sleep duration.
Another research found that there is a significant relationship between the amount
of time spent for watching television during adolescence and early adulthood, and
the possibility of being aggressive.
Meanwhile, many studies have identified a relationship between kids who watch
TV a lot and being inactive and overweight.
Considering some facts mentioning above, protect your children with the
following tips:

Why Should Wearing a Helmet when Motorcycling (Title)

Thesis

We often hear lots of stories from road regarding people taking spill on motorcycle when
they are riding without using helmet. Mostly the riders badly end up in mess.

Argument 1

Wearing a fitted protective helmet offers many benefits which reduces the negative
aspects of riding. First and the most important is that wearing the correct helmet can save
a rider's life, physical ability, family pain, and money. The recommended designs of
motorcycle helmets can provide total protection. They not only protect riders from
getting a worse road injured accident but also from flying bugs, such as rain, sleet, mud
and other potential projectiles.

Argument 2

Second, wearing a helmet can gives the raiders a matter of style. Helmets give the
opportunity for rider to express the image they may want to project when riding on they
way. This benefit may not be important to some people, but to others, it means a lot and
important. By choosing the most appropriate helmet from all of the various styles, such as
beanie, Shorty, German, and many others, wearing a helmet which can projecting an
image is an inherent crucial part of motorcycling and help riders feel more confident
when riding on the road.

Recommendation

However, what most important is wearing helmet when riding is a matter of using it
properly. Bikers should use the helmets which are fixed to their head. It is really not good
if they place simply the helmets on the head without settling them properly. The bikers
should fasten the helmet correctly to their head in order to get safe and comfort.

Should Advertisement be banned from TV Programs?

I am waiting to complain about advertisement on TV. There are so many advertisements,

especially during my favorite programs. I think they should be stopped for a number of
reasons.

First, advertisements are a nuisance. They go on for a long time and there are so many.
Sometimes there seems to be more advertisements than programs.

Second, advertisements are a bad influence on people. They try to encourage people to
buy unhealthy food like beers, soft drinks, candies, and chips. In other words, they make
people want thinks they do not really need and cannot afford.

Finally, advertisements play role in what programs people watch. That is because there
are lots of advertisements in popular programs that a lot of people watch. Some programs
which are not so popular get stopped because they do not attract enough advertisements,
even though those programs may be someone’s favorite.

For those reasons, I think TV stations should stop showing advertisements. They interrupt
programs. They are a bad influence on people and they sometimes put a stop to people’s
favorite shows. I am sick of advertisements and now I mostly watch movie in cinema.

Global Warming

Thesis : Global warming is a complex phenomenon, and its full-scale

impacts are hard to predict far in advance. But each year people learn more about what
causes global warming.

Argument 1 : People argue that vehicles and industries pollution make global
warming happen. We know that emission gas of industries and vehicles cause increasing
of carbon dioxide and air vapor in atmosphere which makes world temperature hotter,
called greenhouse effect.

Argument 2 : Illegal logging is one of causes global warming. For example, in

our country, Indonesia, illegal logging is most popular activity. Many people,
government or commoners like do it. Ironic, they know, if they cut trees more and more,
temperature of world will increase. Consequently, Earth to be hotter. But no one care
with this problem.

Argument 3 : Using electricity much more, cause temperature of earth warm

up. In common, people produce energy with fossil power that makes carbon dioxide in
atmosphere increase.

Recommendation : Finally, I think that people must be more care about this
phenomenon. Some activity can us do to reduce effect of global warming. Among these:
• Modernize power plants and generate electricity from nonpolluting sources
• Cut our electricity use through energy efficiency
• Using car that run cleaner and burn less gas.
Smoking in Teenager
Smoking is a practice in which a substance, most commonly tobacco, is burned and the
smoke tasted or inhaled. This is primarily practiced as a route of administration for
recreational drug use, as combustion releases the active substances in drugs such as
nicotine and makes them available for absorption through the lungs. The problem for
many teenagers, and for nearly every teenager who smokes, is that the choices are not
conscious decisions - they are reactions.
A lot of teenager thinks that they need cigarettes in order to cope with stress or nerves.
However, nicotine is a stimulant; it makes your heart beat faster and raises your blood
pressure, so in fact, smoking does not really relax you at all or help you cope with
unpleasant situations.
Why do teenagers start smoking? If you ask teenagers, here are the four most common
reasons:

1. Group acceptance - if their friends smoke, many teenagers will begin smoking
simply to maintain their acceptance within the group. AKA "peer pressure".
2. Image projection - there is definitely an "image" attached to smoking by
advertising. For women it is one of sexiness and desirability, and for men it is one
of rugged individualism, fun or coolness. If a teenager buys into that image, then
smoking begins.
3. Rebellion - many teenagers take up smoking because they know it
annoys/bothers/infuriates their parents and other adults. There is also a certain
element of "independence" or "doing what is not allowed" or "walking on the
wild side" worked in as well.
4. Adult aspirations - some teenagers believe that by smoking they are acting like an
adult. If the teenager is raised in a community where most of the adults smoke,
then this is perhaps a logical conclusion.

Healths effects of tobacco are Tobacco-related diseases are some of the biggest killers
in the world today and are cited as one of the biggest causes of premature death in
industrialized countries. In addition, the researchers found that sixth graders who
had the ability to exercise self-control and good judgment, and had parents who
monitored their behavior, were less likely to start smoking. Dr. Simons-Morton
noted that the study was not a nationally representative survey, but was limited to
four middle schools in one suburban location. Also, some groups of children may
not have been fully represented in the study, because their parents did not give
permission for them to participate, or because they were absent from class on
survey days.
