opened, seek and ye shall find, ask and it shall be given. Are you ready to receive, are
you ready to give, are you ready to rejoice? I pray that you are. ars

Let us go on to Perfection.

Hebrews 6:1-6:2 An exhortation to remain steadfast in the Faith. Soon we shall see the
portals of Glory, soon we shall see the Great I Am, The Almighty Living God. What
does every Church need, what are the people looking for? What are you seeking in this
world and especially in the next? Hebrews 6:1-2, Therefore leaving the principles of the
doctrine of Christ, let us go on to perfection;....How, by getting nearer the cross. Do you
believe in the Book and the Blood, I mean, really believe?

Shout Glory, to the God of Heaven, I am who I am By the will of God,the Joy of the
Lord is my strength and I will not be moved. Joy, Grace, Peace,Power and
understanding, all attributes of God ,yes but of His children,us. We have the Power of
the Holy Ghost, we have the Power of Jesus, we Have the Power of the Cross. What
separates us from the world and the unbelievers? Hebrews 13:10, We have an alter,
whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

We have been grafted into the branch, which is Christ Jesus our Lord and no man can
take us out. We are a separated people a royal priesthood, a particular people we are the
Children of God, and we shall not be moved. Joy, Power in us, rejoice, I say again
,Rejoice. You are the saints of Heaven, the Saints of God. We need no man to declare us
saints, we have one of greater power that has already set us apart, He is the one in
scripture that has declared and given us sainthood. The power of the resurrection is at
our finger tips, all we have to do is by faith ,reach out and touch the same spirit that
raised Jesus from the dead. Reach out children, reach out and touch the Living God.

And the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead shall also quicken your mortal
bodies. Do you believe in the power of the Holy Ghost, I do, I believe in resurrection ,I
believe in healing I believe in the Blood. In 1999 I was declared dead of a massive heart
attack, Glory to God. My wife as per instruction of the Holy Ghost, came into the room,
laid hands upon me, invoked the name of Jesus and the Power of the Blood of the Lamb,
and I arose. I'm alive, I'm alive, all my sins have been forgiven and Heavens gates are
opened wide. To the glory of God, I've survived two massive heart attacks,Reflux
Sympathetic Dystrophy and Diabetes.

Let us go on to perfection, lets not set around and wait on Jesus to return, he said occupy
till I come, occupy means, do business, go on, do the work that Hes called us all to do,
preach the gospel, be instant in season and out of season, do the work of an evangelist.
Just because you say, that you weren't called to be an evangelist doesn't mean that you
cant evangelize. Hebrews 6:18, That by two immutable things, in which it was
impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge
to lay hold upon the hope set before us....an Anchor.

Lets go back to verse 1 again. let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation
of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God. What you did yesterday was
fine, if it was for the Glory of the Lord, but the works that you did are gone, what about
today, have you moved forward, today, lets go on. There should be Joy in your heart as
you inter the portals of the Church there should be excitement in you step, anxious to
know what God is going to do in the service, chills running down you spine as the songs
begin, waiting upon the Lord, your prayers should have been prayed before you left your
house, This is the time to praise the Lord, lifting up Holy Hands, singing in the spirit.
My Jesus ,my Savior, Lord there is none like you, all of my days, I long to praise the
wonder of you mighty, Love.

Its not time to be still, Its time to rejoice, you are in the presence of God. Expect the
foundation to shake as He inters, expect miracles to happen. And the scriptures states,
And the place where they prayed, WAS SHAKEN. Our God is alive for evermore. That's
what separates us from other religions, that don't believe in Jesus, Our God is alive, Hes
not made into an image of Gold, Silver, bronze, stone or wood, Hes alive. Say out loud, I
am somebody,I am a Child of the King,I am who I am by the grace of God and I will not
be moved. Now, my brothers and sisters , now we can go on to perfection,We are in the
world but not of the world, let the world do what it wants, we are a separated people, lets
rejoice in the Lord .As Martin Luther King once said,I'm free at last, I'm free at last,
Thank God almighty, I'm free at last.
Does God Really Love Me?
Luke 8:21-8:39 After all we've done to ourselves and this Earth, why does God Love us?
Luke 8:21+8:39 Does God really Love me, when I cant even love myself?I've been
down on life sometimes, haven't you. The things that we think are going to happen ,don't
and the things that we think wont happen do.

Do you sometimes think, How can God love someone like me after all I've done in this
life and what I've done to Him? Have we been more trouble to God than were worth?
The Bible states that, we are not to enter into self condemnation, but at times we all start
to think about our past and the things that we've done. We go about our life and look
around at all the people that are running around, living their life, one day at a time,
thinking only of themselves. Sometimes we have so many questions that we wonder if
we will ever get all the answers.

Looking at the news and seeing people being robbed by others trying to get things that
they haven't earned and we wonder, why does God love an unruly people like us? As it
was in the Day of Noah, cant you hear the turmoil of life around you? Can you honestly
say that you can leave your home at night and not worry about who is just outside
waiting? What has this world become, what have we become, and why does God love
us? I've spent time alone wondering, Does God really love me? Does He really care
about the Christians with cancer and heart disease? Can He really understand, me or
really know me, the way I feel and act and question , just about everything?

