SCRIPT FOR CHAIR OF THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN TO CONVENE EMERGENCY MEETING ‘As Chaif of the Town of Adams Board of Selectmen, I have called an emergency meeting of the Board today because of allegations involving the disruption today of the operations and administration of the Town by a member of the Board of Selectmen; alleged violations of M.GL.c. 150E, the Commonwealth's collective bargaining act by a member of the Board of Selectmen; and the alleged unlawful release of confidential information by a member of the Board of Selectmen. Because these matters have to be addressed immediately in order to prevent further potential liability to the Town of Adams, I hereby convene this meeting pursuant to the emergency agenda posted earlier this afternoon and the authority vested in me as Chairman of the Board of Selectmen. Inow request that the Town Administrator distribute the memorandum prepared by the Director of the Council on Aging to each member of the Board of Selectmen for their review and consideration.
