ﺠﻠﱢـﻲ ﻋﹶﻠﻴـ ﻪ ﰲ
ﺤ ﻤ ﺪ ﻧ ﹾﻘ ﹶﻄ ﺔ ﺍﻟ ﺪﺍﺋ ﺮ ﺓ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻔ ﹾﻄ ﺮ ﺓ ﭐﻟ ﹸﻘ ﺪﺳـﻴ ﺔ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻤﺘ
ﺻ ﱢﻞ ﻭ ﺳﱢﻠ ﻢ ﻭﺑﺎ ﹺﺭ ﻙ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﺳﻴ ﺪﻧﺎ ﻣ
ﺍﻟﱠﻠ ﻬ ﻢ
ﺤﹺﺒ ﻪ ﹺﻭ ﺳﱢﻠ ﻢ ) ٣ﻣﺮﺍﺕ( . ﺻ ﻚ ﻭ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﺁﻟ ﻪ ﻭ
ﺴ ﻚ ﻭﹸﺃﻧ ِ
ﺏ ﹸﻗ ﺪ ﺳ ﺤ ﺮﺍ ﹺ
ﻣ
O Allah, grant prayers, peace and blessings upon our master, Muhammad, the point of
ﺴﱢﻠ ﻢ ﻭﻳﺒﺎ ﹺﺭ ﻙ ﻋﹶﻠﻴ ﻪ
ﺼﱢﻠﻲ ﻭﻳ
ﺠﻨ ﹸﺔ ﻭﻧ ﻌﻴ ﻤ ﻬﺎ ﺳ ﻌ ﺪ ﻟ ﻤ ﻦ ﻳ
ﺍﹾﻟ ;the holy fitra circle manifest upon him in the mihrāb of Your holiness and intimacy
)and upon his family and companions (٣ times
The Jannah and its tranquility, a joy, for whoever
sends him blessings and peace and wishes him barakah ﹶﻓﺎ ﻋﹶﻠ ﻢ ﹶﺃﻧ ﻪ ) ﹶﻻ ﹺﺇﹶﻟ ﻪ ﹺﺇ ﱠﻻ ﭐﷲ ) ١٠٠ﻣﺮﺓ(( .
)Then know that “There is no god but Allah” (١٠٠ times
Make a du‘ā
ﺍﷲ
ﺍﷲ
ﻭ ﺟ ﻌ ﹶﻞ ﺑ ﺮﻭ ﺯ ﻀﻴﺔ
ﺴﺎ ﹺﺭﻱ ﺳ ﺮ ﻩ ﰲ ﹸﻛ ﱢﻞ ﹶﻗ ﻱ ﺍﻟ ﺤ ﻤ ﺪ ﷲ ﭐﱠﻟ ﺬﻱ ﭐ ﹾﻓﺘﺘ ﺢ ﻫ ﹶﺬﺍ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻮ ﺟﻮ ﺩ ﹺﺑﺎﻟﻨﻮ ﹺﺭ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻤ ﺤ ﻤ ﺪ ِ ِﺍﹾﻟ
ﺴﹶﻠ ﻪ ﺍﻟ ﱠﻄﺎ ﻫ ﺮ ﹺﺑﺎ َﻷ ﺳ ﺮﺍ ﹺﺭ ﭐ ِﻹﻟ ﹺﻬﻴﺔ ﹶﻓ ﹶﻜﺎﻧﻮﺍ ﺣﺼـﻨﹰﺎ ﺺ ﹶﺃ ﻫﹶﻠ ﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻔﺎ ﺧ ﺮ ﻭﻧ
ﻭ ﺧ ﹶﺫﺍﺗ ﻪ ﹺﺇ ﺧﺘﺘﺎ ﻣ ﻪ ﻭﭐﻧﺘ ﻬﺎﻩ
ﺤ ﻤ ﺪ ﺧﻴـ ﹺﺮ ﭐﹾﻟﺒ ﹺﺮﻳـﺔ ﻼ ﻡ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﺳﻴ ﺪﻧﺎ ﻣ ﺴﹶ ﻼ ﹸﺓ ﻭﺍﻟ ﺼﹶ ﻭﺍﻟ ﺽ ﻭﻟﻠ ﺪﻳ ﹺﻦ ﺣ ﻤﺎﻩ ﺼﻴﻨﹰﺎ ِ َﻷ ﻫ ﹺﻞ ﭐ َﻷ ﺭ ﹺ ﺣ
ﺤ ﺔ
ﻀ ﹺﻞ ﹸﻛ ﱠﻞ ﻣﻨ ﻑ ﭐﱠﻟ ﺬﻱ ﺣﺎ ﺯ ﻣ ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻔ ﻭﺑ ﻌ ﺪ ﹶﻓﻴ ﹸﻘﻮ ﹸﻝ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻌﺎ ﹺﺭ ﺤﺎﹺﺑ ﻪ ﻭﹶﺃﺗﺒﺎ ﻋ ﻪ ﻭ ﻣ ﻦ ﻭﺍ ﹶﻻﻩ
ﺻ ﻭ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﺁﻟ ﻪ ﻭﹶﺃ
ﺐ ﺍﻟ ﱠﻄﺎ ﻫ ﹺﺮ ﭐﻟﱠـ ﺬﻱ ﺴ ﹺ ﹸﺫﻭ ﺍﻟﻨ ﺼﺎ ﺭ ﺩﻳ ﺪﻧ ﻪ ﻭ ﹶﻏﺎﻳ ﹶﺔ ﻣ ﺮ ﻣﺎﻩﺤﱠﻠﻰ ﹺﺑ ﻌ ﹾﻠ ﻤﻲ ﺍﻟ ﱠﻈﺎ ﻫ ﹺﺮ ﻭﭐﹾﻟﺒﺎ ﻃ ﹺﻦ ﹶﻓ ﻭﺗ ﺳﹺﻨﻴﺔ
ﺴﺒﺘ ﻪ
ﺠﻲ ﹺﻧ ﱃ ﭐﹾﻟﺒ ﺮ ﺯﻧ ﹺ
ﺴﻦ ﻣ ﻦ ﹺﺇ ٰ ﺴﻴ ﺪ ﺟ ﻌ ﹶﻔ ﺮ ﺑ ﻦ ﺣ ﻣ ﻮ ﹶﻻﻧﺎ ﺍﻟ ﺤ ﻤﻴﺔ
ﺠﻲ ﻣ ﻦ ﺍﻟﻨﺎ ﹺﺭ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺣﺒ ﻪ ﰲ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻘﻴﺎ ﻣ ﺔ ﻣﻨ ﹺ
ﺕ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﻣﺎ ﹶﺃﻧﺎﻟﹶـ ﻪ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻭﻻﻩ ﺾ ﭐﹾﻟﺒ ﺮﻛﺎ ﺴﺘ ﺪ ﺭﹰﺍ ﹶﻓﻴ ﻣ ﺕ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻌﻠﻴﺔ
ﺉ ﭐ ِﻹ ﻣﻼ َﺀ ﹺﺑﺎ ﺳ ﹺﻢ ﺍﻟ ﱠﺬﺍ ﻭ ﻣﻨﺘ ﻤﺎﻩ ﹶﺃﺑﺘ ﺪ