Then I remember what Jesus said, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest, take my yoke upon you and learn of me. It brings back
memories of times that we all have worked hard and struggled, seeking a better way of
life for our children. Can we be honest with ourselves and lift up our hands church, How
many here today, has ever felt this way, how many here can lift their hands and say, that
you've wondered, if God really loved you or why God would take out time just for you?
Lets see them.........Amen. Does God really love me? Yes He does, but why, why a
people that have a hard time loving each other?

The answer is found in Genesis, John and with Noah. God saw the state of man in the
days of Noah and decided to repent, that He had created man. But with Noah, He saw
what He always wanted, a family. Genesis is easily broken down to three parts, which
gives us our answer, 1. Generation, The rise of Man, creation and birth. 2. Degeneration,
The fall of man, sin, murder and power. 3. Regeneration, The rebirth of man, religion,
worship and reconciliation with God. God really loves us, because, He wants the same
thing that we want, children, to love and hold and nourish, to have a family to take care
of and to raise, to instill in us His virtues and spirit, His way of life and eternal power.
To have an heir to His kingdom.
How many here today can say that when you finally married, that you still felt a
emptiness in your heart, that needed to be filled, and when you first saw your baby son
or daughter your heart leaped with joy and pride? Your home would no longer be empty,
the shadows would all go away, the sights and sounds of your child playing in the home,
that you've prepared for them, was now a place of happiness full of laughter and
amazement at all the new things that you saw your child do?

That's what God wants, and will have. Not just a child but children, multitudes and
multitudes of them, His house is big, He wants to fill it to the brim and overflowing.
Remember what Jesus said, In My Fathers House are many mansions.....He said, Many,
These are for us, a real home that will never pass away. Does God really Love me, Yes,
and when someone refuses to Have God as His Father that child, that God wanted so
much, Dies in his sins, and God grieves with Jesus, Just as we would grieve at the loss
of a child. If your Lost today and don't have God as your Father and Jesus as your
Savior, Please don't let Satan take you away from your inheritance, don't let him take
away a child from God, Don't let Jesus cry again for the children that die to sin and will
never be able to enjoy the Home that has been prepared for you.

Instead of being born into life don't let Satan bury you in the lake of fire, don't let him
laugh at you, as you are cast into hell. Give your life to Jesus, now, today before its to
late. We don't have to wonder any more or ponder the question, Does God Really Love
Me?

When God Says to Move, MOVE!

1stKings 17:1-9....And the word of the Lord came unto him saying. Arise, get the to
Zarephath..... Elijah Genesis 12:1-4 Now the Lord had said unto Abram,Get the out of
thy country...... Abram Its time to get up, its time to get packed, its time to get out, its
time to listen to the Lord and go where He desires us to go. Why aren't you blessed, why
aren't you succeeding, why are you still in the state of want? Why is it that you cant
understand, why hasn't the Lord spoken to you in such a long time?

Could it be that, God has spoken to you, but you haven't listened? Are you too busy
praying, that you don't have time to be still and let God talk for a while? Look at Elijah,
There was a drought in the land and a famine, people were dieing and not listening to the
Lord. God told Elijah to , get up and go to a stream, that I will show you, there will be
water and shade and I will have the ravens feed you. And you will be spared the
tribulations that I will bring upon this land.

The stream was called Cherith, which means, cut. It was Elijah's refuge ,in time of
trouble. But what would have happened if Elijah refused to go?He had the freedom of
choice, he could have said, no, I want to stay here with the rest of the people, ma-by I
can help them. It was just his life wasn't it? His choice to stay there wouldn't affect
anyone else? Or would it? Of course it would have, He for starters would have starved to
death, and the widow and Her son, would have died, there was a chain of events that
God knew of that would have changed everything, including the writing of the
scriptures. And what about Abram, God had sent his people to Canaan but they stopped
short of their blessing, they stopped in Haran. Isn't it like Christians today, always
stopping at the wrong place at the wrong time Missing their blessings, because they
don't give God a chance to work in their lives the way He wants too.

Why do we always want to go a different direction that God wants us to go? Is it

because that we can? Or is it because we are afraid of whats on the other side of the hill?
Terah was satisfied to stay in Haran, I imagined that they prospered to an extent, but it
wasn't where God wanted them to be. His family was missing the true blessings that
awaited them in Canaan. An Elijah, what about Him?

When He got to the stream, I guess that he thought that he had it made. Fresh water,
shade, the ravens bringing him food each day, wow, what a life. No worries, no work, no
problems, and no responsibility. But, God wanted him to move, there was a poor widow
woman and her son about to starve to death and God wanted him to go. Sometimes God
allows situations to happen to us, to get us to move. With Abram, Terah, died and with
Elijah, God caused the stream to dry up and He quit sending the food. So Elijah had a
choice again, move or die where he was. We cant stop short of our blessings, we cant
stop short of our place in life and we cant stop short of our responsibility to God and
others. Do you just want to be responsible for yourself?

