2 to 4 players

Materials: plastic coins, 4 pet shop mats, animal cards, mystery cards, coin die

Directions:
1. Put the animal cards face-up in view of all players. Place
the mystery cards in a pile facedown.
2. Each player takes a pet shop mat.
3. Choose a player to act as the banker.
4. Roll the die to determine who goes first. The coin with the
highest value wins and play continues clockwise.
5. On a player’s turn they can 1.) roll the die, say the coin’s
name and value, and collect that plastic coin OR 2.) buy a pet
and place their chosen pet on their pet shop mat. The banker
will take the money and give change.
6. If a player rolls ‘Mystery Card’ they read the card and
follow the directions, then put the card on the bottom of the
stack. If a player does not have enough money, they can pay
all they have.
6. The winner is the first player to fill his or her pet shop.

* 4 copies of the pet shop mat
* 2 copies of animal cards (pages 3 & 4), cut out
* mystery cards, cut out
* optional:2 copies of mystery card backs (page 7)
* coin die , cut out, laminate, then assemble
2. Supply plastic coins
3. Optional: Bank label below
