intimidating ogre that falls in love with a beautiful princess. They are interpreted
by Mike Myers and Cameron Diaz respectively. His best friend is a talkative
donkey, interpreted by Eddie Murphy. Shrek was the first animated film on
winning an Oscar award. The company that produced Shrek was Dream Works, a
big competitor for Disney and Pixar. This movie is seen today not only as a
children’s movie, but adults too. Shrek is considered to be the second movie on
the “100 Greatest Family Films” list right after E.T.
