http://gema.de/ German version of the RIAA, responsible for Youtube censoring music videos in Germany:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/pda/2009/apr/01/youtube-digital-music-and-audio http://www.nytimes.com
/2009/04/03/technology/internet/03youtube.html?_r=1 Their business model is based on extorting fees from
anyone who is playing any music in public. Every public performance of any copyrighted work has to be
announced to them and subsequently paid.
http://www.gvu.de/ German Federation against Copyright Theft They like to exploit the legal system to it's
limits in order to get pirates sued for money. Also known for spouting takedown notices for shit they don't even
hold the copyright for. http://www.handelsblatt.com/technologie/it-internet/fremde-videos-geloescht-
uebereifrige-urheberrechts-polizei-erleidet-pr-gau;2633435 (German)
http://www.digiprotect.org/ Pirate hunters who do the dirty work for copyright lawyers all over the world. Also
worked for the infamous Andrew Crossley of ACS:Law. Of course also for a fuckton of German copyright
extortion lawyers (just google digiprotect and shit brix: http://www.google.com/search?q=digiprotect )

Copyright lawyers that live off ACS-like extortion schemes (This business model is flourishing here, google
"Abmahnung", which is the German word for ACS-style pre-settlement letters). A list of German copyright
extortion lawyers: http://karmannboden.wordpress.com/2009/07/01/aktualisierte-liste-der-abmahnanwalte/

(Not so) amusing fact: Googling the above extortion lawyers usually brought up a fuckton of forum posts of people
who got their funny letters and as much legal advice on how to deal with it long before the actual lawyer's website.
There's even several law firms which specialized on legal advice in such cases.
In Germany, fax machines are still very widespread.
Dox are easily obtainable via a website. Just look for the legally required imprint ("Impressum" in German), if
the website is owned by a German and doesn't have one, get a lawyer and extort some money from them.
.de-domains require a fuckton of personal info on the registrant. A quick whois will usually provide full dox on
the domain's owner.