ﻢ ـﱢﻠﺻﱢﻠﻲ ﻭﹸﺃﺳ ﻳﺎﻩ ﻭﹸﺃﻣ ﹶﻄﺎ ﻤﻴ ﹺﻞ ﺠ ﺸ ﹾﻜ ﹺﺮ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻦ ﺍﻟ ﻣ ﻄﻴﹰﺎ ﺘﻤ ﻣ ﻴﺔﻫﹺﻨ ﻐ ﹲﺔ ﺋﺳﺎ ﻩ ﺩ ﻣﻮﺍ ﹺﺭ ﺪ ﻤ ﺤ ﻭﹸﺃﹾﺛﹺﻨﻲ ﹺﺑ the Mawlid Ja‘far, from the family al-Barzanji, and his lineage to whom he belongs
Realize for him the triumph of Your closeness Make his rest and place of
ﷲُ ﺢ ﭐ ﻤﹺﻨ ﺘـﺒﺎﻩ ﻭﭐﺳﺠ ﻭﭐﹾﻟ ﹺ ﺔ ﳝ ﺮ ﹺﺭ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻜ ﹺﺮ ﻐ ﻨ ﱠﻘ ﹺﻞ ﰲ ﭐﹾﻟﺘﻤ ﻴﺔ ﭐﹾﻟﻟﻭ ﺪ ﹺﻡ ﻭﭐ َﻷ ﺘ ﹶﻘﻑ ﹺﺑﺎﻟ ﺻﻮ ﻤﻮ ﻨﻮ ﹺﺭ ﭐﹾﻟﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﺍﻟ residence among the foremost brought near to You (muqarrabīn) Cover the flaw,
the inability, the limitation, and the powerlessness of him And the writer of this
ﻪ ﺪﻳ ﺠ
ﺘﺳ ﻭﭐ ﻭﺍ ﹶﻻﻩ ﻦ ﻣ ﻭ ﻉ ﺒﺎﺗﻭﭐ َﻷ ﺑ ﹶﺔﺼﺤﺎ ﻢ ﺍﻟ ﻌ ﻳﻳﺔ ﻭﺒ ﹺﻮﻨﺮ ﹶﺓ ﺍﻟ ﻫ ﺮ ﹶﺓ ﺍﻟ ﱠﻄﺎ ﺘﻌ ﺺ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺨ ﻳ ﺿﻮﺍﻧﹰﺎ ﱃ ﹺﺭ ٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ Mawlid, its reader, and whoever listens carefully to it Bless, O Allah, the first
divine manifested light from the absolute Reality His family, companions, and
ﺧﻄﹶـﺎﻩ ﻭ ﺨﻄﹶـﺎ ِﺀ ﻂ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺧ ﹶﻄ ﺔ ﰲ ﻳﻮﺍ ﻐ ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻣ ﺣ ﹾﻔﻈﹰﺎ ﻭ ﻴﺔﻠﺠ
ﺔ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺤ ﺿ ﻮﺍ ﺒ ﹺﻞ ﭐﹾﻟﺴ ﻙ ﺍﻟ ﺴﹸﻠﻮ ﻟ ﻳ ﹰﺔﺪﺍ ﻫ those who helped him and stood by him The ears that are pleased by the glittering
description of him are thereby bedecked with jeweled earrings The foremost of the
ﻋ ﹾﻘﺪﹰﺍ ﻒ ﺸ ﹺﺮﻳ
ﺐ ﺍﻟﺴ ﹺ ﻨﻦ ﺍﻟ ﻣ ﻇﻤﹰﺎ ﻧﺎ ﻳﺔﺒ ﹶﻘ ﹺﺮﻋ ﺣﺴﺎﻧﹰﺎ ﺮﻭﺩﹰﺍ ﺑ ﻒ ﺸ ﹺﺮﻳ ﻱ ﺍﻟ ﺒ ﹺﻮﻨﺪ ﺍﻟ ﻟﻮ ﻤ ﺔ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺼ
ﻗ ﻦ ﻣ ﺮ ﺸ ﻧﻭﹶﺃ noble gatherings (i.e., those reciting the mawlid) are made beautiful with chests
adorned with necklaces in which he is mentioned
ﻮ ﹶﺓ ﹺﺇ ﱠﻻ ﻭ ﹶﻻ ﻗﹸـ ﻮ ﹶﻝ ﺣ ﻪ ﹶﻻ ﻧﻳﺔ ﹶﻓﹺﺈﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ ﹺﻮ ﺗﻮ ﻭﹸﻗ ﱃ ٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ ﷲِ ﺤﻮ ﹺﻝ ﭐ ﲔ ﹺﺑ ﻌ ﺘﺳ ﻼﻩ ﻭﭐ ﺤﹶ ﻊ ﹺﺑ ﻣ ﺴﺎ
ﻤ ﺤﹼﻠ ٰﻰ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺗ
ﹺﺑﺎﷲ ﺳﱠﻠﻢ ﻭ ﻪ ﻴﻋﹶﻠ ﷲ
ُ ﺻﱠﻠﻰ ﭐ
ﺪ ﻤ ﺤ
ﻣ ﻧﺎﺪ ﻴﺳ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﷲ
ُ ﺻﱠﻠﻰ ﭐ
P raise belongs to Allah Who began this existence with the Light of Muhammad (al-
Nūr al-Muhammadiya)—the Night Traveler, whose light is the secret in each affair
And Who made his appearance its seal and completion And Who bestowed upon
Allah bless our master Muhammad, bless him and grant him peace
his glorious family and pure descendants the divine secrets They being, for the
people of the earth, an invulnerable fortress, and for the religion (dīn) a guardian
Blessing and peace be upon our master, Muhammad, the best of mankind And upon
o
his family, companions, followers and whoever supports him So I, the ‘arif, who
gains from the overflowing every splendid and brilliant favor And who is adorned ﲔ
ﻠﺳ ﺮ ﻤ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻡ ﻼ
ﺳ ﹶ ﻭ ﺼ ﹸﻔﻮ ﹶﻥ ﻳ ﻤﺎ ﻋ ﺓ ﺰ ﻌ ﺏ ﭐﹾﻟ
ﺭ ﻚ
ﺑﺭ ﺤﺎ ﹶﻥ
ﺒﺳ
with the two knowledges—the outward and the inward—so that it becomes his
practice and most cherished goal The one with the pure lineage whose love for the ﲔ
ﻤ ﻌﺎﹶﻟ ﺏ ﭐﹾﻟ
ﺭ ﷲ ِ ِ ﺪ ﻤ ﺤ ﭐﹾﻟﻭ
standing (before his Lord) delivers him from the burning fire Our master Sayyid
Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Might and Honor, above what they describe; and
Ja‘far ibn Hasan who traces his lineage to al-Barzanji Starts this recitation in the
peace be on the messengers; and all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds
name of the Exalted Essence Causing the flow of blessings on what I work for and
obtain I praise its wholesome source easily imbibed Riding the mounts of good
thanks I give blessings and send peace upon the light described as foremost and
first Conveyed in the noble white marks placed on foreheads and faces I humbly
ask Allah the Exalted to bestow a special favor upon the pure prophetic ‘itra Which
includes his companions, followers and those who support him I implore Him for a
guidance by which I will travel the clear established ways And for safety from the
seduction in the plans of those who make errors and from following in their footsteps
I will simplify from the story of the noble Prophet’s birth beautiful burdas
Making from the noble lineage a beautiful necklace that will ornament the ears with its
beauty I ask for assistance by Allah’s might and power For surely there is no
might or power except by Allah
٢ ٢٧
ﻚ ﺮﹺﺑ ﺯ ﹺﺑ ﹸﻘ ﻮ ﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻔ ﻖ ﹶﻟ ﺣ ﱢﻘ ﻭ ﻤﺎﻩ ﺘﻨﻣ ﻭ ﻪ ﺘﺒﺴ
ﻧ ﻲ ﺠ ﻧ ﹺﺯ ﺮ ﺒﻦ ﺁ ﹺﻝ ﭐﻟ ﻣ ﺮ ﻌ ﹶﻔ ﺟ ﺔﺪﻳ ﻟﻮ ﻤ ﺓ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺮ ﺒﺤ ﺩ ﭐﹾﻟﻤ ﺮﻭ ﺒﭐﹾﻟ אא
ﻩ ﺮ ـﺣﺼ ﻭ ﻩ ﺰ ﺠ ﻋ ﻭ ﻪ ﺒﻴﻋ ﻪ ﺮ ﹶﻟ ﺘﺳ ﻭﭐ ﻨﺎﻩﺳ ﹾﻜ ﻭ ﻪ ﻘﻴﹸﻠ ﻣ ﲔ ﺮﹺﺑ ﻤ ﹶﻘ ﻊ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻣ ﻌ ﹾﻞ ﺟ ﻭﭐ ﻴﺔﻣﹺﻨ ﭐ ُﻷﺟﺎ َﺀ ﻭ ﺮ ﻭﺍﻟ ﺍﷲ א ﺍﷲ
ﺠﱢﻠﻲ ﺘﻟﻠ ﻭ ﹺﻝ ﹶﻗﺎﹺﺑ ﹴﻞ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﹶﺃ ﻢ ﻬ ﺻ ﱢﻞ ﺍﻟﱠﻠ ﻭ ﻐﺎﻩ ﺻ
ﻭﹶﺃ ﻪ ﻴﻪ ﹺﺇﹶﻟ ﻌ ﻤ ﺳ ﺥ ﺻﺎ ﻦ ﹶﺃ ﻣ ﻭ ﻬﺎ ﺋﻭﹶﻗﺎ ﹺﺭ ﻬﺎ ﺗﹺﺒﻟ ﹶﻜﺎﻭ ﻴﻪﻋ ﻭ
O Allah, scent his noble grave with an aromatic fragrance of blessings and peace
ﻪ ﻔ ـﻭﺻ ﻦ ﻣ ﺖ ﭐ َﻷ ﹶﺫﺍ ﹸﻥ ﻨ ﹶﻔﺷ ﻣﺎ ﻭﺍ ﹶﻻﻩ ﻭ ﻩ ﺮ ﺼ ﻧ ﻦ ﻣ ﻭ ﻪ ﺤﹺﺒ ﺻ ﻭ ﻪ ﻟﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﺁ ﻭ ﻴﺔﺔ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹸﻜﱢﻠ ﻘﻴ ﹶﻘ ﺤ ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻣ O Allah, bless him, grant him peace and barakah
ﻼﻩﺣ ﹶ ﺩ ﻌ ﹸﻘﻮ ﺔ ﹺﺑ ﻤﹺﻨﻴ ﹶﻔ ﻓ ﹺﻞ ﭐﹾﻟﺤﺎ ﻤ ﺭ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺪﻭ ﺻ ﺖ ﺤﱠﻠ ﺗﻭ ﻳﺔﻫ ﹺﺮ ﻮ ﺟ ﻁ ﺮﺍ ﻱ ﹺﺑﹶﺄ ﹾﻗ
ﺭ ﺪ ﺍﻟ
ﻪ ﺧﺼـﺎﹸﻟ ﺕ ﺪ ﻤ ﺣ ﺪ ﻤ ﺤ ﺒ ﹸﺔ ﭐﹾﻟﻴﺷ ﻪ ﻤ ﺳ ﻭﭐ ﺐ ﻠ ﹺﻤ ﱠﻄ ﺪ ﺍﹾﻟ ﺒﻋ ﺑ ﹺﻦ ﷲ ِ ﺪ ﭐ ﺒﻋ ﻦ ﺑ ﺪ ﻤ ﺤ ﻣ ﻧﺎﺪ ﻴﺳ ﻮ ﻫ ﺪ ﹶﻓﹶﺄﹸﻗﻮ ﹸﻝ ﻌ ﺑﻭ
O Allah, O Open-handed in giving O He Who when the palms of the servant are
raised satisfies the suppliant O He Who declares the unity in His being and in
ـﺎﻩﻌ ﹾﻠﻴ ﻟ ﺗﻘﺎ ُﺀﺭ ﻻ ﻤﻲ ﭐ ﺘﻨﻳ ﺬﻱ ﲑ ﹸﺓ ﭐﱠﻟ ﻐ ﻤ ﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻤ ﺳ ﻭﭐ ﻑ ﻣﻨﺎ ﺪ ﺒﻋ ﺑ ﹺﻦﭐﺮﻭ ﻭ ﻤ ﻋ ﻪ ﻤ ﺳ ﻭﭐ ﺷ ﹴﻢ ﻫﺎ ﺑ ﹺﻦﻴﺔ ﺍﺴﹺﻨ ﺍﻟ
His attributes To be only for Him without equal or similarity O He Who alone ﷲ
ُ ﻩ ﭐ ﺩ ﱃ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻥ ﹶﺃﻋـﺎ ٰ ﻴﺔ ﹺﺇﺼ ﻋ ﹶﺔ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ ﺩ ﹸﻗﻀﺎ ﻼ ﻪ ﰲ ﹺﺑ ﹶ ﺻﻴ ﺘ ﹶﻘﺎﻟ ﺼ ّﹴﻲ
ﻲ ﹺﺑ ﹸﻘ ﻤ ﺳ ﻊ ﻤ ﺠ ﻣ ﻪ ﻤ ﺳ ﻭﭐ ﺼ ّﹴﻲ ﺑ ﹺﻦ ﹸﻗﺍ
remains forever and Who existed in the most ancient time and Who existed in pre-
endless time O He in Whom no one places his hopes except Him and upon Whom ﻱ
ﺆ ﺑ ﹺﻦ ﹸﻟ ﺐ ﻌ ﹺ ﺑ ﹺﻦ ﹶﻛﺮ ﹶﺓ ﭐ ﻣ ﺑ ﹺﻦﻢ ﭐ ﻜﻴ ﺣ ﻪ ﻤ ﺳ ﻭﭐ ﺏ ﻛﻼ ﹴ ﺑ ﹺﻦﻤﺎﻩ ﺍ ﺣ ﺤﻤ ٰﻰ ﺘ ﹺﺮ ﹺﻡ ﹶﻓﺤ
ﻤ ﺮ ﹺﻡ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺤ
ﱃ ﭐﹾﻟٰ ﱃﺇ ٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ
no one depends but Him O He in Whose everlasting power the people are confident
Who guides with His overflowing generosity he who seeks His guidance We ask ﻪ ﻴﺢ ﹺﺇﹶﻟ ﻨﺟ ﻤﺎ ﹶﻛﻨﺎﹺﻧﻲﻛ ﻪ ﻮﹶﻗ ﻣﺎ ﹶﻓ ﻭ ﻴﺔﺷ ﺮ ﺒ ﹸﻄﻮ ﹸﻥ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹸﻘﺐ ﭐﹾﻟ
ﺴ ﻨﺗ ﻪ ﻴﻭﹺﺇﹶﻟ ﺶ ﻳﺮ ﻪ ﹸﻗ ﻤ ﺳ ﻭﭐ ﻬ ﹴﺮ ﻓ ﺑ ﹺﻦ ﺐ ﻟ ﹺﺑ ﹺﻦ ﹶﻏﺎ
You by Your sacred lights Which removed the night from the darknesses of doubts
We humbly beseech You through the exalted rank of the Muhammadan Being (al- ﻦ ـﻭ ﹸﻝ ﻣ ﻮ ﹶﺃ ﻫ ﻭ ﺱ ﺑ ﹺﻦ ﹺﺇﹾﻟﻴﺎ ﺪ ﹺﺭ ﹶﻛ ﹶﺔ ﻣ ﺑ ﹺﻦ ﺔ ﳝ ﺰ ﺧ ﺑ ﹺﻦ ﻧ ﹶﺔﻛﻨﺎ ﺑ ﹺﻦ ﻀ ﹺﺮ ﻨﺑ ﹺﻦ ﺍﻟ ﻚ ﻟﻣﺎ ﺑ ﹺﻦﺗﻀﺎﻩ ﺍﺭ ﻭﭐ ﲑ ﺜﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻜ
dhat al-muhammadiya) (i.e., tawassul: seeking Allah’s help through Sayyiduna

ﺏ ﭐﹾﻟﺣﺎ ﹺ ﺮ ﱃ ﺍﻟ ٰ ﺪ ﹶﻥ ﹺﺇ ﺒﻯ ﭐﹾﻟٰ ﻫﺪ ﹶﺃ
first of them in his meaning By his family, mankind’s secure planets Their ship
of safety and refuge By his companions, the people of guidance and preference
ﻴﺔﺴﹺﻨ
ﺔ ﺍﻟ ﻨﺴ
ﺑﻨﺎ ﹸﻥ ﺍﻟ ﻩ ﺪ ﺋﺖ ﹶﻓﺮﺍ ﻤ ﻧ ﱠﻈ ﻚ ﺳ ﹾﻠ ﻫ ﹶﺬﺍ ﻭ ﺪﻧﺎ ﹶﻥ ﻋ ﺑ ﹺﻦﺪ ﭐ ﻌ ﻣ ﺑ ﹺﻦ ﺰﺍ ﹺﺭ ﺑ ﹺﻦ ﹺﻧ ﻀ ﹴﺮ ﻣ ﻦ ﺑﺒﺎﻩ ﺍﻭﹶﻟ
Who freely gave themselves to Allah only desiring Allah’s overflowing generosity ﺪ ﹶﺫ ﹺﻭﻱ ﻨﻋ ﺐ ﺭﻳ ﹴ ﻼ ﺪﻧﺎ ﹸﻥ ﹺﺑ ﹶ ﻋ ﻭ ﻭﹶﺃﺑﺎﻩ ﻉ ﺸﺎ ﹺﺭ ﻪ ﺍﻟ ﻨﻋ ﻚ ﺴ ﻣ ﻡ ﹶﺃ ﺴﻼ ﻪ ﺍﻟ ﻴﻋﹶﻠ ﻢ ﻫﻴ ﺑﺮﺍﻠﻴ ﹺﻞ ﹺﺇﺨ ﱃ ﭐﹾﻟٰ ﻪ ﹺﺇ ﻌ ﺭ ﹾﻓ ﻭ
And by the carriers of His Shari‘ah, the people of great deeds and virtues Who
rejoice in each grace and favor (ni‘mah and fađl) from Allah That you grant us ﻪ ـﻛﺒ ﻮﺍ ﺖ ﹶﻛ ﺗﹶﺄﱠﻟﻘﹶـ ﺪ ﻋ ﹾﻘ ﻦ ﻣ ﻪ ﻢ ﹺﺑ ﻈ ﻋ ﻤﺎﻩ ﹶﻓﹶﺄ ﺘﻨﻣ ﻭ ﻪ ﺘﺒﺴ ﻋﻴ ﹶﻞ ﹺﻧ ﺳﻤﺎ ﱃ ﺍﻟ ﱠﺬﹺﺑﻴ ﹺﺢ ﹺﺇ ٰ ﻴﺔ ﹺﺇﺴﹺﺒ ﻨﻌﹸﻠﻮ ﹺﻡ ﺍﻟ ﭐﹾﻟ
success in words and deeds in achieving sincerity of intention That You give to all
who are present his request and wish That You save us from the shackles of lower ﺘ ﹶﻘﺎﻩﻨﻤ ﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺘﺳ ﹶﻄ ﻭﺍ ﻡ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺮ ﺪ ﺍ َﻷ ﹾﻛ ﻴﺴ ﻭﺍﻟ ﻒ ﹶﻻ ﻴﻭ ﹶﻛ ﻳﺔﺭ ﺪ ﺍﻟ
desires and the sicknesses of the heart That You realize our hopes which we have
placed in You (three times) That you save us from every great harm and calamity
That You don’t place us among those whose self tends toward low desires That
You cover the flaw, the inability, the limitation, and the powerlessness of each one of
I say he is Sayyiduna Muhammad son of ‘Abd Allah son of ‘Abd al-Muţţalib, named
Shaybat al-Hamd whose brilliant qualities were praised Son of Hashim, whose
name is ‘Amr, son of ‘Abd Munāf, whose name is al-Mughira to whose exaltedness
us That You make easy for us the good deeds which are difficult to accomplish the ascension is related Son of Quşay, whose name is Mujammi‘ because he used to
That You bring close to us the goodness of certainty so that it may be easily picked travel far into Quđā‘a land Until Allah brought him to the sacred haram and its
like the fruit of jannah That You erase from us all our sins (three times) That protection Son of Kilāb, whose name is Hakīm, son of Murrah son of Ka‘b son of
You include this gathering of ours in Your exalted giving from Your treasuries By a Lu’ay son of Ghālib son of Fihr, whose name is Quraysh, to whom the clans of
mercy and a forgiveness and a perpetual freedom from needing anyone other than You Quraysh are related What is above Quraysh is Kināni as accepted by many Ibn
O Allah, surely You have given to every petitioner a station and a merit And to Mālik son of al-Nađr son of Kinānah son of Khuzaymah son of Mudrikah son of Ilyās,
every hopeful one whatever he hoped for We have asked You hoping for gifts from the first to offer camels as a present to the sacrosanct precinct And in whose loins
Your presence So realize for us what we hope to gain from You (three times) O the Prophet was heard mentioning Allah and responding to Him Son of Muđar son
Allah, secure us from fears, and correct the rulers and their citizens Increase the of Nizār son of Ma‘add son of ‘Adnān—this is a thread whose precious gems were
reward of whoever performs this goodness today O Allah, make this country and all strung by the finger of the brilliant sunnah ‘Adnān, whom Allah connected to the
Muslim countries secure and comfortable And provide our land with rain that will Khalil, Ibrahim (upon him be peace), whose way Sayyiduna Muhammad took and
cover its low lands and its hills And forgive the copier of these decorated pages of whose father he is And here there is no doubt for those who have knowledge of his

lineage That ‘Adnān descends from the Sacrificed, Ismā‘īl, where Sayyiduna who is dictating this has reached a stopping point like the traveler who has reached a
Muhammad’s lineage ends How great a necklace whose pearls like stars shine clearing and a place of rest
And why not, since its most precious, the Master the Noble, is among them

