Chairman: Robert A. Schultz Vice Chairman: Donald D. Shaw
Secretary: Michele Moore Treasurer: Edward A. Wojcik
Membership Chairman: Carol Ann Peitranowicz
Resolutions Committee Chairman: Lee Burke
RESOLUTIONS COMMITTEE: At our August meeting, the members present
voted unanimously for the creation of a new Resolutions Committee.
The Resolutions Committee will be headed by a Committee Chairman who
will be a member of the Chapter's Executive Committee. Unanimously
elected to this new office is Miss Lee Burke who is expected to fill
two committee positions with appointments from the Chapter's active
membership list within the next week.
LAST ISSUE: This will be the last issue sent to persons who have not
joined the Chapter under one of our two membership plans or who have
not subscribed to the Chapter's monthly bulletin.
APATHY: Chairman Bob Schultz has spoken out countless times against
the apathy of the American people. Now, he says, he has become great-
ly disappointed by the response, or rather lack of response, from YAF
members in the area. "If even YAF members are apathetic, we might as
well throw in the towel right now," declared Treasurer Ed Wojcik.
Membership Chairman Carol Ann Pietranowicz reports that average atten-
dance at Chapter meetings has averaged five out of a possible thirty.
OPPOSITION TO THE CONDUCT OF THE IN VIET NAM: Chairman Schultz has
cautioned members (who attend meetings) against giving total support
to President Johnson's policies in Viet Nam ",,,until we know just how
far the President is willing to go." If Johnson continues the "Let's
get in there and tie" policy of his predecessor, we had better look
elsewhere for pro-American leadership.
In answer to a question as to what he thought of recent reports
that Johnson could have brought the war to a successful conclusion
before the 1964 election, but chose not to for his own political gain,
Schultz said, "If this is true, then Johnson is guilty of both murder
and treason, He sends our professional military men to a slaughter
just because the lace-panty pinkos in the State Department want to
insure our eventual downfall. If we kill off our majors and captains
now, in fifteen to twenty years, we'll have no generals! I doubt that
any man.in Johnson's position could fail to see that he is surrounded
by pink advisors, yet he has done little, if anything, to replace them
with loyal Americans."
THINK ...and anyone who does can plainly see that we will fight a war
th Red China within the next 25 years...why not fight it now when
we can still win? Just a few WWII block-busters in the right places
would set Red China's nuclear aspirations back a good five years.PREDICTIO

bably use germ warfare.
carrying out a campaign against two of our staunchest allies: The Re~
public of South Africa and Australia, Why? On the surface, it might
seem as if the "liberals" were truly interested in the racial "prob=
lems" (which their counterparts overseas undoubtedly had a hand in
creating) in these countries -= but one look at the American Opinion
Scoreboard Map (July-August 1965) will show the real reason: Communist
control and/or influence in these two countries is much lower than that
fn the United States! Thus, the "liberals" must destroy these two
governments lest a few of us "right-wing extremists" get ideas about

GOVERNOR SCRANTON of Pennsylvania has said recently that under the
strong leadership" of Ray Bliss, splinter groups such as Barry Gold~
water's Free Society Association, would fail. Governor Scranton had
better do some homework on history and political science. The Re~
publican Party will more likely fail, thus ending our two-party system,
which has probably outlived its usefulness anyway. This will bring
about the necessity for coalition governments common to other nations.
THE LOS ANGELES RIOTS: Negro "leader" Dr.? Martin Luther King (known
to some as "Ghengl King) has said that the insurrection in Los
Angeles was caused because the poor downtrodden, suppressed masses
have been victimized, etc, etc. etc. Even an ultra-liberal NYC news-
paper in an editorial called King!s dribblings "pious tripe." If
these poor downtrodden masses would work for recognition (as has
every other minority group in the United States, including, among
others, Poles, Italians, Germans, Mexicans, and many others) instead
of demonstrating and rioting, they might get somewhere.

NEW IDEA FOR THE DRAFT BOARD: Why not draft the students who par-
ticipate in the teach-ins? And while we're at it, let's check the
status of their professors.
OMEGA J: The successor of the Inter-American Defense Organization
has been formed. Appointments are now being made to fill vacancies.
