INTERNET

BANKING SYSTEM
 The Traditional way of maintaining details of a
user in a bank was to enter the details and
record them. Every time the user need to
perform some transactions he has to go to bank
and perform the necessary actions, which may
not be so feasible all the time. It may be a
hard-hitting task for the users and the bankers
too.
 The project gives real life understanding of
Internet banking and activities performed by
various roles in the supply chain. Here, we
provide an automation for banking system
through Internet. Internet banking system
project captures activities performed by
different roles in real life banking which
provides enhanced techniques for
maintaining the required information up- to-
date, which results in efficiency
 System Analysis is a management technique,
which helps in designing a new system or
improving an existing system. System Analysis
is the process of gathering and interpreting
facts, diagnosing problems (if any), using
information to recommend improvements to
the system. There are four basic elements of
system analysis: - Output, Input, Files,
processes.
 A feasibility study is carried out to select the
best system that meets the performance
requirements. Feasibility is the determination
of whether or not project is worth doing
 To identify the deficiencies in the current
system
 To determine objectives of the proposed
system
 To acquire a sense of scope of the system
 To identify the responsible users
 To determine whether it is feasible to
develop the new system
 The study is conducted to evaluate the
possibility of IB systems to produce the
desired outputs .

 Technical
 Economic
 Operational
 The proposed system is technically feasibility
because of following reason:

 The organization want to build the computer

based system for data.
 This system also able to produce the required
the report in least time.
 Maintained into the digital form so that
maintaining of information will gone to Be
easy and retrieval of the information is fast.
After converting data into the digital form
cost of stationary is saved.

 This system has also the facility to

communication among the terminals to
distant locations.
 The cost of the system development is not
much because of module
/department wise automation
 Then Organization wants to implement wise
so this system cannot take a heavy amount
to implement the system into the form of
hardware investment
 The proposed system is economic, as it will
reduce the time investment in running the
daily transaction
 What changes will be brought with the system?
 What organizational structures are distributed?
 What new skills will be required?
 The system reduce the workload of the staff
because on a mouse click he / she the desired
result, work can be done with the help of keyboard
and mouse watching the computer screen not on
the paper.

 The system will be build on the technology of GUI

so that interaction to the system not be boring as
like writing / preparing / maintaining data into the
form of the manual paper. Users that work into the
GUI environment works more interestingly than
the paper based.
 People are inherently resistant to change,
and computers have been known to facilitate
change . An adverse reaction and resistance
is always expected from the user staff. Our
case is different .The users get the graphical
displays of information which is quickly
understandable than capturing the
information from reports
 The Internet banking system consists of
following modules :
 Safety of the user incredenitials.
 Login Process: This module allows valid
customers to access the functionalities
provided by the bank.
 Balance Enquiry: This module maintains the
balance details of a particular account
 Update Profile: This module allows the
customer to update profile of their account.
 Funds Transfer: This module allows the
customers to transfer funds from one account
to another within the same bank.
 Change of Password: This module allows
customers to change their password.
 Mini Statements: This module allows
customers to view their transaction details.
 Providing UserName, Password and other
information required for the users to start an
account.
 Starting Sessions
 Managing Data Backup
 Ending session
 Login
 Selecting the Account
 Balance Enquiry
 Funds Transfer
 Request for cheque book
 Mini statements
 The corporate users include Industrialists,
Entrepreneur, Organizations and Academicians etc.
 Selecting the Account
 Balance Enquiry
 Funds Transfer
 Request for cheque book
 Mini statements
 Secure access of confidential data (user’s details).
 24 X 7 availability
 Better component design to get better performance
at peak time.
 Consistency of the system
 Reducing the Time and Space complexities
 Saving of precious time and resources
 The proposed system is better in use and user
friendly as it generates proper message at run time
 Apache Tomcat 6.0.18 Server: Apache Tomcat
is a Servlet container developed by the Apache
Software Foundation (ASF). Tomcat
implements the Java Servlet and the
JavaServer Pages (JSP) specifications from
Sun Microsystems, and provides a "pure Java"
HTTP web server environment for Java code to
run
 This work consists of how you design our
software .

Functional oriented
 DFD
 Structure chart

Object oriented
 Class diagram
 Use case diagrams
 This part consists of how the have been done
testing and what may be the problems we
encounter when went with the two types of
methods.

 i.e Functional oriented and Object Oriented..