Then find an island where you can live alone. As long as we are called Christians, we
have a delegated duty from Jesus, and the authority to seek out those that are lost. Your
blessings are just around the next rise, around the next bend in the road, its not at Haran
and its not at Cherith, it awaits those that are willing to go forward an extra mile with
God. A lot of decisions to take into consideration isn't it? I've been there, thinking,
should I go or stay, should I move on to the next level of faith or remain where I am, just
because its comfortable. Just because its safe? God wont mind, I'm safe and comfortable
and no one needs me anyway. No one wants to here my opinion, nobody wants to here
my side of the story, nobody cares anyway.

What if Jesus thought this way, Well I don't really have to go to the cross, I can just
preach to the people that will listen to me. Ill stay right here and ma-by later they will all
believe in me . I'm not going to move, I'm going to stay right here. The roads to long and
the journey is too hard. From Adam to Jesus, from Jesus to us, imagine the decisions that
were made. Decisions that effected the entire human race, decisions of life and death,
condemnation and reconciliation, the very fabric of life hung in the balance. And here
we sit trying to make up our mind weather to move or not.

We read and we study and we marvel at the old and new testament saints of what they
did, but didn't Jesus declare that we could do the same as he and even greater works
shall we do. Well church, we aren't going to do anything sitting in Haran. All God is
waiting on is us. We say a lot of times, Well when its Gods time. Don't you think that it
is past time, don't you think that God is waiting on us? Your blessings are just in reach,
lets get out of Haran, lets get out of Cherith, lets look up, pack up cause we about to
move up, to a brighter day a more secure future a larger blessing awaits, in the land
where God wants us to be. So when God says move, MOVE.

I Pray that Ye Prosper. Part 1.

Luke 16:19-16:31 What is prosperity and how does it affect our health, physically and
spiritually? “I pray that ye prosper and be in health, as your soul prospereth.” There are
many descriptions of prosperity, depending upon who you ask. To some prosperity is
,money in the bank, power ,prestige, possessions, etc, and to others prosperity, is a trailer
on a half acre of land ,food on the table and a job that pays the bills. 3rd John 1:2, John
was speaking to Gaius, who was of bad health, but of strong faith. But John was
speaking to us also, soul prosperity is most important to all of us, there can be a strong
soul in a weak body.

Here John was putting his prayer and importance on soul first ,then body. Its putting the
health and physical prosperity as a result of soul prosperity. The greater the faith of an
individual the greater the reward here in the physical. But our goal in life is not to gain
wealth and position on this earth but to lay our treasures away in heaven. We strive for
faith and soul prosperity ,to help others of weaker faith. To bear the hardships of the
weak and lend a hand to the low in spirit and heart. Health of the body is always
secondary to salvation of the soul.

The Bible states that bodily exercise prophets little, not to say that we don’t exercise to
keep the body fit, but the body will pass away for an eternal body that will never die.
The things that we do to our bodies to maintain them in good health ,will be of little use
when it comes to our time to die. So then, What is prosperity? Its having a peaceful mine
and close contact with God. Its knowing that all is well with you and the Father of all
creation. Its being able to sit and watch different colored birds feed off the food you’ve
provided for them on your porch. Its being able to go to sleep at night and not having to
worry about waking up the next day.

To look at prosperity we have to look at three people in particular, the rich man, Lazarus
and Solomon. First lets look at the rich man, Jesus spoke about. Luke 16:19-31, “There
{WAS }a certain rich man..” here Jesus made the positive statement about an actual
person, with the word ,”was”, this man he speaks of was probably a man the people
knew well, but to prevent unnecessary tension among the people, Jesus did not call him
out by name. The story was the important thing He wanted the people to remember.
Jesus knew this mans name as He knew all men by name.

This rich man had it all, money, power, prestige, possessions and security. His wealth
was probably obtained legally, for the scripture says nothing to the contrary. He was
probably an honest man, from a good family. In the view of the people and himself he
was prosperous in many ways. That's the way it is in today's world, sinners as well as
Christians, can be financially well to do, but we have to look at the rich man in a
different way of prosperity. In his life he had it all except one thing, his soul was not
right with God. He lacked compassion and charity.

This man was under the Law of Moses, The Ten Commandments, he was under the
law ,for Jesus had not fulfilled prophecy to its full extent and also, this man was already
dead. The Bible states that ,”those that are under the law shall be judged by the law, and
those without law shall be judged without law....” So here we have an honest, prosperous
man who died and went to hell. Now on the other side of prosperity we have a man
named ,Lazarus, which means,”God is help”, in the days that are spoken of here there
were many people named Lazarus, it was a popular name. Many people were choosing
names that depicted, God in their life.

Now Lazarus was a beggar, not to be confused with the Lazarus that Jesus raised from
the dead, these are two different people. Lazarus, didn’t have anything, the scripture
states that he was “laid” at the rich mans gate. The word here “laid” means, to be thrown
or dropped heavily” Lazarus was placed roughly at the gate by others that wanted
nothing to do with him. With no family, friends, no religious leaders to help him, he was
dieing of disease and hunger. The important thing to remember, he was laid here
because, they couldn’t find any other place to take him, he was rejected by all. Do you
sometimes think the same thing about yourself, you feel that no one cares and that you
have no place to go for help?

