Asconsumers set out their stall or theyear ahead, with cut-backs, resolutionsand new ound indulgences, January isoten seen as a statement o intent orthe ollowing 11 months.We hope to be no dierent, and Ithink we’ve done a airly good job withwhat eels like our most weighty, en-tertaining and artully designed issueyet. Oh, and ater the endless delays,(and yes, we mean it when we say itthis time), our iPad app is coming outover the next month too.But to be honest, it’s something o a miracle this issue was even nished.With hal the team waylaid by u;most o us seemingly recovering thenstruck down oten a second and thirdtime, each with quite the vengeance.We have, though, battled on.We have great condence 2011holds a lot in store or

,and we’ll be looking to pass on everyounce o excitement to you. Te app isthe start o it all, and boy are we look-ing orward to getting it into the publicdomain, both on the iPad, and in theMac App Store, plus our upcoming newweb reader.Tat’s not the end o it though,while the magazine will always be ourpriority, we’ve some other excitingprojects coming up too. Developmentis set to ramp up on the second lmwe’re helping to produce, our recordlabel will be putting out its rst ullrelease, while our creative agency anddigital publishing platorm are goingrom strength to strength as well.Te age o megalithic conglom-erates ruling the media industry iscertainly ar rom over, but now morethan ever, small indies have a realchance to make a signicant impact.With our publishing platorm we’ll begoing nose-to-nose with Adobe andWoodWing, and we’ve an even morecompelling product making a chargeor the line.We wish you all a lot o luck andsuccess or 2011, while we’ll certainlybe pushing orward at breakneck speedourselves.