ﻴﺔﻟﺯ ﻭﭐ َﻷ ﺪ ﹺﻡ ﻘ ﻭﭐﹾﻟ ﺒ ﹶﻘﺎ ِﺀﺩ ﹺﺑﺎﹾﻟ ﺮ ﺗ ﹶﻔ ﻦ ﻣ ﻳﺎ ﺒﺎﻩﺷ ﻭﹶﺃ ﺮ ﺋﻧ ﹶﻈﺎ ﻬﺎ ﻓﻴ ﻪ ﻳ ﹸﻜﻮ ﹶﻥ ﹶﻟ ﻦ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻥ ﻋ ﻳﺔﺪ ﺣ ﻪ ﭐ َﻷ ﺗﺻ ﹶﻔﺎ ﻭ
ﻩ ﺩ ﻮ ﹺﺭ ﻣ ﰲﺩﻩ ﺍ ﹺﺭﻲ ﻭ ﻗﺍﻌﺮ ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻳﺩ ﺍﻟﺰ ﺭ ﻭ ﹶﺃ ﺔﻠﻴﻫ ﺎﺡ ﭐﹾﻟﺠ
ﺳﻔﹶﺎ ﹺ ﻦ ﻣ ﱃ
ٰ ﺎﺗﻌ ﷲ
ُ ﭐﺮﻩ ﻬ ﺐ ﹶﻃ
ﺴ ﹴ
ﻧ ﻦ ﻣ ﻪ ﻡ ﹺﺑ ﻭﹶﺃ ﹾﻛ ﹺﺮ ـﺔﻣﻴ ﻴﻮﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ ﺗﺭ ﺪ ﱃ ﹸﻗٰ ﻡ ﹺﺇ ﻧﺎﺪ ﭐ َﻷ ﻨﺘﺳ ﻣ ﹺﻦ ﭐ ﻳﺎ ﻮﺍﻩ ﺳ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﻮ ﹸﻝ ﻌ ﻳ ﻭ ﹶﻻ ﻩ ﺮ ﻴﺮﺟ ٰﻰ ﹶﻏ ﻳ ﻦ ﹶﻻ ﻣ ﻳﺎ
ﺍﻩﺭﻭ ﻭ ﻲ ﻬﹺﻨ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺕ ﻤﺎ ﻣ ﹺﻦ ﹸﻇﹸﻠ ﺖ ﺣ ﺯﺍ ﺘﻲ ﹶﺃﻴﺔ ﺍﱠﻟﺳ ﺪ ﻙ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹸﻘ ﻮﺍ ﹺﺭ ﻧﻚ ﹺﺑﹶﺄ ﺴﹶﺄﹸﻟ ﻧ ﺪﺍﻩ ﻬ ﺘﺳ ﻭﭐ ﻩ ﺪ ﺷ ﺮ ﺘﺳ ﻦ ﭐ ﻣ ﻪ ﻠﻀ ﺪ ﹺﺑ ﹶﻔ ﺷ ﺭ ﻭﹶﺃ
How noble is the lineage that Allah has purified from the immorality of jahiliyya ﻪ ﺗﺭ ـﻮـﺎ ِﺀ ﹺﺑﺼﻧﹺﺒﻴﺮ ﭐ َﻷ ﺧ ﻮ ﺁ ﻫ ﻦ ﻣ ﻭ ﻳﺔﺪ ﻤ ﺤ ﻤ ﺕ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻑ ﺍﻟ ﱠﺬﺍ ﺮ ﺸ ﻚ ﹺﺑ ﻴﺳ ﹸﻞ ﹺﺇﹶﻟ ﻮ ﺘﻧﻭ ﺟﺎﻩ ﺩ ﻚ ﺸ ﺍﻟ

א א ٰ א ـﻲﻪ ﹸﺃﻭﻟ ﺘﻌ ﺷ ﹺﺮﻳ ﺔ ﻤﹶﻠ ﺤ ﻭﹺﺑ ﻦ ﭐﷲ ﻣ ﻼ ﻀﹰ ﻐﻮ ﹶﻥ ﹶﻓ ﺘﺒﻳ ﷲ ِ ِ ﻬﻢ ﺳ ﻧ ﹸﻔﻮ ﺑ ﹶﺬﹸﻟﻮﺍ ﻦ ﺬﻳ ﻴﺔ ﺍﱠﻟﻠﻀ ﻭﭐ َﻷ ﹾﻓ ﺔ ﻳﺪﺍ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹺﻬ
מ מ מ אא ﻮﺍ ﹺﻝ ـﺎ ﰲ ﭐ َﻷﻗﹾـﻓ ﹶﻘﻨﻮ ﺗ ﻦ ﭐﷲ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻥ ـﻀ ﹴﻞ ﻣ ﻭﹶﻓ ﺔ ﻤ ﻌ ﺮﻭﺍ ﹺﺑﹺﻨ ﺸ ﺒﺘﺳ ﻦ ﭐ ﺬﻳ ﻴﺔ ﺍﱠﻟﺻ ﺼﻮ ﺨ ﻭﭐﹾﻟ ﺐ ﻗ ﹺﻨﺎﻤ ﭐﹾﻟ
Allah has preserved the nobility of Muhammad ـ ﹺﺮﻦ ﹶﺃﺳ ـﻨﺎ ﻣﺼ ﺨﱢﻠ ﺗﻭ ﻨﺎﻩﻣ ﻭ ﻪ ﺒﻣ ﹾﻄﹶﻠ ﻦ ﺿ ﹺﺮﻳ ﺤﺎ ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻣ ﻟ ﹸﻜ ﱟﻞ ﺢ ﺠ ﻨ ﹺﺗﻭ ﻴﺔﻨﺹ ﺍﻟﻼ ﹺ ﺧ ﹶ ﻤﺎ ﹺﻝ ِ ِﻹ ﻋ ﻭﭐ َﻷ
His noble forefathers safekeeping his name
Never having indulged themselves in immorality ﻨﺎﻴﻔ ﺗ ﹾﻜﻭ ((( ﻣﺮﺍﺕ٣ ) ﻨﺎﻩﻨﻚ ﹶﻇ ﻣﺎ ﹺﺑ ﻣﺎ ﹺﻝ ﻦ ﭐﻵ ﻣ ﻨﺎﻖ ﹶﻟ ﺤ ﱢﻘ ﺗﻭ )) ﻴﺔﻭﺍ ِﺀ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ ﹾﻠﹺﺒ ﺩ ﻭﭐ َﻷ ﺕ ﻮﺍ ﻬ ﺸ ﺍﻟ
From Adam to his father and mother
ﻩ ﺮ ـﺣﺼ ﻭ ﻩ ﺰ ـﻋﺠ ﻭ ﻪ ﺒﻴﻋ ﻨﺎﻣ ﻟ ﹸﻜ ﱟﻞ ﺮ ﺘﺴ ﺗﻭ ﻮﺍﻩ ﻫ ﻩ ﻮﺍ ﻫ ﻦ ﹶﺃ ﻤ ﻣ ﻨﺎﻌ ﹾﻠ ﺠ
ﺗ ﻭ ﹶﻻ ﺔﻠﻴﺑﻭ ﺔ ﻤ ﺪﹶﻟ ﹺﻬ ﻣ ﹸﻛ ﱠﻞ
ﺪ ـﻋﺒ ﻪ ﺑﻨﹺـﭐﺐ ﻭ
ﻠ ﹺﻄﱠﺪ ﭐﹾﻟﻤ ﺒﻋ ﻩ ﺪ ﺟ ﲔ
ﺟﹺﺒ ﹺ ﰲﻩﺪﺭ ﺑ ﺭ ﺪ ﺑﻭ ﺔﺒ ﹺﻬﻴ ﭐﹾﻟﻫﻢ ﺮ ﹺﺭ ﺓ ﰲ ﻏﹸ ﺒﻮﺭ ﺍﻟﻨ ﻮﻯ ﻧ
ٰ ﺮﺭ ﺳ ﺎﺳ ﻴ ﹰﺔﺩﺍﹺﻧ ﲔ ﹸﻗ ﹸﻄﻮﻓﹰﺎ ﻘ ﹺ ﻴﺴ ﹺﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺣ ﻦ ﻣ ﻨﺎﺪﹺﻧﻲ ﹶﻟ ﺗﻭ ﺭﺍﻩ ﺰ ﹸﺫ ﻋ ﻣﺎ ﻤﺎ ﹺﻝ ﻋ ﻟ ﹺﺢ ﭐ َﻷﺻﺎ ﻦ ﻣ ﻨﺎﺴ ﹺﻬ ﹸﻞ ﹶﻟ ﺗﻭ ﻴﺔﻋ ﻭ
ﭐﷲ ﺋ ﹺﻦﺰﺍ ـﻦ ﺧ ـﻫ ﹶﺬﺍ ﻣ ﻨﺎﻌ ﻤ ﺟ ﻢ ﻌ ﺗﻭ ((( ﻣﺮﺍﺕ٣ ) ﻨﺎﻩﻴﻨﺟ ﺐ ﻧ ﹴﻨﺎ ﹸﻛ ﱠﻞ ﹶﺫﻋ ﺤﻮﺍ ﻤ ﺗﻭ )) ﻴﺔﺟﹺﻨ