I believe we all at one point or another in our walk with Christ, feel the same way,
especially at the times that God allows us to walk a little way on our own to test our
faith. Now Lazarus had a different type of prosperity, something that others could see,
touch or understand, he had soul prosperity. It wasn’t that he was a bad man, to have all
this sickness to come upon him, even the Bible states that, if and when we suffer, its
better to suffer as a christian, which was also introduced under the Law. Bad things do
happen to good people. With food and raiment, there with be content, which was
probably the way that Lazarus lived his life.
Depending upon God to provide his daily needs, while he concentrated his time on
worshiping God. As you notice in the end ,both men died, weather rich or poor, the
outcome of this life is still the same, death. In part two we will discuss the other side of
prosperity, with David and Solomon.

I pray that ye Prosper. part 2.

1 Kings 3:3-3:14 Many believe that prosperity is a symbol of Godliness, or that it makes
them appear a little better than others. But what is prosperity and who is eligible? In part
one ,we found out about two individuals, Jesus spoke of, the rich man and Lazarus. In
part two we are going to look at King David and Solomon.

There are two sides to prosperity, on the one hand some people resent those that haven't
received it and on the other hand there are people that resent those that have received.
What makes the difference between the two? They both are forgetting what the Bible
says is most important in this life. For example, as the disciples returned from their
commission of preaching, they bragged to Jesus that, “Even the spirits were subject unto
us.” And what did Jesus answer, “ Be not glad that the spirits were subject unto you, but
that your name is written down in the Book of Life.” Remember that prosperity is in the
eye of the beholder, trash to one is treasure to another.

King David was a warier ,a leader of armies, a man after Gods own Heart. He loved God
and wanted nothing except to please God, and to lead a strong nation. 2nd Samuel,,
chapters, 11 and 12. But as with all great men ,He was tempted by the lust of the flesh
and committed sin with ,Uriahs wife ,Bathsheba, David had it all, power, prestige, lands,
money, but he lacked one thing that everyone that worships God must have, Integrity, a
willingness to forsake all to serve the Lord. David made a mistake and He paid dearly
for it. He brought a curse upon his house hold, that he had to pay for. David was
forgiven, but he lost one thing that he truly desired in his heart, That was to build the
temple for God.

Now in first Kings we find that David’s transgressions were not only forgiven but God
promised that His throne would be passed down to His son Solomon and not only that
but it would be before the Lord forever. Prosperity here with sin and forgiveness, but
what a price to pay. 1st Kings 3:6-14. Now Solomon was another story, He learned from
the mistakes of his father and sought out not earthly wealth but wisdom to rule .If you
look at 3:7, you will find out the main reason for Solomons decision. Remember in
prosperity, you can loose it just as fast as you gain it, because of a lack of management
skills.

Solomon told the Lord in verse 7, “...I am but a little child; I know not how to go out or
come in.” This was true honesty before God. Telling God the absolute truth in ones
prayers will go farther with God than trying to make up excuses or giving God reasons
that don't quite sound right. Beating around the bush with God will get you nothing
except a whipping from your Father. Solomon was honest and forthright and received
much more than he asked for. A prosperity that, Glorified the Lord. And isn’t that what
we are here for, to Glorify God.

You can read a lot and get nothing out of scripture with the wrong attitude but then again
with the right attitude and an open mind God will open up the Gates of Heaven and pour
out more wisdom and knowledge to you, than you can imagine. Prosperity is again,
many different things to different people. In the world we live in ,there is a need for
more people like David and Solomon and the Poor Man. People that are willing to risk it
all for God. People that are willing to say, “Father, Give me this day my daily bread,
bless me if I've been faithful, and punish me if I've failed, for thy chastisement is better
than a mountain of gold without you. “

This reminds me if an old song I remember from growing up, “ United we stand and
divided we fall, and if our backs should ever be against the wall, well be together,
together you and I.” In conclusion, prosperity is in the mind of the beholder, prosperity
without God, is not prosperity, but a delusion of the soul. It wont stand the test of time, it
wont satisfy the hunger of the spirit and it wont deliver the broken hearted. True
prosperity is fulfilling Gods will within your life, working to give to others and sharing
without remorse or regret.

Your prosperity is in your heart and not in your bank account, its in your spirit and not in
your wallet, its in your soul and not in your arrogance. When we learn to pray for others
with a pure heart, when we learn that to give is better than to receive, then we will know,
what prosperity is.

The Power of Christ.

Acts 1:7-1:8 Have you ever determined in your mind why the disciples of Jesus ,were
able to preform such miracles and the Christian today cant, let look at the Power of
Christ. Sermon based on the scriptures of Acts 1;7-8, but ye shall receive power.... How
many know about power transmission of electricity ? Electricity is produced at a power
plant or station and sent thru the high tension lines to sub stations that boost the current
and distribute the power to the rest of us, the further you get away from the source, the
weaker the power. At that time a different connection is made from a different source.
The Bible states clearly that God is our source and supply.

