Ontario ( pronounced /ɒnˈtɛəri.

oʊ/ ) is a province located in east–central

Canada, the largest by population[ and second largest, after Quebec, in to-
tal area. It is a haven for radical Environmental–Maniac–Activists, and
provides a climate of Enviro–Terror for the Green Space Industry.

Ontario is currently under a Liberal government headed by Premier Dal-

ton McGuinty. The present government, first elected in 2003, was re–elected on October 10th, 2007. It is af-
fectionately called the McGuinty–Ontario–Enviro–Terror–Regime.

There are serious issues with the Ontario Minister of the Environment, John Gerretsen, who has been
indiscreet with his close public ties with Prohibition–Maniacs, raising the question about the radical
interests of the Enviro–Lobby taking precedence. Gerretsen’s ministry is directly responsible for on-
tario’s NEEDLESS , SENSELESS , and MALICIOUS prohibition of FEDERALLY LEGAL , SCIENTIFICALLY
SAFE , TOTALLY IRREPLACEABLE , and ABSOLUTELY INDISPENSABLE pest control products.

The McGuinty–Ontario–Enviro–Terror–Regime passed legislation implementing a « cosmetic pesti-

cides ban » that took effect April 22nd, 2009. The requirements of the prohibition are detailed in On-
tario Regulation 63/09 and the Pesticides Act, which was amended by the Cosmetic Pesticides Ban
Act, 2008.

The legislation generally prohibits the sale and use of pest control products for cosmetic ( i.e. « non–
essential » ) purposes ― excluding golf courses, some sports fields, specialty turf, forestry, and ag-
riculture.

The legislation also establishes 11 classes of pest control

products ―

● One class of pest control product may not be sold or used.

● Another class may be sold and used according to label di-
rections without any additional restrictions. ● Another class
of products have both « cosmetic and non–cosmetic » uses,
with specific rules provided for vendors to follow when deal-
ing with potential purchasers, intended to ensure that pur-
chasers do not use these products for cosmetic purposes.

In January 2010, the Green Space Industry outlined the list of CHARGES against the McGuinty–
Ontario–Enviro–Terror–Regime and the Min i str y of t he E n vi r on m en t. Additionally, individual
Enviro–Maniac members of Environmental–Terror–Organizations are also facing FRAUD charges
under the Canadian Criminal Code. The legal challenge is being organized by J e ffr e y L owe s and
M–RE P C om m un i ca ti on s.

The rape and assault of The Green Space Industry by the McGuinty–Ontario–Enviro–Terror–Regime contin-
ues to be endless. it started with pest control products, and it continues now with fertilizers.

ENVIRO–TERROR IN ONTARIO WILL NEVER END !

In 2010, the McGuinty–Ontario–Enviro–Terror–Regime imposed the Municipal Hazardous or Special

Waste Program Plan ( M.H.S.W. ) and Harmonized Sales Tax ( H.S.T. ). Consequently, the Green Space In-
dustry is being forced to spend even more of its limited financial resources on fertilizers.

Recent chatter on Activist’s websites has indicated that they have

picked up support from lawn care companies that have benefited
from the provincial pesticide ban in Ontario.

There has been some suggestion that the sup-

port is coming from the Ontario W eed Man
franchises, but not from W eed Man outside of
Ontario. This seems to contradict the stand
W eed Man has taken in the United States.

Under attack : the Canadian Lawn Care Industry continues an

uphill battle against pesticide regulation. These [ activists ] are not
just the organic lawn care companies; with financial support of the
« organic suppliers ».

They [ the activists ] are expected to take a run at the golfing in-
dustry, starting with their driving ranges.

They see the driving ranges as a way to get on the courses with
their products.

One blog ( the entry has now been removed ) suggested that « doc-
tors enter charity golf tournaments and complain of symptoms re-
lated to exposure to chemical poisonings » to create some pressure.

Early stage concessions by the Golf Industry could spell disaster.

If the activists co–opt the golf membership like the lawn care cus-
tomers, the activists will succeed and start moving forward in other
provinces.

Mr. Lowes stated this morning « it’s time for the [ golf ] industry to
get their head out of their “ bunker ” (edited) ».

Registered Nurses Associations of Ontario are calling for the

« phase out the exemption of golf courses from the pesticide ban in
the Cosmetic Pesticides Act ».

In an interesting development : two individuals that were to be

called as witnesses, have been shown the door by the [ Ontario ]
provincial government.

Recent documents forwarded to the Crown were trying to show the

link between the different NGO’s [ Non–Governmental Organiza-
tions, i.e. Environmental–Terror–Organizations ] on the issue. It
was nice of the David Suzuki Foundation to provide some updated
information and confirm some of the links.

Mr. Lowes will be speaking in W innipeg to members of the provin-

March 18 t h to speak to members of the industry.

« special project » surrounding the « honorary
Canadian observer on the U.S. Pesticide Working
Group ».