אא Ma‘bad came and saw the milk, he was struck by wonder He asked: “From whence
came this milk? There is no milking sheep that can give even a single drop” She
ﺍﷲ א ﺍﷲ told him that a blessed man passed by, giving his physical description and his other
qualities He declared: “That is the man from Quraysh,” and swore by all that is
O Allah, scent his noble grave with an aromatic fragrance of blessings and peace divine That if he saw him he would believe in him, follow him and be close to
O Allah, bless him, grant him peace and barakah him He (Allah bless him and grant him peace) arrived in Madīnah on Monday the
twelfth of Rabī‘ al-Awwal Its pure sites were illumined by him The anşār met
ﺪ ﭐﷲ ﺒﻋ ﻩ ﺑﻮﺓ ﹶﺃ ﺭ ﻮ ﻨﻤ ﺔ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻨﺪﻳ ﻤ ﻲ ﹺﺑﭑﹾﻟ ﻮﱢﻓ ﺗ ﻳﺔﺮ ﹺﻭ ﻤ ﻮﺍ ﹺﻝ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻬﻮ ﹺﺭ ﭐ َﻷ ﹾﻗ ﺸ
ﻣ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﻥ ﺮﺍ ﻬ ﺷ ﻪ ﻠﻤ ﺣ ﻦ ﻣ ﻢ ﺗ ﻤﺎ ﻭﹶﻟ and welcomed him and he dismounted at Kuba (about two miles from Madīnah) where
he built a mosque upon his piety (taqwa)
ﻘﻴﻤﹰﺎ ـﻬﺮﹰﺍ ﺳ ـﻢ ﺷ ﻓﻴ ﹺﻬ ﺚ ﻣ ﹶﻜ ﹶ ﻭ ﻳﺔﺠﺎ ﹺﺭ
ﻨﺔ ﺍﻟ ﺋ ﹶﻔﻦ ﺍﻟ ﱠﻄﺎ ﻣ ﻱ ﺪ ﻋ ﺑﹺﻨﻲ ﻪ ﻟﻮﺍ ﺧ ﺯ ﹺﺑﹶﺄ ﺘﺎﺟ ﺪ ﭐ ﻭ ﹶﻛﺎ ﹶﻥ ﹶﻗ
ﻮﺍﻩ ﺷ ﹾﻜ ﻭ ﻪ ﻤ ﺳ ﹾﻘ ﻧﻮ ﹶﻥﻌﺎ ﻳ אא
ﺍﷲ א ﺍﷲ
T wo months after his conception, according to the most well-known narrations
His father, ‘Abd Allah, died in Madinah al-Munawwarah Passing by his uncles
on his mother’s side, Bani ‘Uday from the tribe of Bani Najjār He fell ill, and for a O Allah, scent his noble grave with an aromatic fragrance of blessings and peace
month remained among them while they tried to treat him O Allah, bless him, grant him peace and barakah
אא ﺔ ـﻉ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻘﺎﻣ ﺑﻮﺮ ﻣ ﻴﺔﺳﹺﻨ ﺕ ﺻ ﹶﻔﺎ ﻭ ﺕ ﺧﹸﻠﻘﹰﺎ ﹶﺫﺍ ﹶﺫﺍ ﻭ ﺧ ﹾﻠﻘﹰﺎ ﺱ ﻨﺎ ﹺﻤ ﹶﻞ ﺍﻟ ﻭ ﹶﻛﺎ ﹶﻥ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻛ
ﺍﷲ א ﺍﷲ
ـﺎﻩﺣﺎ ﹺﺟﺒ ﺞ ﺟ ﺰ ﺢ ﺍﻟ ﻣﹺﻨ ﺪ ﺷ ﹶﻔﺎ ﹺﺭ ﹶﻗ ﺏ ﭐ َﻷ ﺪ ﻫ ﻤﺎ ﹶﺃ ﻬ ﺤﹶﻠ ﻴ ﹺﻦ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻛﻨﻴﻌ ﻊ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺳ ﻭﺍ ﺓ ﺮ ﻤ ﺤ ﺮﺑﹰﺎ ﹺﺑ ﺸ ﻣ ﻥ ﻮ ﺾ ﺍﻟﱠﻠ ﻴﺑﹶﺃ
O Allah, scent his noble grave with an aromatic fragrance of blessings and peace ﻪ ـﻧﻔﻯ ﰲ ﹶﺃ ٰ ﻳﺮ ﻳ ﹺﻦﺪ ﺨ ﻬ ﹶﻞ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺳ ﻴﺔﻟﻼ
ﻫ ﹶ ﺔ ﻬ ﺒﺟ ﲔ ﹶﺫﺍ ﺠﹺﺒ ﹺ ﻊ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺳ ﻭﺍ ﻪ ﻨﺴ ﺣ ﻊ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻔ ﹺﻢ ﺳ ﻭﺍ ﻥ ﻨﺎﺳ ﺞ ﭐ َﻷ ﻣ ﹶﻔﱠﻠ
O Allah, bless him, grant him peace and barakah
ﺲ ﺩﻳ ﹺ ﺮﺍ ﻢ ﭐﻟﻜﹶـ ﺨ ﺿ ﻴ ﹺﻦﻂ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻜ ﱠﻔ ﺒ ﹶﺳ ﻴ ﹺﻦﺒﻜ ﻨﻤ ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻴﺑ ﻣﺎ ﺪ ﻌﻴ ﺑ ﻨﺎﻩﻴ ﹺﻦ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻗﻧﺮ ﻌ ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺴ
ﺣ ﺏ ﺪﺍ ﹴ ﺪﻳ ﺣ ﺾ ﭐ ﻌ ﺑ
ﻲ ﻠﺠ
ﻨﻳ ﻥ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻥ ﻣﺎ ﺰ ﻟﻠ ﻭﺁ ﹶﻥ ﻳﺔﻤ ﹺﺮ ﻬ ﹴﺮ ﹶﻗ ﺷ ﻌ ﹸﺔ ﹶﺃ ﺴ
ﺗ ﺮﺍ ﹺﺟ ﹺﺢ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﺍﻟ ﻪ ﺻﻞ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻠﻤ ﺣ ﻦ ﻣ ﻢ ﺗ ﻤﺎ ﻭﹶﻟ ﺓ ﻮ ﺒﻨﻢ ﺍﻟ ﺗﺧﺎ ﻪ ﻴﺘ ﹶﻔﻦ ﹶﻛ ﻴﺑﻭ ﻴﺔﺔ ﭐ ُﻷ ﹸﺫﹺﻧ ﻤ ﺤ ﺸ ﱃ ﺍﻟ ٰ ﻩ ﹺﺇ ﺮ ﻌ ﺷ ﺱ ﺮﹾﺃ ﹺ ﻢ ﺍﻟ ﻈﻴ ﻋ ﺔ ﻴﺤ ﺚ ﺍﻟﱢﻠ ﺐ ﹶﻛ ﱠ ﻘ ﹺ ﻌ ﺤ ﹺﻢ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻠﻴ ﹶﻞ ﹶﻟﹶﻗ
ﻴﺔـﺪﺳ ﺓ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹸﻘ ﲑ ـﺤﻈ ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻣ ﺓ ﻮ ﺴ ﻢ ﰲ ﹺﻧ ﻳﺮ ﻣ ﻭ ﻴ ﹸﺔﺳ ﻒ ﺁ ﺸ ﹺﺮﻳ ﻩ ﺍﻟ ﺪ ﻟﻮ ﻣ ﻴﹶﻠ ﹶﺔﻪ ﹶﻟ ﻣ ﺮ ﹸﺃ ﻀ
ﺣ ﺪﺍﻩ ﺻ
ﻪ ﻨﻋ ﻴﺔﻜ ﺴ ﻤ ﺕ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺤﺎ ﻨ ﹶﻔﻦ ﺍﻟ ﻣ ﺐ ﻴﻪ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻃ ﺮﹸﻓ ﻋ ﻭ ﺆﹸﻟ ﹺﺆ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹶﻛﺎﹸﻟ ﺮﹸﻗ ﻋ ﻭ ﻼﻩﻋ ﹶ ﻭ ﺭ ﻨﻮﻪ ﺍﻟ ﻤ ﻋ ﺪ ﹶﻗ
ﻨﺎﻩﺳ ﺘﹶﻠ ﹾﺄﹶﻟﹸﺄﻳ ﻧﻮﺭﹰﺍ ﻪ ﺻﻞ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺗﺪ ﻮﹶﻟ ﺽ ﹶﻓ ﺨﺎ
ﻤ ﺧ ﹶﺬﻫﺎ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻭﹶﺃ ﺢ ﻓـﺎﻳﺼ ﻭ ﹶﻛﺎ ﹶﻥ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳـﻠﻢ ﺗ ﹶﻘﺎﻩﺭ ﺐ ﭐ ﺒ ﹴﺻ ﻦ ﻣ ﺤﻂﱡ ﻨﻳ ﻤﺎ ﻧﻪ ﹶﻛﹶﺄ ﺘﻴﺸ ﻣ ﺘ ﹶﻜ ﱠﻔﹸﺄ ﰲﻳﻭ
ﻲ ـﹺﺒﺱ ﺍﻟﺼ ﺭﹾﺃ ﹺ ﻋﻠـ ٰﻰ ﻬﺎ ﻌ ـﻳﻀﻭ ﻳﺔﻬ ﹺﺮ ﺒﻋ ﺤ ﹰﺔ ﺋﺭﺍ ﻮ ﹺﻡ ﻴﺮ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺋﻬﺎ ﺳﺂ ﻨﻣ ﺪ ﺠ ﻴ ﹺﺔ ﹶﻓ ﺸ ﹺﺮﻳ ﹶﻔ
ﻩ ﺍﻟ ﺪ ﻴﺢ ﹺﺑ ﻓﺼﺎ ﻤ ﭐﹾﻟ
N ine lunar months passed after his conception, according to the numerous
traditions Now, time’s thirst for him would be quenched On the night of his
noble birth, Āsyah and Maryam with other women of paradise attended his mother ﻳﺔﺪ ﹺﺭ ﺒﺔ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻴﹶﻠﻤ ﹺﺮ ﰲ ﺍﻟﹶﻠ ﺆ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ ﺗﹶﻠ ﹾﺄﹸﻟ ﻒ ﺸ ﹺﺮﻳ ﻪ ﺍﻟ ﻬ ﺟ ﻭ ﺘﹶﻠ ﹾﺄﹶﻟﹸﺄﻳ ﺭﺍﻩ ﺪ ﻳﻭ ﺔ ﻴﺒﺼ ﻴ ﹺﻦ ﺍﻟﺑ ﻦ ﻣ ﻪ ﻪ ﹶﻟ ﺴ ﻣ ﻑ ﺮ ﻌ ﻴﹶﻓ
The moment labor pains began she gave birth to him (Allah’s blessings and peace be
upon him) as a radiance whose brilliance illuminates the world
ـﺎ ِﺀﺤﻴ ﺪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺪﻳ ـﻭ ﹶﻛﺎ ﹶﻥ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺷ ﺮﺍﻩ ﻳ ﺮ ﺸ
ﺑ ﻪ ﻣﹾﺜﹶﻠ ﻩ ﺪ ﻌ ﺑ ﻭ ﹶﻻ ﻪ ﺒﹶﻠﺭ ﹶﻗ ﻢ ﹶﺃ ﻪ ﹶﻟ ﺘﻋ ﻧﺎ ﻳ ﹸﻘﻮ ﹸﻝ
ﺐ
ـﻳﺤﻭ ﻳﺔﺳ ﹺﺮ ﺓ ﲑ ﺴ ِ ﻪ ﹺﺑ ﻠﻫ ﺔ ﹶﺃ ﻣ ﺪ ﺧ ﲑ ﰲ ﺴ ِ ﻳﻭ ﻪ ﺗﺷﺎ ﺐ ﺤﹸﻠ ﻳﻭ ﻪ ﺑﻮ ﻊ ﹶﺛ ﺮﹶﻗ ﻳﻭ ﻪ ﻌﹶﻠ ﻧ ﻒ
ﺼ ﺨ ﻳ ﺿ ﹺﻊ ﻮﺍ ﺘﻭﺍﻟ
ﻮﺍﻩ ـﻭﹶﺃﺷ ﺮ ﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻔ ﹾﻘ ﻌ ﺩﹶﻗ ﻘﲑﹰﺍ ﹶﺃ ﺮ ﹶﻓ ﻘ ﺤ ﻳ ﻭ ﹶﻻ ﻢ ﻫ ﺰ ﺋﻨﺎﺟ ﻊ ﻴﺸ ﻳﻭ ﻢ ﻫ ﺿﺎ ﺮ ﻣ ﺩ ﻌﻮ ﻳﻭ ﻢ ﻬ ﻌ ﻣ ﺲ ﻠﺠ ﻳﻭ ﲔ ﻛ ﺴﺎ ﻤ ﭐﹾﻟ
ﺏ
ﻬﺎ ﻳ ﻭ ﹶﻻ ﻳﺔﺩ ﺒﻮﻌ ﻭ ﹶﺫ ﹺﻭﻱ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺔ ﻣﹶﻠ ﺭ ﻊ ﭐ َﻷ ﻣ ﺸﻲ ﻤ ﻳﻭ ﻩ ﺮ ﻳ ﹾﻜ ﻤﺎ ﺣﺪﹰﺍ ﹺﺑ ﻳ ﹶﻘﺎﹺﺑ ﹸﻞ ﹶﺃ ﻭ ﹶﻻ ﺭ ﹶﺓ ﺬ ﻌ ﻤ ﺒ ﹸﻞ ﭐﹾﻟﻳ ﹾﻘﻭ
