ONE:
Interior angle, COBBLEPOT, SINCLAIR, and the MYSTERY WOMAN are entering
Cobblepot’s office. TWO BODYGUARDS are here. COBBLEPOT carries the BOOK,
wrapped in its CLOTH.

COBBLEPOT is heading for his COMPUTER on his DESK.

1 COBBLEPOT: …seventy-four million dollars in cash would be

problematic, Mister Sinclair.
2 COBBLEPOT: The book’s owner has directed me to transfer the funds to
his bank in the Grand Cayman, after which I will be happy
to put the folio in your hands.

3 SINCLAIR: Let’s just get this done, Penguin.

TWO:
Angle, COBBLEPOT holding the BOOK as he stands by SINCLAIR, at his computer, to
make the transfer of funds. SINCLAIR is bending to the keyboard.

MYSTERY WOMAN stands a little back, checking the position of the BODYGUARDS.

4 COBBLEPOT: The injury to your arm has damaged your manners, I see.
Input the transfer and we can conclude our business.

5 SINCLAIR: Where is the owner? I was hoping to meet him.

6 COBBLEPOT: He had planned to attend…

THREE:
On MYSTERY WOMAN, tight, reacting – Flay’s not coming, and she still thinks this is
about Flay. We can see a HINT of the BATWOMAN MASK beneath the brim of the hat,
here, perhaps.

7 COBBLEPOT/off: …but for some reason canceled at the last moment…

FOUR:
MYSTERY WOMAN puts a BOOT into the stomach of one of the BODYGUARDS,
taking him totally by surprise. With a free hand, she’s THROWING a SMOKE BOMB
down on the floor.

8 COBBLEPOT/off: …something about having business elsewhere—

9 BODYGUARD: GHUH

10 SFX: fwOOOSHh

FIVE:
COBBLEPOT staggering back into his SEAT, wide-eyed with surprise and alarm, as
SMOKE billows towards him. He’s still holding the BOOK.

SINCLAIR has turned to run, but is being CRACKED in the back of the head by an
INCOMING BATARANG.

11 SINCLAIR: hnh

SIX:
COBBLEPOT falls back into his desk chair, as BATWOMAN comes forward out of the
SMOKE, shucking off the rest of her dress.

What BODYGUARDS we can see are all down on the ground, groaning in pain or
unconscious.

12 BATWOMAN: Hello, Oswald.

13 BATWOMAN: No, don’t get up…

SEVEN:
BATWOMAN goes out the window, BOOK in hand, leaving COBBLEPOT to stare after
her.

14 BATWOMAN: …I can show myself out….
