RETURNING STUDENTS
BILLING
Returning/ continuing student Invoices shall be couriered to the home addresses by the last week of
March. In case you do not receive these invoices by March 31, 2010, kindly contact the BUSINESS
OFFICE immediately.
DUE DATE
Returning / continuing student fee payments are due on May 31.
For returning/continuing students, whose fees are not received by May 31, their seats will not be
guaranteed for the next year. They will be moved to the wait list.
Their seats will be secured on first come first serve basis as and when the payments are received.
NEW STUDENTS
BILLING
New students whose application is received and accepted, Invoices shall be couriered to the home
address within 5 calendar days.
DUE DATES
For new students, Registration and the Capital fees are due within 10 calendar days of the invoicing.
The tuition fee is due within 30 calendar days of invoicing.
For new students, whose fees are not received by the due dates, their seats will not be secured.
They will be moved to the wait list.

Application, Registration and Capital fees are due in full regardless of the enrollment date.
All fees for the late enrolments are due within 10 calendar days of invoicing.

PAYMENTS
Fees are payable annually.
Seats in the grade level is guaranteed and confirmed only on receipt of the fees by the due date. The
confirmation is on first come first serve basis.
OTHER BANK CHARGES
Any bank charges for wire transfers, collecting out station checks/drafts, charges on bounced checks,
etc. is the responsibility of the parents.
OVERDUE PAYMENTS
Any fees not paid by the due date are charged a Late Fee @ 15% per annum between due date and date
received. For Wire transfers, the date on which the amount is credited to our bank account will be
considered the date received.
Failure to settle fees due within an allotted time may result in the student not being permitted to attend
classes and/or withholding the student’s report cards and academic records. If a student withdraws
with a balance due to the school, the student’s records are not forwarded until all arrears, including any
outstanding late fees, are paid.
FEE REFUND POLICY
Refunds are available, upon written request as follows:
• Application fee: Not refundable
• Registration fee: Not refundable
• Capital fee : Not refundable
• Tuition fees:
For new or returning students for whom the tuition fees for the year have been paid and
subsequently provide written notification of withdrawal to the AISC admissions office, refund
may be provided as follows:
If written notice of withdrawal is received
by November 13th , 2010: and whose last day of school will be on or before last day of
Quarter 2 ‐ 50% of the Tuition Fee will be refunded.
after November 13th , 2010: and/or whose last day of school is after the last day of
Quarter 2 ‐ no refund is applicable.

MODE OF PAYMENT
ALL FEES OTHER THAN CAPITAL FEES MUST BE PAID IN U.S. DOLLARS VIA BANK DRAFT, WIRE
TRANSFER OR CHECK (payable via a Bank in U.S). Make checks payable to “AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL
SCHOOL‐CHENNAI”. Personal dollar checks payable in the U.S.A. are also accepted. Cash payments are
not accepted.