ـ ﹺﺮﻱﺧﻠﱡـﻮﺍ ﹶﻇﻬ ﻳﻘﹸـﻮ ﹸﻝﻭ ﻪ ﺤﺎﹺﺑ ﺻ ﻒ ﹶﺃ ﺧ ﹾﻠ ﺸﻲ ﻤ ﻳﻭ ﺿﺎﻩ ﻟ ﹺﺮ ﺮﺿ ٰﻰ ﻳﻭ ﱃ ٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ ﷲ ِ ِﺐ ﻀ ﻐ ﻳﻭ ﻙ ﻤﹸﻠﻮ ﭐﹾﻟ
٦ ٢٣
ﻢ ﻤﺎﻩ ﺛﹸـ ﺣ ﺐ ﻛ ﻨﺎﻌ ﻢ ﹺﻭﭐﹾﻟ ﺋﻤﺎ ﺤ ﻤﻲ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺤ ﺗ ﻼﺛﹰﺎ ﻪ ﹶﺛ ﹶ ﻓﻴ ﻣﺎ ﻭﹶﺃﹶﻗﺎ ﻴﺔﻌ ﻤ ﻪ ﹺﺑﺎﹾﻟ ﻴﻖ ﻓ ﺪﻳ ﺼ
ﺯ ﺍﻟ ﻭﹶﻓﺎ ﻮ ﹴﺭ ﺭ ﹶﺛ ﹶﻏﺎ ﻦ ﻛﹶـﺎ ﹶﻥ ﻤ ﻟ ﰉ
ٰ ﹶﻓﻄﹸﻮ ﺔﺭ ﹺﻭﻳ ﻭ ﺔ ﻳﺍﻣ ﹲﺔ ﺫﹸﻭﻭ ﹺﺭﻭ ﻒ ﹶﺃﹺﺇ
ﺸﺮﹺﻳ
ﻩ ﺍﻟ ﺪ ﻟﻮ ﻣ ﺫ ﹾﻛ ﹺﺮ ﺪ ﻨﻋ ﻡ ﺎﻘﻴ ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺴ
ﺤ
ﺘﺳ ﺪ ﭐ ﻭﹶﻗ ﻫﺬﹶﺍ
ﻪ ﻓﻴ ﻬ ﹶﻞ ﺘﺑﺮﺍﹶﻗ ﹸﺔ ﹶﻓﭑ ﺳ ﻪ ﺽ ﹶﻟ ﺮ ﻌ ﺗﻭ ﻴﺔﻄ ﻣ ﻴ ﹺﺮﺧ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﻮ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻫ ﻭ ﻴ ﹺﻦﻨﻴﹶﻠ ﹶﺔ ﭐ ِﻹﹾﺛﻪ ﹶﻟ ﻨﻣ ﺟﺎ ﺮ ﺧ ﺎﻩﺮﻣ ﻣ ﻭ ﻪ ﻣ ﺍﻣﺮ ﻳ ﹶﺔ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻏﹶﺎﻤﻪ ﻴﻌﻈ ﺗ
ـﺎﻩﻪ ﹺﺇﻳ ﺤ ﻨﻤ ﻣﺎ ﹶﻥ ﹶﻓ ﻪ ﭐ َﻷ ﺳﹶﺄﹶﻟ ﻭ ﺔ ﺒﺼ ﹾﻠ ﺽ ﺍﻟ ﺭ ﹺ ﻪ ﰲ ﭐ َﻷ ﺳ ﺮ ﻢ ﹸﻓ ﺋﻮﺍ ﺖ ﹶﻗ ﺧ ﺴﺎ ﹶﻓ ﻋﺎﻩ ﺩ ﻭ ﱃ ٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ ﷲِ ﱃﭐ ٰ ﹺﺇ Several imams of narration and knowledge say that standing at the mentioning of his
noble birth is preferred So paradise is for the one whose sole aim is to honor his
ﻢ ﻬﺎ ﹶﻓﻠﹶـ ﻨﻣ ﺤ ﹴﻢ ﻭ ﹶﻟ ﺒ ﹴﻦ ﹶﺃﻉ ﹶﻟ ﻴﺎﺘﺑﺩ ﭐ ﺭﺍ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻴﺔﻋ ﺰﺍ ﺨ
ﺪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺒﻌ ﻣ ﻡ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﹸﺃ ﺪ ﻳﺪ ﺮ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹺﺑ ﹸﻘ ﻣ ﻭ greatness
ﻬﺎ ﺧﱠﻠ ﹶﻔ ﺪ ﺖ ﹶﻗ ﻴﺒﺓ ﰲ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺷﺎ ﱃ ٰ ﺮ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹺﺇ ﻨ ﹶﻈﻮﺍﻩ ﹶﻓ ﺣ ﺪ ﻚ ﹶﻗ ﻟﻦ ﹶﺫ ﻣ ﻲ ٍﺀ ﺸ ﻟ ﻫﺎ ﺅ ﺒﺎﺧ ﻦ ﻳ ﹸﻜ
ﺢ ﺴ ﻤ ﹶﻓ ﻨﺎﻩﺒﺻ
ﺐ َ َﻷ ﺣ ﹾﻠ ﻬﺎ ﻮ ﹶﻛﺎ ﹶﻥ ﹺﺑ ﺖ ﹶﻟ ﻭﹶﻗﺎﹶﻟ ﺖ ﻧﺫ ﻬﺎ ﹶﻓﹶﺄ ﺣ ﹾﻠﹺﺒ ﻬﺎ ﰲ ﻧﺘ ﹾﺄ ﹶﺫﺳ ﹶﻓﭑ ﻴﺔﻋ ﺮ ﻋ ﹺﻦ ﺍﻟ ﺪ ﻬ ﺠ
ﭐﹾﻟ אא
ﺳﻘ ٰﻰ ﻭ ﺐ ﺤﹶﻠ ﺕ ﹶﻓ ﺭ ﺪ ﹶﻓ ﻴﻪﻟﻭ ﻭ ﻩ ﻮ ﹶﻻ ﻣ ﱃٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ ﷲ َ ﻋﺎ ﭐ ﺩ ﻭ ﺔ ﺸ ﹺﺮﻳ ﹶﻔ ﻩ ﺍﻟ ﺪ ﻴﻬﺎ ﹺﺑ ﻋ ﺮ ﺿ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺍﷲ א ﺍﷲ
ﻳ ﹰﺔﻬﺎ ﺁ ﺪﻳ ﻩ ﹶﻟ ﺭ ﺩ ﻭ ﹶﻏﺎ ﻧﺎ َﺀﻸ ﭐ ِﻹ َ ﻣ ﻭ ﺐ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺣﹶﻠ ﻢ ﻭﺍﻩ ﹸﺛ ﺭ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻮ ﹺﻡ ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ ﻣ ﺐ ﺻ ﻭ ﻦ ﻣ ﻞ ﹸﻛ
O Allah, scent his noble grave with an aromatic fragrance of blessings and peace
ﻭ ﹶﻻ ـ ﹶﺬﺍﻚ ﻫ ﻧﻰ ﹶﻟﻭﹶﻗﺎ ﹶﻝ ﹶﺃ ﺼﺎﻩ ﱃ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻗ ٰ ﺐ ﹺﺇ ﺠ ﻌ ﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺐ ﹺﺑ
ﻫ ﻦ ﹶﻓ ﹶﺬ ﺒﺭﹶﺃﻯ ﺍﻟﱠﻠ ﻭ ﺪ ﺒﻌ ﻣ ﺑﻮﺟﺎ َﺀ ﹶﺃ ﻭ ﻴﺔﻠﺟ O Allah, bless him, grant him peace and barakah
ﻨﺎﻩﻌ ﻣ ﻭ ﻪ ﻧﻤﺎ ﺟﹾﺜ ﻭ ﹶﻛ ﹶﺬﺍ ﻙ ﹶﻛ ﹶﺬﺍ ﺭ ﺒﺎﻣ ﺟ ﹲﻞ ﺭ ﻨﺎﺮ ﹺﺑ ﻣ ﺖ ﹶﻓ ﹶﻘﺎﹶﻟ ﻴﺔﺒﹺﻨﻟ ﺓ ﺮ ﺾ ﹺﺑ ﹶﻘ ﹾﻄ
ﺗﹺﺒ ﺖ ﻴﺒﺏ ﰲ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺣﹸﻠﻮ
Recite the Fātiĥah and make a du‘ā
ـﺎﻩﺩﺍﻧ ﻭ ﻪ ﻌ ﺒﺗﻭﭐ ﻪ ﻦ ﹺﺑ ﻣ ﻩ ﻵ ﺭﺁ ﻮ ﻪ ﹶﻟ ﻧﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﹶﺃ ﻴﺔﻢ ﹺﺑ ﹸﻜ ﱢﻞ ﹺﺇﹶﻟ ﹺﻬ ﺴ
ﻭﹶﺃ ﹾﻗ ﺶ ﻳ ﹴﺮ ﺐ ﹸﻗ ﺣ ﺻﺎ ﻫ ﹶﺬﺍ ﻬﺎ ﹶﻓ ﹶﻘﺎ ﹶﻝ ﹶﻟ
ﻴﺔﻛ ﺰ ﻫﺎ ﺍﻟ ﺅ ﺟﺎ ﺭ ﻪ ﹶﺃ ﺖ ﹺﺑ ﺮﹶﻗ ﺷ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻭ ﹺﻝ ﺭﹺﺑﻴ ﹴﻊ ﭐ َﻷ ﺮ ﺸ ﻋ ﻴ ﹺﻦ ﹶﺛﺎﹺﻧﻲﻨﻡ ﭐ ِﻹﹾﺛ ﻮ ﻳ ﻨ ﹶﺔﺪﻳ ﻤ ﻡ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺪ ﻭﹶﻗ
ﻮﺍﻩ ﺗ ﹾﻘ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﻫﺎ ﺪ ﺠ ﺴﹺ ﻣ ﺲ ﺳ ﻭﹶﺃ ﺒﺎ ٍﺀﺰ ﹶﻝ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹺﺑ ﹸﻘ ﻧﻭ ﺭ ﺼﺎ ﻧﻩ ﭐ َﻷ ﺗﹶﻠ ﱠﻘﺎﻭ
ﻚ ﻟﻴﹰﺎ ﹺﺑ ٰﺬﻮﻣﻴﺔ ﻣﻠﻌ ﻤﺎ ِﺀ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺴ ﱃ ﺍﻟ ٰ ﻪ ﹺﺇ ﺳ ﺭﹾﺃ ﻓﻌﹰﺎﺭﺍ ﺽ ﺭ ﹺ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﭐ َﻷ ﻪ ﺪﻳ ﻳ ﻌﹰﺎﺍﺿﺯ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻭ ﺮ ﺑﻭ
W hile the unbelievers were watching him (Allah bless him and grant him peace)
in order to carry out their plan to kill him, Allah gave him permission to
emigrate He came out to them and threw upon their heads dust Then he headed
ﺬﻱ ﺐ ﺍﻟﱠـ ﺤﹺﺒﻴـ ﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻧﻭﹶﺃ ﻳﺔﺒ ﹺﺮﺋ ﹺﺮ ﭐﹾﻟﺳﺎ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﻩ ﺪ ﹺﺭ ﺔ ﹶﻗ ﻌ ﱃ ﹺﺭ ﹾﻓ
ٰ ﺸﲑﹰﺍ ﹺﺇ ﻣ ﻭ ﻋﻼﻩ ﻭ ﻩ ﺩ ﺩ ﺆ ﺳ ﱃ ٰ ﺮ ﹾﻓ ﹺﻊ ﹺﺇ ﺍﻟ
straight for the cave of Thawr (ghār: small opening in a mountain, as opposed to kahf ـ ﹶﻞﹶﻓﹶﺄ ﹾﻗﺒ ـﺔﺒﹺﻨﻴﻚ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺗﻴﻬﺎ ﻑ ﹺﺑ ﻳ ﹸﻄﻮ ﻮ ﻫ ﻭ ﺐ ﻠ ﹺﻤ ﱠﻄ ﺪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺒﻋ ﻪ ﻣ ﺖ ﹸﺃ ﻋ ﺩ ﻭ ﻳﺎﻩﺠﺎ ﺳ ﻭ ﻪ ﻋ ﺒﺎﻃ ﺖ ﻨﺴ ﺣ
which is a large cave) wherein the Şiddīq won the opportunity of being in the company
(of Allah and His Messenger; see Surat Tawbah, ayah ٤٠: “Grieve not, surely Allah is ـﺔﻨﻴﺹ ﺍﻟ ﺨﹸﻠﻮ ﹺ ﻋﻮ ﹺﺑ ﺪ ﻳ ﻡ ﻭﹶﻗﺎ ﺮﺍ َﺀ ﻐ ﺒ ﹶﺔ ﭐﹾﻟﻌ ﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻜ ﺧﹶﻠ ﺩ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻨﺎﻩﻣ ﺮﻭ ﹺﺭ ﺴ ﻦ ﺍﻟ ﻣ ﺑﹶﻠ ﹶﻎﻭ ﻪ ﺮ ﹺﺇﹶﻟﻴ ﻧ ﹶﻈﻭ ﺴ ﹺﺮﻋﹰﺎ ﻣ
with us”) There they remained for three days in the protection of the pigeons and
spiders They left it the night of Monday (meaning, between Sunday after maghrib ﻉ
ﻣ ﹾﻘﻄﹸـﻮ ﻮﻧﹰﺎﺨﺘ ﻣ ﻴﻔﹰﺎﻧﻈ ﺪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻟﻭﻭ ﻋ ﹶﻄﺎﻩ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻪ ﻦ ﹺﺑ ﻣ ﻣﺎ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﱃ ٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ ﷲ َ ﺮ ﭐ ﺸ ﹸﻜ ﻳﻭ
and Monday morning before fajr) upon a good female camel (On the way) when
Surāqah came upon him (on horseback with the intention of capturing him), he (Allah ﺪ ـﻋﺒ ﻩ ﺪ ﺟ ﻪ ﻨﺘﺧ ﻗﻴ ﹶﻞﻭ ﻨﺎﻩﻴﻋ ﺔ ﻳﻨﺎﻌ ﺤ ﹺﻞ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺤﻮﹶﻟ ﹰﺔ ﹺﺑ ﹸﻜ ﻣ ﹾﻜ ﻴﻨﹰﺎﺩﻫ ﺒﹰﺎﹶﻃﻴ ﻴﺔﺓ ﭐ ِﻹﹶﻟ ﹺﻬ ﺭ ﺪ ﺪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹸﻘ ﻴﺮ ﹺﺑ ﺴ

