DEVELOPING TEAMWORK

OUR SPIRITUAL TEACHER ONCE GAVE

A talk about how people can work
together to accomplish noble goals.
1.A good leader has good motives. People
who help others even without any
materials reward accept the hardship that
comes with the responsibility. They
exercise compassion; they desire to
alleviate the suffering of others.
Real Intention
Instead of judging external actions, they look
into heart to understand the situation.
it’s easier to understand a man’s decision if you
know his real intention. (if you have leader
whose motives aren’t good, following him
becomes difficult. So choosing a worthy
leader is necessary.)
2. Learn to accept the leader’s strategy. A ship must
follow its captain just as a symphony takes its cue
from a conductor. Respect your leader and learn to
follow him.
3. Don’t keep anger in your heart. Don’t agree
grudgingly then reject what you have agreed to do.
Follow the plan and work to achieve your goal.
4. Deal with the issues and learn to resolve problems
without resorting to destructive criticism. A chinese
saying goes: criticize your self three times a day.
Don’t mention the imperfection of other individuals.”
Imperfections
Tackle problems objectively. Pointing out
imperfections won’t help you achieve your
goal. Offer practical and constructive
criticism. This approach will strengthen
relationships among members of the team.
5.Don’t waste precious getting stuck in an
argument. Spare yourself from nonsense.
Discipline the mind and the tongue!
It is during harsh times that you learn the true
colors of people, and it is also during these times
that you find out there is hope for the word.-
