Recently, CB2 passed its first resolution on NYU’s proposed expansion. The resolution clearly objects to the University’s intention to acquire the City-owned parkland strips on the Superblocks, and supports the transfer of these open spaces to the NYC Department of Parks.
Join us on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 1pm on LaGuardia Place in front of the statue to help preserve these treasured areas of open space, including LaGuardia Community Garden, Mercer-Houston Dog Run, LaGuardia Park, Mercer Playground and Mercer Park.