bless him and grant him peace) earnestly asked Allah’s protection from him Then
the legs of Surāqah’s horse began to sink into the firm ground, whereupon he asked for
ﻮﺍﻩ ﻣﹾﺜ ﻡ ﺮ ﻭﹶﺃ ﹶﻛ ﻤﺪﹰﺍ ﺤ ﻣ ﻩ ﻤﺎ ﺳ ﻭ ﻢ ﻌ ﻭﹶﺃ ﹾﻃ ﻢ ﻭﹶﻟ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻳﺔﺳ ﹺﻮ ﻴﺎ ﹴﻝﺒ ﹺﻊ ﹶﻟﺳ ﺪ ﻌ ﺑ ﺐ ﻠ ﹺﻤ ﱠﻄ ﭐﹾﻟ

her they would have milked her But at his touch, it filled up with milk and he came quickly and looked at him with utmost pleasure Then he took him inside the
milked her and everyone present drank to their satisfaction Then he milked the

Ka‘bah, the Noble and Unique, and stood making du‘a with sincere intention
Thanking Allah, the Exalted, for what He gave freely and with His pleasure He
ﻪ ﻦ ﹺﺑ ﻣ ﻴﺔ ﹶﻓﺂﻤ ﺳ ﻮ ﻤ ﻳﺎ ﹺﻡ ﭐﹾﻟﷲ ﰲ ﭐ َﻷ ِ ﺳﻮ ﹸﻝ ﭐ ﺭ ﻪ ﻧﺋ ﹺﻞ ﹺﺑﹶﺄﺒﺎﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺴ ﻧ ﹾﻔ ﺽ ﺮ ﻋ ﻢ ﹸﺛ
(Allah bless him and grant him peace) was born clean, circumcised, the embilical cord ﻩ ﻌﻮ ﻳـﺎﻭﺑ ﻼ ﺟ ﹰ ﺭ ﺮ ﺸ ﻋ ﲎ ٰ ﻢ ﰲ ﭐﻟ ﹶﻘﺎﺑ ﹺﻞ ﭐﹾﺛ ﻬ ﻨﻣ ﺞ ﺣ ﻭ ﺿﺎﻩ ﱃ ﹺﺑ ﹺﺮ
ٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ ﷲ ُ ﻢ ﭐ ﻬ ﺼ
ﺘﺧ ﺼﺎ ﹺﺭ ﭐ ﻧﻦ ﭐ َﻷ ﻣ ﺘ ﹲﺔﺳ
cut by the hand of Divine Power Scented, oiled, and with the kohl of divine care on
his eyes It is also said that he was circumcised seven nights after his birth by his ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻴﻋﹶﻠ ﻡ ﺪ ﻭﹶﻗ ﻭﺍﻩ ﻣ ﹾﺄ ﻭ ﻪ ﻘﹶﻠ ﻌ ﻣ ﺖ
ﻧﺔ ﹶﻓ ﹶﻜﺎ ﻨﺪﻳ ﻤ ﻡ ﹺﺑﺎﹾﻟ ﻼﺳ ﹶ ﺮ ﭐ ِﻹ ﻬ ﻭ ﹶﻇ ﺮﹸﻓﻮﺍ ﺼ
ﻧﻢ ﭐ ﻴﺔ ﹸﺛﻘ ﺣ ﻌ ﹰﺔ ﻴﺑ
grandfather, ‘Abd al-Muţţalib Who served a feast and fed the people and named
him Muhammad, and honoring him in his abode ـﺔﺭ ﹺﺟﻴ ﺰ ﺨ
ﭐﹾﻟﺔ ﻭ ﻴـﻭﺳ ﺋ ﹺﻞ ﭐ َﻷﺒﺎﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ ﻣ ﻥ ﺗﺎﺮﹶﺃ ﻣ ﻭﭐ ﻼﹶﺛ ﹲﺔ ﻭ ﹶﺛ ﹶ ﺴ ﹲﺔ ﹶﺃ
ﻤ ﺧ ﻭ ﻌﻮ ﹶﻥ ﺒﺳ ﺚ ﻟﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﰲ ﺍﻟﱠﺜﺎ
אא ﺔ ﻤﻠﱠـ ﻭ ﭐﹾﻟﻣﻜﱠـ ﹶﺔ ﹸﺫﻭ ﻦ ـﻴﻬﹺﻢ ﻣﺮ ﹺﺇﹶﻟ ﺟ ﻫﺎ ﻭ ﺮﺍﻩ ﺳ ﺤ ﹰﺔ ﺤﺎ ﹺﺟ ﺟ ﻘﻴﺒﹰﺎ ﻧ ﺮ ﺸ ﻋ ﲎٰ ﻢ ﭐﹾﺛ ﻴ ﹺﻬﻋﹶﻠ ﺮ ﻣ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻩ ﻌﻮ ﻳﺒﺎﹶﻓ
ﺍﷲ ﺍﷲ ﺶ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻥ ﻳﺮ ﺖ ﻗﹸـ ﺧﺎﹶﻓ ﻭ ﻭﺍﻩ ﻧﺎﻭ ﺮ ﺮ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹸﻜ ﹾﻔ ﺠ ﻫ ﻦ ﻤ ﻟ ﺪ ﻋ ﻤﺎ ﹸﺃ ﻓﻴ ﺒ ﹰﺔﺭ ﹾﻏ ﻭ ﹶﻃﺎ ﹶﻥ ﺭﹸﻗﻮﺍ ﭐ َﻷ ﻭﹶﻓﺎ ﻴﺔﻣ ﻼ
ﺳ ﹶ ﭐ ِﻹ
א
ﻢ ﻫ ﺪ ﻴﻣﻦ ﹶﻛ ﱃ ٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ ﷲُ ﻪ ﭐ ﻔ ﹶﻈ ﺤ
ﻪ ﹶﻓ ﻠﺘﺮﻭﺍ ﹺﺑ ﹶﻘ ﻤ ﺗﹶﻓ ﹾﺄ ﻳﺔﻮ ﹺﺭ ﻠ ٰﻰ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻔﻪ ﻋ ﺤﺎﹺﺑ
ﺻ ﻖ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹺﺑﹶﺄ ﺤ ﻳ ﹾﻠ
O Allah, scent his noble grave with an aromatic fragrance of blessings and peace
O Allah, bless him, grant him peace and barakah ﺠﺎﻩ
ﻧﻭ
ﻪ ـﻼﻣﹰﺎ ﹺﺑﹶﺄﻧﻭﹺﺇﻋ ﻪ ﺗﻮ ﻨﺒﻟ ﺎﺻﹰﺎﺭﻫ ﺔ ﹺﺇﻴﹺﺒﻴﺐ ﹶﻏ ﺋﺍﻭ ﹶﻏﺮ ﺍ ﹺﺭﻕﺧﻮ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺗﺩ ﺪ ﹺﻭ ﹶﻻ ﻨﻋ ﺮ ﻬ ﻭ ﹶﻇ D uring the hajj days (note: even before Islam, at a specific time of the year, people
gathered to visit the Ka‘bah) he (Allah bless him and grant him peace) presented
himself to the tribes as the Messenger of Allah Allah showed His pleasure with six
ﺱ ﻨﻔﹸـﻮ ﹺﻭ ﹸﺫﻭﻭ ﺍﻟ ﺩ ﹸﺓ ﺮ ــﺎ ﭐﹾﻟﻤﻨﻬﻋ ﺩ ﺭ ﻭ ﺣﻔﹾﻈـﹰﺎ ﺎ ُﺀـﻤﺕ ﺍﻟﺴ ﺪ ﻳﹶﻓ ﹺﺰ ﺎﻩﺘﺒﺠ ﻭﻣ ﱃ ٰ ﺎﺗﻌ ﷲ ِ ﺭ ﭐ ﺎﺨﺘ ﻣ of the anşār (six from Madinah) whom He distinguished by their belief in him (Allah
ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴـﻪ ﻴﺖ ﹺﺇﹶﻟ ﺪﱠﻟ ﺗﻭ ﺮﻗﹶﺎﻩ ﻣ ﺎ ﹺﻝﺭﺟﹺﻴ ﹴﻢ ﰲ ﺣ ﺕ ﹸﻛ ﱠﻞ ﺍﻴﺮﻨﻡ ﺍﻟ ﺠﻮ ﻧ ﺖ ﻤ ﺟ ﺭ ﻭ ﻴﺔﻴ ﹶﻄﺎﹺﻧﺸ
ﺍﻟ bless him and grant him peace) Then twelve men from them (i.e., Madinah)
performed the hajj (the next year) with the tribes and took a true bay‘ah (oath of
ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴـﻪ ﻌ ﻣ ﺝ ﺮ ﺧ ﻭ ﺎﻩﺑﻭﺭ ﺮ ﹺﻡ ﺤ ﺩ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺎﻭﻫ ﺎﻮ ﹺﺭﻫﺕ ﹺﺑﻨ ﺭ ﺎﺘﻨﺳ ﭐﺔ ﻭﻫ ﹺﺮﻳ ﺰ ﺍﻟﻢﻧﺠﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﭐ َﻷ allegiance) from him They returned and Islam appeared in Madīnah, eventually
becoming his stronghold and residence The third time they came as ٧٥, or ٧٣ and
ﻉ ﺪ ﺼ ﻧﻭﭐ ﺎﻩﻐﻨ ﻣ ﻭ ﺭﻩ ﺍﻣﻜﱠ ﹶﺔ ﺩ ﺡ ﻦ ﹺﺑﻄﹶﺎ ﹺ ﻣ ﺎﺔ ﻓﹶﺮﺁﻫﺼ ﹺﺮﻳ ﻴﺎ ﹺﻡ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻘﺭ ﺍﻟﺸ ﻮ ﹸﻗﺼﺕ ﹶﻟﻪ ﺎ َﺀﺭ ﹶﺃﺿ ﻧﻮ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ two women, from the tribes of Aws and Khazraj They took bay‘ah from him (Allah
bless him and grant him peace) and then he chose twelve of them who were nobles and
ﻊ ـﺭﺑ ﻂ ﹶﺃ ـ ﹶﻘ ﹶﻭﺳ ﺍﻩﺳﻮ ﻭ ﻤ ﹶﻜﻪ ﺳ ﺍ ﹸﻥﺮﻭ ﺷ ﻮﻊ ﹶﺃﻧ ﺭﹶﻓ ﻱﺔ ﺍﱠﻟﺬﺮ ﹺﻭﻳ ﺴ ﻜ ﺋ ﹺﻦ ﭐﹾﻟﺍﻤﺪ ﻯ ﺑﹺﺎﹾﻟ ٰ ﺮﻛﺴ ﺍ ﹸﻥﻳﻮﹺﺇ masters to be their amīrs And then the Islamic millah (people practicing the way of
Islam) of Makkah emigrated to them They separated themselves from their
ﺕ ﺪ ﻤ ﺧ ﻭ ﺍﻩﻋﺮ ﻭ ﺑﻪﺎﺎ ﹶﺃﺻﻮ ﹺﻝ ﻣﻟﻬ ﻯ ٰ ﺮﻛﺴ ﻚ ﻠﻤ ﺮ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺳ ﹺﺮﻳ ﺮ ﺴ ِ ﻭ ﹸﻛ ﺔﻌ ﹾﻠ ﹺﻮﻳ ﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺗﺮﻓﹶﺎ ﺷ ﻦ ﻣ ﺮ ﺸ ﻋ ﻭ homelands desiring what had been prepared for the one who denounces kufr and
flees The Quraysh, fearing that he (Allah bless him and grant him peace) would
ﺮ ﹸﺓ ﻴﺤ
ﺑ ﺖ ﺿ ﻭ ﹶﻏﺎ ﺎﻩﺤﻴ
ﻣ ﻕ ﺍ ﹺﺷﺮ ﻭﹺﺇ ﹺﻨ ﹺﲑﻩ ﭐﹾﻟﻤ ﺪ ﹺﺭ ﺑ ﻉ ﻟ ﹸﻄﻠﹸﻮ ﹺ ﺔﺳﻴ ﻚ ﭐﹾﻟﻔﹶﺎ ﹺﺭ
ﻟﺎﻤﻤ ﺩﺓﹸ ﺑﹺﺎﹾﻟ ﻮﻌﺒ ﻤ ﺍ ﹸﻥ ﭐﹾﻟﻨﲑﺍﻟ soon join his Companions Plotted to kill him, so Allah the Exalted protected and
ﺝ ـﺎ ﹺﻬﺎ ﺍﻟﱠﺜﺠ ﻮ ﹺﺟ ﻣ ﻒ ﻛ ﻭﺍ ﻒ ﺖ ﹺﺇ ﹶﺫ ﹶﻛ ﺟ ﱠﻔ ﻭ ﺔﻤﻴ ﺠ
ﻌ ﺩ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻼ
ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟﹺﺒ ﹶ ﻣ ﻢ ﻭﹸﻗ ﻤ ﹶﺬﺍ ﹶﻥ ﻫ ﻦ ﻴﺑ ﺖ ﻧﻭ ﹶﻛﺎ ﻭ ﹶﺓ ﺳﺎ saved him from their deceit
ﺒﻞﹸﻦ ﹶﻗ ﻣ ﺎﻦ ﹺﺑﻬ ﻳ ﹸﻜ ﻢ ﻳﺔ ﹶﻟﺑ ﹺﺮﻭ ﺓ ﻼ ﺯ ﹲﺓ ﰲ ﹶﻓ ﹶ ﻣ ﹶﻔﺎ ﻲ ﻫ ﻭ ﻭ ﹶﺓ ﺎﺳﻤ ﺩﻱ ﻭﺍ ﺽ ﻭﹶﻓﺎ ﻴﺎﻩﻤ ﻚ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺗﻴﻫﺎ ﻊ ﻨﺎﹺﺑﻴﻳ אא

ﺍ ﹺﻌﺮ ﻑ ﺑﹺـﺎﹾﻟ ﻭـﺮﻤﻌ ﺿ ﹺﻊ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻮ ﻤ ﻩ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺑﹺﺎﹾﻟ ﺪ ﻟﻮ ﻣ ﻭ ﹶﻛﺎ ﹶﻥ ﺎﻩﻥ ﺍﻟﱠﻠﻬ ﻠﻈﱠﻤﺂ ﻟﻨ ﹶﻘﻊﻳ ﺎ ٌﺀﻣ ﺍﷲ א ﺍﷲ
ﻪ ـﺩﺗ ﻋﺎ ﹺﻡ ﹺﻭ ﹶﻻ ﻒ ﰲ ﻠﺘﺧ ﻭﭐ ﻼﻩ ﺧ ﹶ ﺘﻠ ٰﻰﺨ ﻳ ﻭ ﹶﻻ ﻩ ﺮ ﺠ ﺷ ﺪ ﻀ ﻌ ﻳ ﺬﻱ ﹶﻻ ﺮﺍ ﹺﻡ ﭐﱠﻟ ﺤ ﺪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺒﹶﻠﻭﭐﹾﻟ ﺔﻤ ﱢﻜﻴ ﭐﹾﻟ O Allah, scent his noble grave with an aromatic fragrance of blessings and peace
ﺠ ﹺﺮ ﻴ ﹶﻞ ﹶﻓﺒﻬﺎ ﹸﻗ ﻧﺢ ﹶﺃ ﺮﺍ ﹺﺟ ﻭﺍﻟ ﺔﺮ ﹺﻭﻳ ﻣ ﺎ ِﺀﻌﹶﻠﻤ ﻟ ﹾﻠ ﺍ ﹴﻝﻠ ٰﻰ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻗﻮﻬﺎ ﻋﻮﻣ ﻳ ﻭﰲ ﻫﺎ ﻬ ﹺﺮ ﺷ ﻭﰲ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ O Allah, bless him, grant him peace and barakah
ﺮ ﹺﻡ ــ ﹺﻦ ﭐﹾﻟﺤﱃ ﻋ ٰ ـﺎﺗﻌ ﷲ ُ ﻩ ﭐ ـﺪﺬﻱ ﺻ ﻔﻴ ﹺﻞ ﭐﻟﱠـ ﻋﺎ ﹺﻡ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻦ ﻣ ﻭ ﹺﻝ ﺭﹺﺑﻴ ﹺﻊ ﭐ َﻷ ﻬ ﹺﺮ ﺷ ﺮ ﺸ ﻋ ﻴ ﹺﻦ ﹶﺛﺎﹺﻧﻲﻨﻮ ﹺﻡ ﭐ ِﻹﹾﺛ ﻳ ﻢ ﻤ ﹺﻬ ﻋ ﺰ ﻩ ﹺﺑ ﺩﻭ ﻴﻮ ﹺﺭﻟ ﺸ ﹺﺮ ﹸﻛﻮ ﹶﻥ
ﻤ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺒﺮﹶﻗ ﺓ ﹶﻓ ﺮ ﺠ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﰲ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹺﻬ ﺫ ﹶﻥ ﹶﻟ ﻭﹶﺃ
ﺎﻩﺣﻤ ﻭ ﻡ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳـﻠﻢ ﻭﹶﺃ ﺣﹶﺜﺎﻩ ﻭ ﺏ
ﺮﺍ ﺘﻢ ﺍﻟ ﺳ ﹺﻬ ﺅ ﺭ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﺮ ﻧﹶﺜﻭ ﻢ ﻴ ﹺﻬﻋﹶﻠ ﺝ
ﺮ ﺨ
ﻴﺔ ﹶﻓﻤﹺﻨ ﺽ ﭐﹾﻟ
ﻴﺎﺣ

ﻴﺔﻠﻤ ﻋ ﺲﻤ ﹴ ﺧ ﱃ
ٰ ﺕ ﹺﺇ
ﺩ ﺮ ﻀ ﹺﻞ ﹶﻓ
ﺏ ﭐﻟ ﹶﻔ
ﺤﺎ
ﻪ ﹺﻭ ﺘﻴﹶﻠﺩ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﰲ ﹶﻟ ﻋﺎ ﻢ ﻀﺎﻩ ﹸﺛ
ﺳ ﻬ ﱠﻞ ﻧﻢ ﭐ ﻼﺓ ﹸﺛ ﺻﹶ ﲔ ﺴ
ِ ﻤ ﺧ ﻪ ﺘﻣ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﹸﺃ ﻭ ﻪ ﻴﻋﹶﻠ ﺽ
ﻭﹶﻗ ﺯ ﹺﻝ ﻩ ﰲ ﭐ َﻷ ﺷﺎ َﺀ ﻤﺎ ﲔ ﹶﻛ ﺴ ِ ﻤ ﺨ
ﺮ ﻭﹶﻓ
ﺮ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺟ ﻬﺎ ﹶﺃ ﻭﹶﻟ
A t his birth abnormal and strange events appeared In order to facilitate his
prophethood and notify (the world) that he is Allah’s Chosen One Heaven (al-
samā’a) was increased in protection and the vicious and powerful jinn and those
humans with devilish natures (nafs) were driven away The luminous stars stoned
ﻴ ﹶﻄﺎ ﹸﻥـﻪ ﺍﻟﺸ ـﱠﻠﻦ ﹶﺃﺿ ـﺪ ﻣ ـﺭﺗ ﻭﭐ ﺶ ﻳﺮ ﻪ ﹸﻗ ﺘﺑﻭ ﹶﻛ ﱠﺬ ﻳﺔﺭ ﹺﻭ ﻭ ﻋ ﹾﻘ ﹴﻞ ﺫﻱ ﻭ ﹸﻛﻞﱡ ﺮﺍﻩ ﺴ
ﻤ ﻖ ﹺﺑ ﺪﻳ ﺼ ﺍﻟ every accursed one at his raising himself And then lowered themselves to him in
nuturing love By their light the valleys and hills of the Haram (Makkah) were
ﻮﺍﻩ ﻭﹶﺃ ﹾﻏ illuminated A light came out with him (Allah bless him and grant him peace)
illuminating the Roman castles of Sham for him And thus he saw from the valleys
T hen, while awake, he (Allah bless him and grant him peace) was taken on a night
journey, with his spirit (rūĥ) and body, from the Mosque of the Ĥarām (in
Makkah) to the Mosque of al-Aqsā (in Jerusalem) and its sacred precinct He was
of Makkah, his home That the Persian palace at Mada’in had cracked

