Your assignment
 You are to write a short scene (of at least 300
words) in which you dramatize a meeting
among three unlikely characters.
 You must use dialogue correctly in this

assignment.
Character 1:
 Choose a figure you have
learned about in history. It
might be Patrick Henry, Martin
Luther King, or King Tut.
Character 2: Literature
 Choose a character from literature. It
could be Jay Gatsby, Okonkwo,
Reverend Dimmesdale, Sarah Good,
etc.
Character 3: Pop Culture
Beyonce? Chad
Ochocinco? Sarah Palin?
Taylor Swift? You decide.
Setting
Choose a place to have your
characters meet. A Sonic
drive through, lunch time at
MASE, at a Redbirds game,
etc.
The Situation
 Finally, pick the situation. There needs to be
some sort of conflict going on.
 * A thunderstorm is starting.
 * Beyonce has lost her voice.
 * A food fight breaks out

 Dramatize your situation. Make sure that all
your characters get a chance to speak.
