IamgratefultotheAlmightyGodwhograntedmetheopportunitytoappearbeforethisworldassemblyonceagain.IwishtobeginbycommemoratingthosewholosttheirlivesinthehorriblefloodinPakistanandexpressmyheartfeltsympathywiththefamilieswholosttheirlovedonesaswellaswiththepeopleandthegovernment
of
Pakistan.Iurgeeveryonetoassisttheirfellowmenandwomenasahumaneduty.LetmethankH.E.Mr.AliAbdussalamTreki,thePresident
of
thehesixty-fourthsession
of
theUnitedNationsGeneralAssembly,forallhiseffortsduringhistenure.IalsowouldliketocongratulateH.E.Mr.JosephDeiss,thePresident
of
thesixty-fifthsession
of
theUnitedNationsGeneralAssemblyandwishhimallsuccess.Inthepastyears,Ispoketoyouaboutsome
of
thehopesandconcerns,includingfamilycrises,security,humandignity,worldeconomy,climatechangeaswellastheaspirationforjusticeandlastingpeace.Afteraboutonehundredyears
of
domination,thesystem
of
Capitalismandtheexistingworldorderhasprovedtobeunabletoprovideappropriatesolutiontotheproblems
of
societies,thuscomingtoanend.Ishalltrytoexaminethetwomaincauses
of
thisfailureandpicturesomefeatures
of
theidealfutureorder.

A)AttitudesandBeliefs
Asyouarewellaware,thedivineprophetshadthemissiontocalleveryonetomonotheism,loveandjusticeandshowmankindthepathtoprosperity.Theyinvitementocontemplationandknowledgeinordertobetterappreciatethetruthandtoavoidatheismandegoism.Theverynature
of
themessage
of
allprophetsisoneandthesame.Everymessengerendorsedthemessengerbeforehimandgavegladtidingsabouttheprophettocome,andpresentedamorecompleteversion
of
thereligioninaccordancewiththecapacity
of
themanatthetime.Thiscontinueduptothelastmessenger
of
Godwhopresentedtheperfectandallinclusivereligion.Inoppositiontothat,theegotistandthegreedystoodupagainstthisclearcall,revoltingagainstthemessage.NimrodcounteredHazratAbraham,PharaohcounteredHazratMosesandthegreedycounteredHazratJesusChristandHazratMohammad(Peacebeuponthemall).Intherecentcenturies,thehumanethicsandvalueshavebeenrejectedasacauseforbackwardness.Theywereevenportrayedasopposingwisdomandsciencebecause
of
theearlierinflictiononmanbytheproclaimers
of
religioninthedarkages
of
theWestMan'sdisconnectionfromHeavendetachedhimfromhistrueself.Manwithhispotentialsforunderstandingthesecrets
of
theuniverse,hisinstinctforseekingtruth,hisaspirationsforjusticeandperfection,hisquestforbeautyandpurityandhiscapacitytorepresentGodonearthwasreducedtoacreaturelimitedtothematerialisticworldwithamissiontomaximizeindividualisticpleasures.Humaninstinct,then,replacedtruehumannature.Humanbeingsandnationswereconsideredrivalsandthehappiness
of
anindividualoranationwasdefinedincollisionwith,andeliminationorsuppression
of
others.Constructiveevolutionarycooperationwasreplacedwithadestructivestruggleforsurvival.Thelustforcapitalanddominationreplacedmonotheismwhichisthegatetoloveandunity.Thiswidespreadclash
of
theegoistwiththedivinevaluesgavewaytoslaveryandcolonialism.Alargeportion
of
theworldcameunderthedomination
of
afewwesternStates.Tens
of
millions
of
peopleweretakentoslaveryandtens
of
millions
of
familieswereshatteredasaresult.
All
theresources,therightsandthecultures
of
thecolonizednationswereplundered.Landswereoccupiedandtheindigenouspeoplewerehumiliatedandmass-murdered.Yet,nationsroseup,colonialismwasalienatedandtheindependence
of
thenationswasrecognized.Thus,thehopeforrespect,prosperityandsecuritywasrevivedamongstnations.Inthebeginning
of
thepastcenturynicetalksaboutfreedom,
