By having a navy blue boarder around the sides of the page I was

hoping that it would make my magazine look more professional and

stand out more. I have also used the bordering on the double-page
spread so that there is a constant theme running through my
magazine. This was one of the things that I got told to do by my
teachers when they were marked my draft music magazine. The colour,
navy blue, also fits in nicely as I have used navy blue, red and

The Polaroid pictures at the bottom of the contents page should definitely
entice the reader as I am using images not just text. Also, by having the
images inside the Polaroid this helps give off the vintage and indie vibe I
was hoping to achieve. Images also help to give the reader a ‘sneak’
previews of what is inside and also by adding the page numbers
underneath they can easily flick to the certain page they are looking for.
