LEARN HOW TO MAKE THIS BOX
In another KT TUTORIAL coming soon!
STEP 1
Punch out 10 scallop circles from medium to
lightweight double‐sided cardstock
Punches shown: Large scallop = 1 ¾” (Stampin’ Up)
Small scallop = 1” (EK Success)
STEP 2
Use a pencil to mark the center of each scallop circle
STEP 3
Stack all 10 scallop circles on top of each other and
align edges
Use a Big Bite or Crop‐a‐Dile on the smaller hole
punch (1/8”) setting and punch through all 10 scallops
at once
You can also use a hand‐help hole punch and punch
through several scallop circles at once
STEP 4
Stack scallop circles in groups of 2
to 3 * Between each scallop, cut in
toward the center approx. ½”
* Cut lines are shown in black in
the left photo but do not need to
be drawn (Drawn for demo only)
Scallop Rose Continued
STEP 5
Stack all 10 scallop circles and place a color
coordinated brad through the center of all 10 scallop
circles
STEP 6
Turn flower over and compress all layers tightly
Open brad flaps to lock layers into place
STEP 7
Turn flower over and bring up the petals on each
scallop circle towards the center
STEP 8
Compress each layer tightly towards the center
STEP 9
Bring up one or more layers at a time ‐ bending each
layer of petals towards the center and slightly beyond
the center until 9 layers have been bent towards the
center (I like to let the last layer lie flat) * The photo
below shows the first 5 layers bent
towards the center * Attach the rose
with glue dots
