posted on CreativeHotList.com . I am a graduate of Georgia Southern University where I
received a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and for the past year I have served as the
Community Educator at the Curtis & Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute as a part of the
Memorial Health University and Georgia Cancer Collation’s grant funded project “Nip It In the
Butt: Breathing in the Truth About Tobacco.”

Ideally, this position will allow me the opportunity to utilize the experiences obtained while I
was the Director of Public Relations for the Hearts and Hands Clinic Inc., a student operated
health clinic, which opened in 2010. This position required writing press releases, public service
announcements, creating both print and online marketing materials, planning and executing
fundraising events, utilizing social media outlets, and networking within the community in order
to obtain donations and other student committee members.

A review of my credentials will indicate that I offer experience in managing many different
facets within the marketing, communications, and public relations fields. My resume reflects the
scope and breadth of my experience and highlights some of my more noteworthy assets.

Growing up in the Savannah area has provided me the opportunity to develop an interest in not
only networking with people, but also in facilitating business strategies. If my experiences in the

“Nip It In the Butt” is a community project which is funded in part by the Southeast Georgia Cancer Alliance of the
Georgia Cancer Coalition and Memorial University Medical Center. “Nip It In the Butt” is committed to educating
students ages 5-18 in a nine-county region of Southeast Georgia on the dangers of tobacco use. Today, I have seen
over 21,000 students at 45 different schools throughout Southeast Georgia.
