Neighbors,

The^ Sand Springs City Council has
"conditionally approved" a low-income apart-
ment complex to be built at Highway 97 and 5lst
Street. This apartment complex will cover an
eight (8) acre area bordered to the west by the
Stone Creek Estates III and to the south by the
Shannon Vall ey C ommunity,

I spoke with the Sand Springs Police

Department about the low-income housing con-
plex at 8lst Street and Highway 412 and asked
how the surrounding neighborhoods have been
afficted since it became operational. They indi-
cated that crime rose significantly as far west as
the areas surrounding Sand Springs Lake.

We should also be concerned about aur property

values-how will they be affected by this housing
placement?

If the potential placement of this complex con-

cerns you too, please call our city councilors,
Their decision will affect our neighborhoods and
homes-we deserve to weigh in!

I have called City Hall and was told thqt

Zimmerman Investments LLC should have
received a gront to build the complex last
Friday, May 14th. I was also told that the