Christians have ,over the last 2,000 years, been getting away from the source of their
power. In scripture people were healed by ,the very shadow of the disciples falling upon
them, a word ,a touch, a prayer, a fast. But as the years went by something happened, the
prayers started to, fall short, the fasting was being preformed less and less, the touch
became ineffective , but why? Jesus gave us the answer, "Will there be faith on the earth,
when I return?" Will the church lose its power and forget about the source, trying to tap
into something else instead, use a low grade substitute for the real? Where does the
power of the church lie?

The working of miracles is one of the spiritual gifts that the Bible states that we can
have, but it isn’t used, because of unbelief, Paul once said, "I come to you not with great
swelling words, but with demonstration and with power." Its the act of working in power
and demonstration , The churches power is not in the name of the church or
denomination, its not in the attendance or number of members, its not in the financial
well being of the church, but the power lies in the faith of its people. And their ability to
accept the power transfer , from the Holy Ghost.

He is our power sent down from God. How many have prayed the Lords prayer? It goes
"Our Father which art in Heaven....." If you’ve prayed that prayer before, then you must
believe it, believe what you say? That God is your Father, then if God is your Father
then you must accept the power that He has granted you. The problem is, that some have
been so far from the source that not even a sub station cant boost the power enough to
keep you in the light. Lets put it this way, when you go home after church on a Sunday
night and its dark at home you reach up a flip on the light switch, what happens?,.. the
light comes on, and you take it for granted that it will every time you flip on the switch,
and you automobile, you get in turn the switch and the engine starts, and you expect it to
every time.

The church has become lulled into believing that every time they pray, the light is going
to come on. But with your house and your car, what happens when they don’t work as
expected? You panic, you get angry ,some even become scared, expecting the worst to
happen, a dark house on a windy ,stormy night is a scary thing. I’m speaking to those
who have drawn away from their source of power, the proud, arrogant, boasters, the
pleasers of man ,instead of pleaser of God. Jesus warned these people to think about
what they are doing. You cant drive a car at 60 mph and cut off the power, you will lose
control and put at danger, not only yourself but every one that close to you. So what is
the answer, get a better connection, if the one you have is faulty, reroute it, make a
straight tie in, go straight for the source.

The Holy Ghost. Jesus promises us ,that He would send us a comforter, which when He
comes, we would be endowed with power from on High. The problem is that sometimes
the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit ,is forgotten, we try to do His work in our lives and we
start loosing power. Our prayers are falling short, our faith is waning ,our health is
failing and the world cant tell the Christian from themselves. A pitiful way to be. The
answer is in scripture, verse 8, "But ye shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost is come
upon you;..."We all have the power to preform the things that Jesus said that we could
do, all we haft to do is get closer to Him. The recognition of the Holy Ghost in our
church and in our lives is a great place to start.

I suggest that when the church comes together, that we stop and invite the Holy Ghost
into our service and let Him lead the service, allowing Him to preform His work, in our
service and in our lives. Here's a prayer that all can use, " Our most gracious Heavenly
Father ,we come to you, asking Father that thy Holy Spirit come into our service, for He
is welcome in this House of Worship, and Holy Spirit, let thy work be accomplished in
us, not only here but in our daily lives. We thank thee Father, in the name of thy son
Jesus Christ. Amen." Lets start taping into the source of power, for there are many in the
family of God that need aid in this life.

Let our prayers start meaning something again, let cancer be healed, heart disease,
tumors, let our prayers start touching our lost loved ones and our enemies. Lets get back
the things that the enemies has stolen from us, let us go to his camp and regain control of
our family, finances, health and our destiny. The Holy Ghost leads us and guides us and
in trouble He hides us and protects. With out the baptism in the Holy Ghost ,we have no
power. Let Him in again, let Him do His work and Let the Power of Christ, restore you
into an un-defeatable soldier of God.

Let the power of Jesus shine in you, as you walk into a room, people will know who
dwells inside you, demons will bow and step out of the way, when you pray, your
prayers will be answered, when you lay hands upon the sick, they will recover and when
you fast, you will be accepted of God. ars

If Your Eye Offend Thee.

Matthew 6:29-30 , Mark 9:47 In today's world, we are compassed with many different
doctrine and religions. Religions that turn the truth into a lie. Jesus told us about these
things, so that we could prepare ourselves, for the inevitable. Caring for the church, is a
24/7 duty. We are always on guard for the wolf to inter into the flock. Jesus speaks of
this in Matthew 6, lets take a look at what Jesus had to say.

“And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee; for it is profitable for
thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast
into Hell” Now we know that Jesus wasn’t talking about our physical body in verse 29
and 30, but was talking about the body of Christ, within the church. The church body is
a part of the whole body of Christ and must be taken care of as an individual. Paul also
speaks of the Body of the Church in 1st Corin. 12:14-27.” For the body is not one
member but many.” Jesus and Paul speak of the Church as a body to help us understand
the many, parts of the church. They divide the many different duty’s of the church as if
they were dividing a human body.

The, eye, ear, head, feet, hand, nose, etc. Each one of these has a specific purpose in the
life of an individual and also in the life of the church. The Head of the Church is Jesus
Christ, Himself. This was directed by God and implemented by the Holy Ghost, as the
directing influence of the Church. Eph. 1:22 “ and hath put all things under His feet
{Jesus} , and gave Him to be the Head over all things to the Church. Which is His body,
the fullness of Him that filleth all in all.”

