3ch at beginning of round counts as 1dc

Using brown yarn

Make a magic loop
Round 1: 3ch. Make 11 dc into centre of loop, sl st into 3rd of 3ch (12dc) pull magic
loop closed.
Round 2: 3ch. Dc into same st as 3ch. 2dc into each st round. sl st into 3rd of 3ch (24
dc)
Round 3: 3ch. 1dc into each st round, sl st into 3rd of 3ch (24dc)
Round 4: 3ch. *dc 2 tog, 1dc in next repeat from * round. sl st into 3rd of 3ch (16dc)
Round 5: 1ch, sc into each st, sl st into 1ch.
Fasten off

Topping
Using cream yarn
Make a magic loop

ch 8 loosely, sl st in 2nd ch from hook.

Sl st in next ch. Sl st in next ch, ch 3, sl st in same ch. Sl st in next ch.
Sl st in next ch. Sl st in next ch, ch 3, sl st in same ch. Sl st in next ch.
3 sc in last ch (to turn the corner).

Working into the other side of the starting chain:

Sl st in next ch. Sl st in next ch, ch 3, sl st in same ch. Sl st in next ch.
Sl st in next ch. Sl st in next ch, ch 3, sl st in same ch. Sl st in next ch.
Sl st in last ch.
Fasten off, leaving long end of yarn.

Berry
Make a magic ring, ch 1.
Rnd 1: 4 sc in magic ring. (4 st)
Join with sl st to next st. Fasten off, leaving long end of yarn