grant him peace) returned in the same night and the Şiddīq believed him (when he had O Allah, bless him, grant him peace and barakah
told others) about his night journey As do all who possess intellect and the capacity
to reflect While the Quraysh didn’t believe him and some apostated whom the ﲔ ـﺐ ﺣ ﻬ ﹴ ﻮ ﹶﻟﺘﻘﹶﻬﺎ ﹸﺃﺑﻋ ﻲ ﹶﺃﺔ ﭐﱠﻟﺘﻤﻴ ﺳﹶﻠ ﺒ ﹸﺔ ﺍﻷﻳﻮ ﺛﹸﺘﻪﻌ ﺿ ﺭ ﹶﺃﻳﺎﻣﹰﺎ ﹸﺛﻢﻪ ﹶﺃ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹸﺃﻣﺘﻪﻌ ﺿ ﺭ ﻭﹶﺃ
Shayţān led astray and lured
ﺡ
ﻭ ﹴـﺮﻣﺴ ﺑﻨﹺﻬﺎﻊ ﭐ ﻣ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢﺘﻪﻌ ﺿ ﺭ ﺍﻩ ﹶﻓﹶﺄﺸﺮ ﻩ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹺﺑﺒ ﺩ ﻼ ﻴ ﹶﻣ ﺪ ﻨﻋ ﺘﻪﺍﹶﻓﻭ
אא ﻭﻛﹶـﺎ ﹶﻥ ﺍﻩﺳﺮ ﻳ ﹺﻦﺪ ﺓ ﺍﻟ ﺮ ﺼ ﺪ ﰲ ﻧ ﻤ ﻱ ﺣﺰ ﹶﺓ ﭐﱠﻟﺬ ﻤ ﺣ ﺒﹶﻠﻪﺖ ﹶﻗ ﻌ ﺿ ﺭ ﻭﹶﺃ ﺔﻔﻴ ﺣ ﻪ ﻲ ﹺﺑ ﻫ ﻭ ﻤ ﹶﺔ ﺳﹶﻠ ﻭﹶﺃﺑﹺﻲ
ﺍﷲ א ﺍﷲ
ـﺎﻴ ﹶﻜﹶﻠﻬﻫ ﺩ ﺭ ﻭ ﱃ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻥ ﹶﺃ ٰ ﺔ ﹺﺇﺣ ﹺﺮﻳ ﺎﻲ ﹺﺑﻬ ﻫ ﺓ ﻮ ﺴ ﻛ ﻭ ﺔ ﺼﹶﻠ ﺔ ﹺﺑ ﻨﻳﺪ ﻤ ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻣ ﺎﻴﻬﻌﺚﹸ ﹺﺇﹶﻟ ﺒﻳ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ
O Allah, scent his noble grave with an aromatic fragrance of blessings and peace
O Allah, bless him, grant him peace and barakah
ﺖ
ـﺖ ﹶﺃﹾﺛﺒ ﻤ ـﹶﻠﻴـ ﹶﻞ ﹶﺃﺳﻭﻗ ﺔﻠﻴﻫ ﺎﺔ ﭐﹾﻟﺠ ﻔﹶﺌ ﺎ ﭐﹾﻟﻣﻬ ﻮ ﻳ ﹺﻦ ﹶﻗﻠ ٰﻰ ﺩﻴ ﹶﻞ ﻋﺍﻩ ﻗﺍﺭﻭﻭ ﻀﺮﹺﻳ ﹺﺢ ﻥ ﺍﻟ ﻮﻤﻨ ﭐﹾﻟﺋﺪﺍﺭ
ﺪ ﻭﻛﹶﺎ ﹶﻥ ﹶﻗ ﻤ ﹸﺔ ﺍﻟ ﻴﺣﻠ ﺎ ﹸﺓ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻔﺘﺘﻪﻌ ﺿ
ﺔﺪﻳ ﻌ ﺴ ﺭ ﹶﺃﺣﻜﹶﺎﻩ ﹸﺛﻢ ﻭ ﺪﻩ ﻨﻦ ﻣ ﺑﻑ ﭐ ﻼ ﺨﹶ ﭐﹾﻟ
ﺭ ﺩ ﺪﺭ ﺎ ﺑﹺـﻬﺪﻳ ﺭ ﹶﺛ ﺩ ﻭ ﺔ ﻴﺸ
ﻌ ﺒ ﹶﻞ ﭐﹾﻟﺤ ﹺﻞ ﹶﻗ ﻤ ﺪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻌ ﺑ ﺎﻬﻴﺸﻋ ﺐ ﺼ ﺧ ﺎﻩ ﹶﻓﹶﺄﻭﹶﺃﺑ ﺎﻟ ﹶﻔ ﹾﻘ ﹺﺮﻫ ﺎﻳﻬﺪ ﻮ ﹺﻡ ﹶﺛ ﺩ ﹸﻛ ﱞﻞ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ ﺭ

ﻑ
ـﺎ ﹺﺭﺖ ﺍﻟﺸ ﻨﻤ ﺳ ﻭ ﺔﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻔ ﹾﻘ ﹺﺮ ﹶﻏﹺﻨﻴﺍ ﹺﻝ ﻭﻬﺰ ﺪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻌ ﺑ ﺖ ﺤ ﺒﺻ ﻭﹶﺃ ﺎﻩ ﹶﺃﺧﺧﺮ ﻦ ﭐ َﻷ ﺒﻭﹶﺃﹾﻟ ﺎﻬﻤ ﻨﻣ ﻤﲔ ﻴ ﭐﹾﻟﻨﻪﺒﹶﻟ harm him, and so for a time he was protected First, he (Allah bless him and grant
him peace) was required to stand some hours of the night Then the obligation was
ﻲ ﻬﻨﹺـ ﺎ ﭐﹾﻟـﻬﻴﺸﻋ ﺩ ﺮ ـﺪ ﺑ ﻌ ﺯ ﺍﻟﺴ ﺮ ﻭ ﹶﻃ ﺔﺭ ﹺﺯﻳ ﻭ ﺔ ﻤ ﻠﺎ ﹸﻛﻞﱡ ﻣﺎﹺﻧﹺﺒﻬﻦ ﺟ ﻋ ﺏ ﺎﻧﺠﭐﺎﻩ ﻭﺸﻴ ﺍﻟﺎ ﻭﻳﻬﺪ ﹶﻟ abrogated by Allah’s words faqra’u mā tayassara minhu wa’aqīmu al-şalāt (٧٣:٢٠;
Read from it what is easy, and establish the prayer) And he was required to make

suckled by a young woman, Ĥalīmah al-Sa‘diyah The people had rejected her as a him and grant him peace) said: “I ask Allah to take care of (i.e., cause to flourish in

fat And then all difficulties and misfortunes were removed from her shoulders ﺍﷲ א ﺍﷲ

ـ ﹶﻭﻋ ﺭ ﻮﹶﻗﺎ ﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺟﱠﻠﹶﻠ ﺪ ﻭﹶﻗ ﱃ ٰ ﻡ ﰲ ﭐ ُﻷﻭ ﺩ ﻯ ﺁ ٰ ﺃﺕ ﹶﻓﺮ ﺍﻤﻮ ﺴ ﱃ ﺍﻟ ٰ ﻪ ﹺﺇ ﺝ ﹺﺑ ﹺﺮﻭﻋ ﻴﺔﺳ ﺪ ﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹸﻘ ﺣﺎﹺﺑ ﻭ ﹺﺭ
ﺒﺎﻩـﺣﺎ ﹺﻝ ﺻ ﻢ ﰲ ﺤ ﹾﻜ ﻲ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺗﺬﻱ ﹸﺃﻭ ﻲ ﭐﱠﻟ ﺤ ﻳ ﻪ ﺘﺎﹶﻟﻦ ﺧ ﺑﻭﭐ ﻴﺔﻘ ﻨﺓ ﺍﻟ ﺮ ﺒﺘﻮ ﹺﻝ ﭐﹾﻟﺒﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺑﻋﻴﺴ ٰﻰ ﭐ ﺔ ﻴﻭﰲ ﺍﻟﱠﺜﺎﹺﻧ
ﻋﻠـ ٰﻰ ﻡ ﻴﺔ ﹶﻓ ﹶﻘﺎﺑﺎﹺﻧﺭ ﺔ ﻳﻨﺎﻌ ﻬ ﹺﺮ ﹺﺑ ﺸ ﻲ ﰲ ﺍﻟ ﺼﹺﺒ ﺏ ﺍﻟ ﺒﺎﺷ ﻮ ﹺﻡ ﻴﺐ ﰲ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺸ ﻳ ﻭ ﹶﻛﺎ ﹶﻥ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ
ﷲ
ُ ﻊ ﭐ ﺭﻓﹶـ ﺬﻱ ﺲ ﭐﻟﱠـ ﺩ ﹺﺭﻳ ﺔ ﹺﺇ ﻌ ﺮﺍﹺﺑ ﻭﰲ ﺍﻟ ﻴﺔﻟﻤﺎ ﺠ
ﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺗﺭ ﺼﻮ ﻖ ﹺﺑ ﺪﻳ ﺼ ﻒ ﺍﻟ ﺳ ﻳﻮ ﺔ ﻟﹶﺜﻯ ﰲ ﺍﻟﱠﺜﺎ ٰ ﺭﺃ ﻭ
ﻖ ـﻭﺷ ﻮﺍﻩ ﻨ ﹾﻄ ﹺﻖ ﻗﹸـﺼﻴ ﹺﺢ ﺍﻟ ﻬﻮ ﹺﺭ ﹺﺑ ﹶﻔ ﺸ ﻦ ﺍﻟ ﻣ ﺴ ﹴﻊ ﺗ ﺖ ﰲ ﻳﻭﹶﻗ ﹺﻮ ﺲ ﻤ ﹴ ﺧ ﻣﺸ ٰﻰ ﰲ ﻭ ﺙ ﻼ ﻪ ﰲ ﹶﺛ ﹶ ﻴﻣ ﺪ ﹶﻗ
ﻣﻮﺳـ ٰﻰ ﺔ ﺳ ﺩ ﺴﺎ ﻭﰲ ﺍﻟ ﻴﺔﻠﺋﻴﺮﺍ ﺳ ﺔ ﭐ ِﻹ ﻣ ﺐ ﰲ ﭐ ُﻷ ﺒﺤ ﻤ ﺭﻭ ﹶﻥ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻫﺎ ﺔ ﺴ ﻣ ﺨﺎ ﻭﰲ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻼﻩ ﻋ ﹶ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻪ ﻧﻣ ﹶﻜﺎ
ﺑـﺎﻟﺜﱠ ﹾﻠ ﹺﺞﻥ ﻭ ﻴﻄﹶﺎـﺣﻆﱠ ﺍﻟﺸ ﻪ ﻨﻣ ﺯﺍ ﹶﻻ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻳﺔﻣ ﹺﻮ ﺩ ﻋﹶﻠ ﹶﻘ ﹰﺔ ﻪ ﻨﻣ ﺟﺎ ﺮ ﺧ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻪ ﻳﺪ ﻒ ﹶﻟ
ﺸ ﹺﺮﻳ ﻩ ﺍﻟ ﺭ ﺪ ﺻ
ﻥ ﻤﹶﻠ ﹶﻜﺎ ﭐﹾﻟ
ـ ﹺﻦﺣﺴ ﻭ ﺐ ﺔ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻘﻠﹾـ ﹺ ﻣ ﻼ ﺴﹶ ﻪ ﹺﺑ ﺑﺭ ﺟﺎ َﺀ ﺬﻱ ﻢ ﭐﱠﻟ ﻫﻴ ﺮﺍ ﺑﺔ ﹺﺇ ﻌ ﺴﺎﹺﺑ ﻭﰲ ﺍﻟ ﺟﺎﻩ ﻧﺎﻭ ﱃ ٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ ﷲ ُ ﻪ ﭐ ﻤ ﺬﻱ ﹶﻛﱠﻠ ﭐﱠﻟ
ﻒ ﺢ ﹺﺑﹶﺄﹾﻟ ﺟ ﺮ ﻩ ﹶﻓ ﻧﺎﺯ ﻭ ﻭ ﻤﺎﻩ ﺘﺧ ﺓ ﻮ ﺒﻨﺗ ﹺﻢ ﺍﻟﺨﺎ ﻭﹺﺑ ﻩ ﺧﺎ ﹶﻃﺎ ﻢ ﻴﺔ ﹸﺛﳝﺎﹺﻧ ﺎﻧﹺﻲ ﹺﺇﻣﻌ ﻭ ﻤ ﹰﺔ ﺣ ﹾﻜ ﻩ ﻶﻭﻣ ﻼﻩ ﺴﹶ ﹶﻏ
ﻊ ﻤ ـﱃ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻥ ﺳ ٰ ﺘﻬـ ٰﻰ ﹺﺇﻨﻤ ﺓ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺭ ﺪ ﺳ ﱃ ٰ ﻊ ﹺﺇ ﺭﹶﻓ ﻢ ﻋﺎﹶﻓﺎﻩ ﹸﺛ ﻭ ﺩ ﺮﻭ ﻤ ﻨﻧﺎ ﹺﺭ ﺍﻟ ﻦ ﻣ ﷲ ُ ﻪ ﭐ ﻔ ﹶﻈ ﺣ ﻭ ﻳﺔﺍﻟ ﱠﻄ ﹺﻮ
ﻢ ﺒﺎﻩ ﺛﹸـﺻ ﺣﺎ ﹺﻝ ﻦ ﻣ ﻑ ﺻﺎ ﻭ ﻤ ﹺﻞ ﭐ َﻷ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻛ ﺸﹶﺄ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻧﻭ ﻳﺔﻴ ﹺﺮﺨ ﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺘﻣ ﻦ ﹸﺃ ﻣ
ﻪ ﻁ ﹶﻟ
ﻣﺎ ﹶ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻧﺎﻩﺩ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻪ ﻓﻴ ﷲ ُ ﻪ ﭐ ﺑﺮ ﺬﻱ ﹶﻗ ﺔ ﭐﱠﻟ ﺤ ﻤ ﹶﻜﺎﹶﻓ ﻣ ﹶﻘﺎ ﹺﻡ ﭐﹾﻟ ﱃٰ ﻴﺔ ﹺﺇﻀ ﻤ ﹾﻘ ﻣﻮ ﹺﺭ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻼ ﹺﻡ ﹺﺑﺎ ُﻷ ﻒ ﭐ َﻷ ﹾﻗ ﹶ ﺻ ﹺﺮﻳ
ﺙ
ﺩ ـﺎﺏ ﺣ ﺼﺎ ﹺ ﻤ ﺏ ﹺﺑ ﺼﺎ
ﻳ ﻦ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻥ ﻣ ﺣ ﹶﺬﺭﹰﺍ ﻴﺔﺨ
ﺳ ﺮ ﻴﻪ ﹶﻏ ﻲ ﹺﺑ ﻫ ﻭ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻣ ﱃ ﹸﺃ ٰ ﻪ ﹺﺇ ﺗﺩ ﺭ
ﻦ ـﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳـﻠﻢ ﻣ ﺳ ﺭﹾﺃ ﻨﻲﻴﻌ ﻩ ﹺﺑ ﻭﹶﺃﺭﺍ ﻴﺔﻟﻼﺠﹶ ﻮﺍ ﹺﺭ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻧﺐ ﭐ َﻷ ﺠ ﺣ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ
ﻓ ﹺﺮﻮﺍ ﻪ ﭐﻟﹾـ ـﺒﺎﺋﺣ ﻦ ﻣ ﻫﺎ ﺒﺎﺤ ﻴﺔ ﹶﻓﺿ ﺮ ﻤ ﺓ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺪ ﻴﺴ
ﳚ ﹶﺔ ﺍﻟ ﺪ ﺧ ﻳﺎ ﹺﻡﻤﺔﹸ ﰲ ﹶﺃ ﻴﺣﻠ ﻪ ﻴﻋﹶﻠ ﺕ ﺪ ﻭﹶﻓ ﻭ ﺸﺎﻩ ﺨ ﺗ
ﻴﺔﺗﻟﻲ ﺍﻟ ﱠﺬﺍﺠﺎ
ﻤ ﻼ ﹺﻝ ﰲ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺟ ﹶ ﻁ ﭐ ِﻹ ﺴﺎ ﹶ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹺﺑﻂ ﹶﻟﻪ ﺴﹶ ﺑﻭ ﺭﺍﻩ ﻣﺎ ﹶﺃ ﺔ ﻴﺑﻮﹺﺑﺮ ﺓ ﺍﻟ ﺮ ﻀ ﺣ

