KEVIN A. RING’S REVISED MOTION FOR JUDGMENT OF ACQUITTAL
Pursuant to Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 29(a), and pursuant to this Court’s orderof July 6, 2010, Kevin Ring respectfully revises his motion for this Honorable Court toenter a judgment of acquittal as to each count of the indictment. This motion incorporates allgrounds for acquittal previously raised in Docket Entries 108 & 143, and formally tenders thosematters to this Court for disposition. However, in light of the Court’s directive at the July 6,2010 hearing, Mr. Ring’s revised motion and points and authorities, which supersedes thoseearlier filings, will focus briefing solely on those issues that retain the most urgency in light theSupreme Court’s recent decision in
Skilling v. United States
, No. 08-1394, 2010 U.S. LEXIS5259 (June 24, 2010). This motion is based on the accompanying memorandum of points andauthorities, the First, Fifth and Sixth Amendments to the United States Constitution, and anyother authorities that the Court deems relevant to this motion.
