Which kind of salt makes the temperature of boiling

water increase the most?

does this kind of salt increase the temperature the most.”

I think the Ice cream salt will make the boiling water
increase the most because they are bigger, and have
more power.

Ice cream salt, Sea salt, Iodized salt, 2 quart pot, 3 quarts
of distilled water, measuring spoons, stirring spoon,
thermometer, and a measuring cup.

The temperature was the same; none of the kinds of salts

changed the temperature of the boiling water the most.

All three kinds of salt made the boiling water increase
only 3 . The temperature of the boiling water without salt
was 205 .

I thought the Ice cream salt would make the temperature

of the boiling water increase the most, but all salts were
equal. I think the Ice cream salt should have made the
temperature add on more.

First, you fill a 2 quart pot with 1 quart of distilled water.

Place the pot on the stove, and turn it on. Let it boil
completely.

Use the thermometer to measure the temperature of the

boiling water. Record.

Start with the Iodized salt, level out a teaspoon.

Pour the teaspoon of salt in the 2 quart pot, and stir.

Take the temperature of the boiling water with the salt.
Record.

Repeat now with the Sea salt and Ice cream salt.