So now that we have established who and what the body is, we can now look at the
scriptures with better insight, as to what He was speaking about. Matthew 5: 29 an 30, is
a warning and commandment from the Head of the Church {Jesus}, as to who should be
removed from the church and why. “If thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out and cast it
from thee...” meaning, if a member of the church having a position, within the body and,
the doctrine is contrary to that of the scriptures, he is to be removed from the church
{Body}, to prevent the whole body from being contaminated and lost, to be sent to hell.
Jesus is concerned about contamination of the body, by false doctrine.

As you can clearly see in today's life and especially, where the church is concerned, false
doctrine is trying to gain a foot hold in the body of Christ. Evolutionist, homosexuals
and the new world order are trying to use, love and words like understanding and
tolerance to gain a place within the church. Even the newest translations of the Bible are
slowly changing the word to deceive, case and point, a translation is out calling, “the
word WAS[ ”A”] God”

This may sound insignificant, but changing a single word, changes the meaning. The
anti-Christ {spirit} will and is trying everything that he can to deceive, the very elect.
Jesus said, “...if thy right hand offend thee, CUT IT OFF.” Same meaning as before,
there are anti-christian spirits, that are trying to infiltrate the body of Christ with, false
doctrine.

The scriptures tell us that its better to loose one soul than to loose an entire body of
souls. Not everyone will be saved, it is Gods will that no man should perish, but that all
should come into repentance. But children, not all will repent. There will be more in
Hell than Heaven, its true, its scripture, there will be a massive number going to the
Lake of Fire, just because they refuse to come into the light. Because they refuse to
believe in Jesus.

We as Christians must, get into the word of God deeper than we have. Are we becoming
lax in our studies, are we becoming soft, as the body, are we wearing, rose colored
glasses and blinders to what is going on around us. Its time to wake up church and smell
the roses. The day of death is approaching, we are headed into a day of great tribulation,
where only the strong shall survive. Many are called but few are chosen, the way is
broad and many there shall find it, warning after warning from Jesus Himself, to watch
out over the church, be her guard and protector.

But we must be careful with verses 29 and 30, not to use our authority lightly. The Bible
gives us ,strict rules, to remove an individual from the body. Matthew 18: 15-18, is the
guiding law from Jesus on these matters. What more can be said, what more can I add,
to a situation that is on all of the body. Its here it blatant and very real, a danger from
within, that could cause many to perish, be vigilant and watch, discuss the word, break it
down, understand that eternity is forever and we have to get it right.

So, “if your hand offend thee cut it off and if your Eye offend thee, pluck it out. “ Be
defenders of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, stand fast in the gospel that you’ve been taught.

Is There A God?

Tribulation comes in many shapes and forms. Many blame the Creator for everything
that happens, that is bad, but never do they give God the Credit for the things that are
good. They always say; “ If There was a God, then this would never have happened.”
Why did God take my Child, Why did God destroy our homes, Why did God allow this
bombing? Why, Why, Why? Much of the blame for tragedy falls on man and not on
God. God doesn't start wars, does not cause lust, greed, avarice nor any other thing that
is unrighteous. Man make many of his own disasters.

Many times Christians pray earnestly and diligently for many things for God to do,
sometimes we make the mistake of not praying in His will. We see our selves in conflict
with God when our prayers are not answered and we are hurt or discouraged. This
should not be so, but oft times it is. Sometimes bad things happen to good people but we
cannot judge the Creator, for we belong to Him, just as a piece of clay belongs to the
potter. Yes there is a God. Weather it be the Living God or gods made by the imagination
of man. We can make a god from anything, money, flowers, animals, anything. If we
believe that what we have chosen will change our lives for the better, we will consider
what we have made as our god.

The best example of this idea is in Acts 17:22-23; Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars'
hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For
as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To the
unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. The
people in Athens didn't know what or whom to worship, god after god, of the peoples
choosing were all listed, none knowing weather their prayers were ever heard, and the
last inscription was to,”The unknown God.”

This is the one that there was no physical representation of. This was God. Man sees
God as a Spirit of infinite Power and control over all things, where His worshipers will
be ever lastingly happy in this life and in the next and when tragedy happens they blame
Him. This idea is false in some ways. God is all power but you must remember that He
will not inter-fear with the decisions that man makes, for if God inter-fears how then
could He be a impartial God? As the days pass and men die, from one thing or another,
we always wonder, Why?

Why at a young age, why of an explosion, why of cancer, why of disease? But we never
ask ourselves, why not? Is there something magical about the timing of one mans death,
is there some pattern to death in ones family, is there a reason that a man or woman dies
when they are in the best of health? Yes. There is a reason, a purpose, a time. 1Th 3:3-4;
That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are
appointed there-unto. For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we
should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know. We as Christians should
be prepared for death to come, to us and to those that we love, its inevitable and closer
than we think. Times are changing and people are changing.

