2011 Budget Impact Survey

The New York State School Boards Association surveyed all 679 public school superintendents on the impact of Gov.
Andrew Cuomo’s proposed executive budget on 2011-12 school district budgets. A total of 319 superintendents, or
47 percent, responded. BOCES and special act district superintendents were not surveyed, since their districts do not
receive direct state aid payments. The survey was conducted between March 10 and March 22, 2011.
(Percentages may not add up to 100 percent in every question due to rounding).
