WHY IS ORGANISATIONAL
CLIMATE IMPORTANT?
 Davidson, Michael Cameron Gordon in their study of “Organizational Climate
and its Influence upon Performance.” Studied Australian Hotels and found
that there is a direct link between organisational climate and financial
performance.
 Many studies on organizational climate have revealed the same conclusion.

organisational climate.

• Mean is calculated into percentages and used in


discussion by placing it in different ranges.
• Average mean scores are calculated to find conclusions

employees. Resulting in greater work performance

employees. Resulting in poorer work performance.
These are the areas that need addressing and
strategies need to be deployed for improvement.
