OUR SPEAKER
Molly A. O’Neill is currently a Vice
President at CGI Federal where she
serves as the Industry Lead for the
Energy and Environment sector. She
is also a Fellow at CGI’s Initiative for
Collaborative Government. Beyond
her roles at CGI, Ms. O’Neill
continues to work on cross
government technology initiatives as
an elected Fellow at the National
Academy of Public Administration
(NAPA) and as a Principal and
Strategic Advisor for Government
Executives (SAGE) with the
Partnership for Public Service.
Previously, Ms. O’Neill was the Chief
Information Officer of the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA). In her role at EPA, she was
responsible for the Agency’s
information technology infrastructure,
data collection and exchange,
information technology policies,
enterprise architecture, information
security and privacy, and information
quality program. She also
championed innovation around
transparency of data, data sharing
and collaboration but is best known
for her role as a Web 2.0 visionary,
helping her colleagues at EPA and
elsewhere to understand how that
emerging technology might apply to
government. Ms. O’Neill continues to
be an active participant and respected
advisor on Gov 2.0 initiatives for US
Federal Government.