As stated in an earlier update …

<< Dr. K. Jean Cottam has made references and unfounded

claims about Jeffrey Lowes and his current actions. After
lengthy discussions and the fact one warning has already been
sent, she has crossed the line. Based on her postings online
and in newspapers, Mr. Lowes will be retaining a local law
firm to seek damages by filing a “ defamation and slander
suit ”. We expect the filing to take place within the next two
weeks. >>

judge, and bite his tongue more often, Mr. Lowes stated ...

In an unrelated matter a recent story in the « Ontario Farmer » on

February 23 [ 2010 ], referred to or implied that the « pesticide in-
dustry » has lost « over $400 million ».

This may have caused some confusion as Mr. Lowes is not repre-
senting the « industry », nor is he supported by the « industry ».

The loss has been incurred by the professional applicators that

have been defending the products made by the « industry », and
are the ones who have been funding the research into the matter.

CropLife Canada defends the interests of

the « industry » that manufactures the
products that were used by the profes-
sional applicators prior to the provincial
ban in Ontario.

They are taking a different approach on

the issue.

Mr. Lowes is sorry about any confusion this may have caused.
CAPE–Life is NOT defending the end–users, those that purchase
and apply its pest control products ... those being used in the
Modern Professional Lawn Care Industry.

By its inaction, CAPE–Life is fostering the ADVANCEMENT of the

Enviro–Terror–Movement. It DOES NOT support the end–users !

By its inaction, CAPE–Life is demonstrating its GREATER CON-

CERN for Agriculture, an industry that uses the very same pest
control products as the Professional Lawn Care Industry.

By its inaction, CAPE–Life supports the prohibition of FEDERALLY

LEGAL, SCIENTIFICALLY SAFE, TOTALLY IRREPLACEABLE, and
ABSOLUTELY INDISPENSABLE conventional pest control products.

Sadly, CAPE–Life SUPPORTS ENVIRONMENTAL TERROR.

Despite representing a multi–billion dollar industry, CAPE–Life

WILL NOT DEFEND the end–users, those that purchase and apply
its pest control products !

S UBJECT : I NJUNCTION

M–REP is retaining a firm to handle the filing of an INJUNCTION

against Ontario’s Cosmetic Pesticide Ban Act and Regulations by
April 15 t h [ 2010 ], provided there is funding to pay the lawyers for
the action. If the filing fails, it will be refilled again after the sum-
mons issued on the criminal charges is served.

This will be the last effort ahead of the civil litigation against the ac-
tivists groups and the Government of Ontario. Those interested in
supporting the effort should contact M–REP BEFORE March 15 t h .
 My children will benefit from the work I do today.

William H. Gathercole is a principal FOUNDER of the Modern Professional Lawn Care Industry in BOTH Ontario and
Quebec. He holds a degree in Horticulture from the UNIVERSITY OF GUELPH, and another pure and applied sci-
ence degree from McGILL UNIVERSITY. He has worked in virtually all aspects of the GREEN SPACE INDUSTRY, in-
cluding GOLF and PROFESSIONAL LAWN CARE, and has served in public affairs, workplace safety, and environ-
mental compliance. Mr. Gathercole has supervised, consulted, programmed, and/or overseen the execution of
HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of pest control applications in the urban landscape. He has trained, instructed, and
consulted with THOUSANDS of turf managers and technicians. Mr. Gathercole has also been an agricultural
agronomist. For many years, Mr. Gathercole was a contributing columnist for TURF & Recreation Magazine, Can-
ada’s Turf and Grounds Maintenance Authority.

Mr. Gathercole has followed the evolution of ENVIRONMENTAL–TERRORISM for over a quarter–century. His in-
volvement in Environmental issues reached a fevered pitch in the 1990s, when he orchestrated, with his col-
leagues, legal action against the prohibition of pest control products in the Town of Hudson, Quebec. For FIFTEEN
YEARS, the strategies designed and implemented by Mr. Gathercole and his colleagues guaranteed the control of
Enviro–Terror for the entire Modern Green Space Industry across Canada. Mr. Gathercole is personally credited for
crafting the Golf Industry Exception Status, that endures to this day. He is also the creator of the signs that are
now used for posting after application. Although he can be accused of being Anti–Environment–Movement, he is,
in fact, simply a strong advocate FOR the Modern Green Space Industry. However, this position has not precluded
him from criticizing the Green Space Industry itself. Nonetheless, his vast knowledge of our long journey with En-
vironmental issues is UNDENIABLE. ( Hopefully ! )

Force Of Nature is the instrument of National Organization Responding Against Huje that harm the Green Space
Industry ( NORAHG ) by concocting statements and activities seeking to prohibit FEDERALLY LEGAL, SCIENTIFI-
CALLY SAFE, TOTALLY IRREPLACEABLE, and ABSOLUTELY INDISPENSABLE conventional pest control products.
