annual showcase year we’ll produce one on high schools,” said Peter
Cowley, director of school performance studies at the

Alberta’s elementary schools.
The Strathmore area, which includes Chestermere,
Langdon, and Carseland, doesn’t have any schools
that are showing statistically significant improvement
in their overall ratings. There are three that are show-

“If we’re talking about Strathmore as an area, we’re
talking about an area where there doesn’t seem to
be any real improvement at any of the schools,” said
Cowley.

schools are doing better than Strathmore, and there
is a lot of improvement to be made in the Strathmore
area.
“In the case of St. Gabriel the Archangel in Chester-

the parents, the educators and the students at the
school,” said Cowley.

right costumes for specific pieces, as well as Sonya Koustrup
who was overseeing her eighth carnival as the club’s coach.