God promised that the tribulation would be great that will come upon this earth and He
stated that He would also shorten the days. 1Co 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the
time,( Judge not the Lord God for the sins of man, for He stated that, Man is appointed,
once to be born, once to die and then the judgment.) until the Lord come, who both will
bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the
hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. When God decides to tell us of all
things, then we will know the "Whys" of Life. Gods ways are not our ways and his
thoughts are not our thoughts, for His thoughts are with Power and accomplishment. We
cannot judge one another, so how can we judge God in His times and seasons?

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God
must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. The
promises of God to His believers and followers of His Son Jesus are many. Each of these
promises are conditional. But we first must believe that He is. Is there a God? Yes, but
only in your mind and spirit. Faith, is what separates the believer from the un-believer.
God manifests Himself by your faith and not by your desire. Faith will open up doors
and unbelief will close them. The Creator will not force man to believe that He is, nor
will He manifest His presents to prove that He is.
He shows all men His existence thru the flowers, sky, mountains, The air we breath, the
water we drink and the peace that we have within ourselves in the times of trouble. In
stead of wondering weather there is a God in times of trouble, look at the times of
rejoicing, when men are saved from, fire, earthquakes, babes falling from great heights
and survive, people that are dead and come back alive. look at these things, look at the
times that you have almost been killed and some how you made the right turn, gotten on
a different plane, went somewhere else and floods came and washed away all others that
were there, then ask yourself, Is There a God? Deu 11:22-23

The Sins of Our Children.

Many say that we are held accountable for the sins of our children. But is that so? The
Bible teaches that we will be held accountable for every idle word that we speak. That
we must seek out our own salvation, with fear and trembling. There is no verse in
scripture that states that the unruliness of our children will be accounted to us as parents.
Sin is a matter of choice and not hereditary. Its not something that is passed down from
generation to generation. There is of course a curse that can be passed down to our
children, that the scripture talks about.

Specifically, when Jesus was being tried before the Jews and they called for His
execution. Pilot warned them and they said let the curse be upon us and our children.
I’ve noticed that some people try to blame their parents, for the condition of children ,
that end up on drugs, in jail or dead. They say ,if only the mom or dad, did this or that,
then ma-by the child would have turned out different. Is this a true statement or is it an
excuse for the lack of belief and trust in the lessons that the parents tried to teach? I
believe that we should put the responsibility where it belongs, on the individual. The
Bible states , Teach a child in the way of the Lord and the Word shall not depart from
them. Does this mean that the lessons taught will save the child later in life? No, this is a
misunderstanding of scripture.

Again the salvation of each person is based upon their accepting Jesus as their Savior.
The word will not depart from them, but they still must make the commitment to Christ
on their own. Then why does the Bible teach this? That there will be no excuse, when it
comes the time for their judgment. The Bible does state, that if a man stand uprightly
before God, then He will save his entire household. This is true, but, there goes a
responsibility to God, on the part of each child to, endure until the end. Those that are
saved are saved indeed, but those that endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

There is a controversy here in this statement, where some preach, once saved always
saved, but in my studies I find, no where in scripture, where it ever contradicts, endure
unto the end. We must tell our children the truth, they must hold on until death, their
faith in Christ. Well show in scripture that the individual is held accountable for the
word that they have been taught. There is a misconception going around in some
teachings, it states that, everyone will be held accountable for everything in scripture.
But this cant be, for we are only held accountable for what we have been taught. Lets get
into the scripture and sort all this out.

Matthew 27:25, “ Then answered all the people and said,”His blood be on us and our
children.” Mark 13:12 “Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father
the son,and the children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put
to death.” Romans 9:11 For the children being not yet born, neither having done any
good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works,
but of Him that calleth. In Matthew 27:25, The Jews brought a curse upon their
children ,by their obstinance and hatred of Jesus.

They condemned their children to banishment and captivity for generations to come. We
can also bring curses upon our children by the same actions and also inaction's. By not
believing upon the name of Jesus, or by swearing an oath to God out of spite. For the
Bible states, Its better not to make an oath, than to make one and break it. Here in this
verse we can see that the parents weren't held accountable for the sins of their children
but just the opposite, the children had to bear the sins of the parents, hard to believe but
its true. Most of what we see in scripture has to do with prophecy, where the worst
enemies that we will have will be of our own family. Children are born without sin,
many believe the exact opposite, but the Bible is clear on this.

Look at Romans 9:11 ,closely and you will see that Baby’s are born, having done,
neither Good or evil, so children have an equal chance in life to make up their own mind
to do good or to choose evil ,as a way of life. We raise up a child in the word and it shall
not depart from them, but they will still be given a choice. So as you see ,we are not held
accountable for the sins of our children. ars

Thou Shalt Keep Them, O Lord.

Wall Street turmoil now spans globe., The chaos sapped the dollar overnight., The Bank
of Japan on Tuesday morning pumped another 3 trillion yen ($28.7 billion) into money
markets, as part of efforts by central banks worldwide to boost liquidity and bolster
interbank lending., The bailout bill’s failure dealt a “severe blow to Asia markets right
after the Lehman shock plunged,” said Mitsushige Akino., Markets across Asia tumbled
sharply as they opened amid fears that the setback could lead to a broader global
financial crisis. As this world reals over the drop in the money markets, evil men say all
will be well, we will take care of this crisis.
This is a problem caused by global greed and vanity. Men have depended in their own
wills, and knowledge. They have created a monster that will never be satisfied, never
full. “To the chief Musician upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David. Help, LORD; for the
godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.” Where have all
the Godly men gone, the men of faith, trust, and dependence, upon the Lord. Have their
eyes been dulled, have their ears stopped listening, have their mouths been closed, where
they cannot speak praise to the God of mercy, can they not seek out the, wisdom,
council, and direction from the Lord?

