Workforce Links – Trustworthiness
in the Workplace
Sandra Day, United States Probation Officer and "Offender Workforce
Development Specialist", will be our speaker.  She will be assisted by other
caring, dedicated TOP OFFICIALS in the NM Corrections Dept. as well! She
will talk about trustworthiness in the workplace and ethical behavior.  Get
answers to your questions.  Invite those you know who are looking for a job or
want to make more money at their current job.  This meeting is for everyone!
Workforce Links is a collaboration of State, Federal, City,
County, CYFD, and non-profit organizations whose goal is to help
returning citizens find and keep employment. Wings for L.I.F.E.
is a part of this collaboration, and every 2nd Monday of each
month, representative(s) from Workforce Links will be the
speaker(s) at Wings for L.I.F.E. We aren’t aware of any
collaboration like this in the country. Another unique aspect of
this collaboration is that the family members of the returning
citizens and those on probation and parole are invited and
encouraged to attend Wings for L.I.F.E. with their loved one!

The focus of Wings for L.I.F.E. is to promote and strengthen healthy family relationships
and communication.  Each night we’ll share a delicious dinner together, learn something
new, and have fun!  Don’t miss it. High Noon Restaurant & Saloon has generously
offered to provide dinner each month.  Domino’s Pizza continues to be a monthly
sponsor too, along with Pepper’s Ole’ Fashion BBQ and Cross of Hope Lutheran
Koinonia Group, and we are always looking for new dinner sponsors.

Wings is also collaborating with New Heart, Inc. We offer walking groups before
Wings for L.I.F.E. in the Spring and Fall, provide healthy and nutritious hints and
cooking ideas, and a have activities and crafts for children! Wings for L.I.F.E. is
expanding and growing and we hope that YOU will join us!

activities for kids.
