Introduction

Welcome aboard the one and
only P
 leasure Tendency,
PsikeTV’s massive and
luxurious traveling pleasure
cruiser. The ship houses
casinos, restaurants, game
rooms, theaters, gardens,
cabins, shopping, plazas, and
most notably the dungeon of
Suit Up! It makes its way
between the polities, visiting a
different polity every month.

What is Suit Up? S
 uit Up is a
dungeon running, card
collecting, weapon building,
try not to die game inspired by
PsikeTV’s hit show “The
MAZE”. Pay a ticket to enter the dungeon, then make your way through it to find a
treasure you’ve been given a clue to, and maybe some other things along the way. But
be careful, mechanical guardians wander the dungeon hunting and will attack on
sight. If you can get in, avoid getting taken down, and get back out, the rewards you
found are yours to keep, from weapon parts (also referred to as Fragments) to Shards,
an in game currency.

Think you wanna give it a try? Go for it, your first ticket is free. Other tickets you can
buy with Shards, receive in the dungeon, or find scattered across the galaxy, where
they’ve been hidden by Clements and crew. So get in there, collect cards, and Suit Up!

How to Play

In order to play S
 uit Up, the P
leasure Tendency has to be visiting the polity that you
are in during the given month. The P
leasure Tendency s hip moves around between
them each month.

Additionally, you will also need a Suit Up ticket, which you can obtain through a
variety of different ways. Your first ticket is free. Tickets can be found in the Suit Up
dungeon as treasure, or can be purchased using Shards, an in-game coin that can be
found in the dungeon. Additionally, tickets are found throughout the sectors as an
occasional mission reward. If you have no interest in playing the game, you can
probably sell a ticket you find.

Once you cash in your ticket, put all your stuff in a locker and grab your hand of cards
then enter the dungeon. Check C
ards and Your Hand for more details, but cards are
power-ups that help you navigate the dungeon better, and your hand is a set of cards
you bring with you into a dungeon run. Pick three, and list them before you enter the
dungeon, and you can then use their bonuses in that run. cards can be used in as
many runs as you want.

When you step foot into the dungeon and its doors shut behind you, you’ll be given a
clue to a major treasure chest somewhere in the dungeness maze. Your goal should
be to find that chest. If you find others along the way, even better, feel free to loot
those too. Then, once you find it, you can choose to continue exploring, or try to head
back to the doors and exit. You can even try and exit back out before you find your
major chest, it’s up to you.

Speaking of chests, there are two types, major and minor. Major chests are the ones
you’ll be given clues to. They’re hard to find, and contain a big reward of a potential
mixture of tickets, Shards, cards, and a Fragment or two. Minor chests are much easier

to find. You don’t get a clue to them, but if you know where to look and you’re being
observant, they shouldn’t be hard to spot. Naturally, the rewards aren’t as valuable in
those, but they’re still worth finding.

While exploring it, your play progresses normally, checking out every twist and turn,
investigating where you think you might find something. Like with a real, less
dangerous dungeon, you may have to make rolls for things. All the while, guardians
are moving throughout. Avoid them as best as you can, you can’t take them and they
can take you out in a few hits or less. In addition, be aware of traps.

Once you exit the dungeon, you may retrieve your belongings and add any and all
rewards you brought out with you to your stash.

Please note, there is no map of the dungeon, but players may feel free to make one as
more and more people explore it.

The Dungeon and Shop

The dungeon is something of a maze, which you’re probably familiar with if you’re a
fan of PsikeTV. That said, in this case, the goal is to learn to navigate it, not find an
exit. As you enter, you are given a clue to a major chest somewhere in the dungeon.

The dungeon is divided up into different sectors. These are mostly thematic and for
show, but it’s also a good way to divide up the twists and turns, and to figure out
where you need to be going. Additionally, your clue will always reference in some way
what sector your chest is in. For example, if your clue notes a particular abundance of
trees, then you probably have to look in the forest sector, where there are plenty of
them. There are about a dozen different sectors, and each one is roughly the size of a
basketball court, give or take around half.

Making your way through the dungeon, you’ll probably find plenty of spots you could
search for a minor chest, nooks and crannies and the like. You’re welcome to search
anywhere, but be aware of your time. The guardians are constantly moving around
and hunting. Guardians deal damage in percentages, in order to keep things balanced
between players. Upon reaching 0% or lower, the player is brought back to the
dungeon entrance.

Using Shards, the in-game currency, you are able to buy certain specific items at the
shop that you c an bring in with you and use to your advantage. These items include
tools like a long rope or flare. How you use them is up to you. Unlike cards, however, if
knocked out with these tool items in the dungeon, you will not get them back again.
The items at the shop refresh with every new month.

Cards and Your Hand

There are four suits of cards you can find in S
uit Up, each with different effects and
five tiers. The suits are swords, cups, pentacles, and wands. Each suit has a different
effect on your run, and the higher the tier, the greater the effect. It goes without
saying that the higher the tier, the rarer the card is to get your hands on.

Untiered
(*effects may be subject to buffs and nerfs)

Two of the same card can be exchanged in the shop for a card of one tier higher.
Untiered cards can only be obtained in this way. Each major chest will have one
random card in it. Cards can also sometimes be found in minor chests, or for sale at
the shop.

When you enter the dungeon, you may equip a hand of up to three cards. These cards
will take effect throughout your run. If you have more than one of the same suit of
cards, their effects stack to one level higher than the higher of the two. They cannot
stack beyond the effects of an Untiered card.

Deck Boxes

All of your cards and Fragments must be kept public at all times in your “Deck Box”. A
deck box is a list every player keeps in the appropriate Deck Boxes thread, so that all
players can see what others have, and so that the person running Suit Up can keep
better track of what cards and items. Your deck box must list all Fragments you
currently own, what cards you currently own, how many Shards you have, and any
other in-game items the player has available to them.

As long as these things are clear and updated by the player as needed (finding new
things, trading etc.), the player may add any flair they like, such as listing items they
may be looking for, or things they are open to trading.

Weapon Fragments

One type of reward that can be found in the dungeon is weapon fragments, or just
Fragments for short. Every Fragment is unique, and there are many to find.

Every Fragment is part of a named set of four, and numbered to indicate which part of
the set it is (e.g. King 1, King 2, King 3, King 4). There is only one of each part of each
set, so collecting all four Fragments in a set is quite the accomplishment. You will
likely have to trade with other players in order to do this.

If you are able to do this, take all four Fragments from whatever set to Hailey
Clements, and she will be able to assemble them for you into a custom weapon,
special modification, or unique piece of tech associated with the set name.

These items are for use outside of the dungeon. Please also note, do not further
modify any of the items put together from Fragments (if the Fragments are combined
to form a modification, you may apply that modification to the one item of your
choosing). Ms. Clements’ style of jury rigged tinkering and unorthodox parts makes
modifying her custom stuff dangerous.