There are two reasons for this world financial crisis, The vanity of man and the greed of
lying lips. Men have gone after what others have. They seek to dominate all by failing to
reveal the risk in the worlds stocks, and money market accounts. There is no fast way to
riches, no magic bullet that will make all well, no special speech that will cure all
problems. Men today are saying trust me, for I have the answer, trust me, for I am wise
more than others, trust me, I have a great attitude, and smile upon my face. But the Lord
states of man; “They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and
with a double heart do they speak.

The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:
Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over
us?” “Who is lord over us?” Has not God created all things, from the Heavens, the
mood, sun, stars, and planets? Has not God created man in His Image, and in His
Likeness? Has not God given man dominion over the earth? Has not God given man a
direction for his life? Has not God given man a Savior? Who then is man that the Lord
shall take account of Him, help him, or save him, from his own mistakes? The rich and
powerful, oppress the poor, oppress the weak, oppress the laborers of their factories, and
fields.

As it is written; “And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness
against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against
those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn
aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.” And again;
“And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none
of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.” The oppression of the poor is
coming to an end. There will be no more sorrow, no more worry, no more will others
steal from those that have labored in the factories, the fields, and the ministry.

For the Lord has prophesied of these days, when men shall run too and fro, and their
knowledge shall increase. The knowledge and strength of the wicked shall be abolished.
“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end:
many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” “For the oppression of the
poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in
safety from him that puffeth at him. “And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability
of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.” The day is
coming that all those, in the Lord, shall reign over their oppressors.

They shall shine as stars in the night sky, they shall have power, as the great waves in
the seas, they shall be comforted of the Lord, day, and night forever. The poor shall
inherit the earth, and become rich, the blind shall see, the deaf shall hear, and the lame
shall leap as a heart. No more shall an infant be without life, no more shall a man
become old and die, before his 100th birthday, no more shall money rule over, a man, a
country, or a nation, but all shall look unto the Lord for their substance. For it is not that
we look toward the Lords riches in Heaven, but rather we shall be rich in His words, we
shall be comforted, guided, delivered, instructed, and enlightened in His words.

“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified
seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this
generation for ever. The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.”
This is also coming to an end. No more shall the wicked be heard, no more shall their
words of hatred be recognized in men. No more shall the rich be as kings upon the earth,
but they shall be abased and brought low. No more shall vile men walk the earth, no
more shall a man of wealth steal, nor oppress the poor.

“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is
our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let
us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us
walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and
wantonness, not in strife and envying.” We, as believers in God and His Christ, shall
suffer a short time, then we shall be delivered. We cannot, in these troublesome times, be
dismayed, worried, in riot, anger, or disillusionment. We are the Children of the most
high. We cannot be ruled by money, riches, or wealth, we must be ruled by our wisdom,
and knowledge in Christ. We are in the world, but not of the world.

Do you not believe, even if this worlds stock markets fail, that your Lord will not take
care of you? Do you believe that the Lord will abandon you to poverty, hunger or even
nakedness? Who is rich? The ones with finances, homes, stocks, bonds, properties? I
believe not. For even I have come threw suffering, financial difficulties, pain, afflictions,
and troublesome times. Was it man that relieved or delivered me? No, the Lord was
watching over me and my family. We've never went hungry, naked, or have we ever
been on the street begging for food nor shelter. The Lord is our substance and supply.
Every good gift comes from above, it is peaceful, settled, and always on time. For as it is
written; “And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.” We
must all, who believe in God, remember, even in these times, who we are. We have been
presented to the Lord as Kings and Priest, not by any works we have done, but by the
sacrifice of Christ at Calvary. “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course
of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh
in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times
past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were
by nature the children of wrath, even as others.”

“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we
were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And
hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness
toward us through Christ Jesus.” Why then do you worry, why then do you fret, why
then do you seek out a reprieve, from the knowledge of man, instead of the true wisdom
from God?

Remember these words from the Lord; “ For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the
earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. The steps of a good man are
ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be
utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. I have been young, and
now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. He
is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.” “And wisdom and knowledge
shall be the stability of thy times;”

We have the power over these situations, we have the power of stability in crisis, for we
have the power of prayer, faith, and our trust, in the Lord. Do not no longer be
frightened nor dismayed, for the Lord is my strength, my shield, and my staff. The Lord
is your strength in troublesome times. He is your finances, for He will rebuke the
devourer for your sakes. Then, do not worry, as people of no hope. Do not worry, as
people who run too and fro, seeking signs and wonders. Do not worry, as people seek
refuge from poverty, for the Lord is with you always, He will never forsake you, never
leave you, never despise you, as He will the wicked, and evil men, of no faith. Ars. TSK.
