ALD (Exile) Statement on the release ofDaw Aung San Suu Kyi

We, ALD (Exile) praised the release of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi on Saturday, a pro-democracy
leader in Burma, who has been in house arrest.

We believe that she has been continuing her brave fight for Democracy, Peace, Justice and
change Burma.

We strongly urge the military junta in Burma to release all remaining political prisoners
immediately.

We call for the regime leaders to stop from military junta's repressive policies and begin an
inclusive dialogue with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and ethnic leaders for national reconciliation
process.

We wish Daw Aung San Suu Kyi has been leading the Burma to establish a genuine federal
system and political equality among all ethnic nationalities in Burma.
