Homework 2 Students will be divided into groups and will be allotted a comprehensive case study related to Group
the subject. The group members will come with solution, which will be questioned by the rest of
the class and the faculty member.
Homework 3 Students are expected to draft a report on Innovations reported in media (E-Media, Print Media Individual
and Tv) or in products (variants/packaging) in the year 2009-10. Every student should report 5
such innovations and comment on 1)The advantages to the organization 2)The advantages to the
society 3)Limitations if any.
Homework 4 Students are supposed to study some of the product failures from FMCG and Automobile Individual
industry. They are to make an analysis that: Why theses offerings were failed in the market? what
were the steps taken by the company to reposition them if any? If you were the product and brand
manager, how would you have renovated them using maximum innovation and creativity? (New
marketing plan can be prepared, new ads can be made, new packaging can be introduced etc.)
Homework 1 Identify 2 advertisements of a product/service which you think are not much effective. What Individual
according to you are the reasons for their ineffectiveness? Make/redesign one print or one video
ad for the same so as to improve them than before. Ads should be as creative as possible. Ads
will be shown in class and questions will be asked.
*Normally all the homeworks shall be submitted online but in special courses where homeworks cannot be submited online , the insructor can edit the mode of submission while

further improvements that what can be done by them to inculcate the spirit of innovation and creativity in their
organizational culture and product design