ـﻰﺣﺘ ﻴﺔﻔ ﺨ ﻣ ﻪ ﺤﺎﹺﺑ ﺻ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺗﺩ ﺒﺎﻋ ﺖ ﺯﺍﹶﻟ ﻣﺎ ﻭ ﺳ ﹶﻘﺎﻩ ﻭ ﺪﻳ ﹺﻖ ﺼ ﺘﻖ ﺍﻟ ﺣﻴ ﺮ ﺑ ﻬﺎ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻂ ﹶﻟ ﺴﹶ ﺑﻭ ﻴﺔﳛ ﻪ ﭐ َﻷ ﹺﺭ ﺗﺧ ﹶﺬ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻬﺎ ﻴﻡ ﹺﺇﹶﻟ ﻴ ﹴﻦ ﹶﻓ ﹶﻘﺎﻨﺣ ﻡ ﻮ ﻳ ﻪ ﻴﻋﹶﻠ ﺖ
ﻣ ﺪ ﻭﹶﻗ ﻴﺎﻩﺤ
ﹺﺑ
ـ ٰﻰﺣﺘ ﻪ ﻣ ﻮ ﻪ ﹶﻗ ﻨﻣ ﺪ ﻌ ﺒﻳ ﻢ ﻭﹶﻟ ﱃ ﭐﷲ ٰ ﺨ ﹾﻠ ﹺﻖ ﹺﺇ
ﻋﺎ ِﺀ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺪ ﺮ ﹺﺑ ﻬ ﺠ
ﻣﺮ ﴾ ﹶﻓ ﺆ ﺗ ﻤﺎ ﻉ ﹺﺑ ﺪ ﺻ ﻪ ﴿ ﹶﻓﭑ ﻴﻋﹶﻠ ﷲ ُ ﺰ ﹶﻝ ﭐ ﻧﹶﺃ ـﺔﺭﻳ ﻭﺍﻟﺬﱡ ﲔ
ﺒﹺﻨﻭﭐﹾﻟ ﻭ ﹺﺟﻬﺎ ﺯ ﻊ ﻣ ﺖ
ﻤ ﺳﹶﻠ ﻬﺎ ﹶﺃ ﻧﺢ ﹶﺃ ﺤﻴﺼ ﻭﺍﻟ ﺪﺍﻩ ﻧﻭ ﻩ ﺮ ﻁ ﹺﺑ
ﺴﺎ ﹶ ﻒ ﹺﺑ
ﺸ ﹺﺮﻳ ﻪ ﺍﻟ ﺋﺩﺍ ﻦ ﹺﺭ ﻣ
ﺪ ﺘﺷ ﻭﭐ ﻭﹶﺃ ﹶﺫﺍﻩ ﺓ ﻭ ﺪﺍ ﻌ ﻪ ﹺﺑﺎﹾﻟ ﺗﺯ ﺭ ﺒﺎﻣ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﺅﺍ ﺮ ﺠ ﺘﻴﺔ ﹶﻓﺪﺍﹺﻧ ﺣ ﻮ ﻮﻯ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺳ ﻣﺎ ﺾ ﺮ ﹾﻓ ﹺ ﺮ ﹺﺑ ﻣ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻢ ﻬ ﺘﻬ ﻟﺏ ﺁ ﻋﺎ ﻭﺍﻩ ﺮ ﺕ ﺍﻟ ﺛ ﹶﻘﺎ ﻦ ﻣ ﻊ ﻤ ﺟ ﺔ ﺑﺤﺎ ﺼ ﻤﺎ ﰲ ﺍﻟ ﻫ ﺪ ﻋ ﺪ ﻭﹶﻗ
ـﻮﻪ ﹶﺃﺑ ـﻋﻤ ﻪ ﻴﻋﹶﻠ ﺏ ﺪ ﺣ ﻭ ﻴﺔﺷ ﺠﺎ ﻨﺔ ﺍﻟ ﻴﺣ ﻨﺎﱃ ﺍﻟٰ ﺲ ﹺﺇ ﻤ ﹴ ﺧ ﺔ ﻨﺳ ﺮﻭﺍ ﰲ ﺟ ﻬﺎ ﻼ ُﺀ ﹶﻓ ﺒ ﹶﲔ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻤ ﻠﺴ
ﻤ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﭐﹾﻟ
ﻦ ـﺾ ﻣ ـ ﹴﺑﻌ ﻡ ـﺎﻗﻴ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳـﻠﻢ ﻴﻋﹶﻠ ﺽ ﻭﹸﻓ ﹺﺮ ﻣﺎﻩ ﺤﺎ
ﺗﻭ ﻮ ﹺﻡ ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ ﻣ ﻪ ﹸﻛ ﱞﻞ ﺑﻬﺎ ﺐ ﹶﻓ ﻟ ﹴﹶﻃﺎ
B y divine care, he (Allah bless him and grant him peace) grew in one day what a
child would grow in one month So he stood upon his feet in three months,
walked in five months, and was able to talk articulately in nine months While in her
care, two angels (visited him and) opened his chest and took out from his noble heart a
ﺽ
ﻭﻓﹸـ ﹺﺮ ﴾ ﻼ ﹶﺓ ﺼﹶ ﻤﻮﺍ ﺍﻟ ﻗﻴﻭﹶﺃ ﻪ ﻨﻣ ﺮ ﺴ ﻴﺗ ﻣﺎ ﺅﺍ ﺮ ﱃ ﴿ ﹶﻓﭑ ﹾﻗ ٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ ﻪ ﻟﻮ ﺦ ﹺﺑ ﹶﻘ ﺴ ِ ﻧ ﻢ ﻴﺔ ﹸﺛﻠﻴﺕ ﺍﻟﱠﻠ ﻋﺎ ﺴﺎ ﺍﻟ clot of blood After removing the portion of the shayţān, they washed it with ice and
ﺕ
ﻮﺍ ـﹶﻠﺏ ﺍﻟﺼ ـﺎ ﹺﺦ ﹺﺑﹺﺈﳚ ﻧﺴِـ ﻢ ﻴﺔ ﹸﺛﺸ ﻌ ﻥ ﹺﺑﺎﹾﻟ ﺘﺎﻌ ﺭ ﹾﻛ ﻭ ﺓ ﺪﺍ ﻐ ﻥ ﹺﺑﺎﹾﻟ ﺘﺎﻌ ﺭ ﹾﻛ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻴﻋﹶﻠ filled it with wisdom and meanings based upon faith Then they closed it, sealing it
with the seal of prophethood Lastly, they weighed him and found him to be heavier
ﻪ ـﻮﺗ ﻤ ﺖ ﹺﺑ ﻤ ﻋ ﹸﻈ ﻭ ﺔ ﻌﹶﺜ ﺷ ﹺﺮ ﭐﹾﻟﹺﺒ ﻋﺎ ﻦ ﻣ ﻮﺍ ﹴﻝ ﺷ ﻒ ﺼ ﻧ ﺐ ﰲ ﻟ ﹴﺑﻮ ﹶﻃﺎﺕ ﹶﺃ ﻣﺎ ﻭ ﺮﺍﻩ ﺴ
ﻣ ﺔ ﻴﹶﻠﺲ ﰲ ﹶﻟ ﻤ ﹺ ﺨ ﭐﹾﻟ than one thousand of his good nation He grew up with the most perfect qualities of
a young child Then she returned him to his mother though she wanted to keep
ﻪ ﺶ ﹺﺑ ﻳﺮ ﺖ ﹸﻗ
ﻌ ﻭﹶﻗ ﻭﹶﺃ ﺮﺍﻩ ﻋ ﻖ ﺛﻴﻭ ﲔ ﻤ ﻠﺴ ﻤ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻼ ُﺀ ﺒ ﹶﺪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺷ ﻭ ﺙ ﻼ ﺪ ﹶﺛ ﹶ ﻌ ﺑ ﳚ ﹸﺔ ﺪ ﺧ ﻪ ﺘﺗﹶﻠﻭ ﻳﺔﺮ ﹺﺯ ﺍﻟ him She feared harm might befall him Ĥalīmah visited him during the time he
was living with Khadījah, al-sayyidah al-marđiyyah And he gave generously to her
ﺮﻭﺍ ﻭﹶﺃ ﹾﻏ ﺮﺍﻩ ﻗ ﺔ ﺑﺟﺎ ﻨﻮﺍ ﹺﺑﺎ ِﻹﺴ ِﺤ ﻳ ﻢ ﻘﻴﻔﹰﺎ ﹶﻓﹶﻠ ﻋﻮﺍ ﹶﺛ ﺪ ﻳ ﻒ ﺋﻡ ﺍﻟ ﱠﻄﺎ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻳﺔﺫ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹸﻛ ﱠﻞ ﹶﺃ with shyness and modesty On the day of Ĥunayn, she came to him and he stood up
selflessly to meet her He unfolded for her his noble shawl of generosity and
ﺖ
ﺒـﺧﻀ ﺘ ٰﻰﺣ ﺓ ﺭ ﺠﺎ ﺤ ﻩ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹺﺑﺎﹾﻟ ﻣﻮ ﺭ ﻭ ﻳﺔﺬ ﺑ ﺴ ﹴﻦ ﻩ ﹺﺑﹶﺄﹾﻟ ﺒﻮﺴ ﺪ ﹶﻓ ﻌﹺﺒﻴ ﻭﭐﹾﻟ ﻬﺎ َﺀ ﺴ ﹶﻔ ﻪ ﺍﻟ ﹺﺑ honor The correct (belief) is that she, her husband and her children became
Muslims A group of trustworthy narrators consider her and her husband to be
ﻬﺎ ﻠﻫ ﻙ ﹶﺃ ﻼ
ﻫ ﹶ ﺒﺎ ﹺﻝ ﰲ ﹺﺇﺠ ﻚ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹺ ﻣﹶﻠ ﻪ ﺴﹶﺄﹶﻟ ﺣ ﹺﺰﻳﻨﹰﺎ ﹶﻓ ﻣ ﱠﻜ ﹶﺔ ﱃ ٰ ﺩ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹺﺇ ﻋﺎ ﻢ ﻼﻩ ﹸﺛ ﻌ ﹶ ﻧ ﻣﺎ ِﺀ ﺪ ﹺﺑﺎﻟ among the companions
ﻮ ﱠﻻﻩ ﺘﻳ ﻦ ﻣ ﻢ ﻼﹺﺑ ﹺﻬ ﺻﹶ ﻦ ﹶﺃ ﻣ ﱃ ٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ ﷲ
ُ ﺝﭐ ﺨ ﹺﺮ ﻳ ﺟﻮﺍ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻥ ﺭ ﻧﻲ ﹶﺃﻴﺔ ﹶﻓ ﹶﻘﺎ ﹶﻝ ﹺﺇﺼﹺﺒ ﻌ ﹶﺫ ﹺﻭﻱ ﭐﹾﻟ אא
T he first to believe in him (Allah bless him and grant him peace) among men was
Abu Bakr, the companion in the cave (Thawr, on the way to Madinah), the Şaddīq
(meaning: who believes immediately without doubt) Among children, ‘Alī; and
ﺍﷲ א
O Allah, scent his noble grave with an aromatic fragrance of blessings and peace
ﺍﷲ
among women, Khadījah, through whom Allah strengthened and preserved his heart O Allah, bless him, grant him peace and barakah
and protected him (Allah bless him and grant him peace) Among freed slaves, Zayd
ibn Ĥārithah; and among slaves, Bilāl (the Ethiopian, the caller to prayer chosen by the
Prophet) tortured by his master, Umayah, for his belief in Allah Later bought and ﺘﻬﺎﻮﺍﹶﻓ ﺕ ﹶﻓ ﺩ ﻋﺎ ﻢ ﻳﺔ ﹸﺛﺒ ﹺﻮﻨﺔ ﺍﻟ ﻨﺪﻳ ﻤ ﱃ ﭐﹾﻟ ٰ ﻪ ﹺﺇ ﻣ ﻪ ﹸﺃ ﺖ ﹺﺑ
ﺟ ﺮ ﺧ ﲔ ﺳﹺﻨ ﻊ ﺑﺭ ﺑﹶﻠ ﹶﻎ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹶﺃ ﻤﺎ ﻭﹶﻟ
freed from slavery by his new master, Abu Bakr, who provided for him Then
submitted ‘Uthmān, Sa‘ad, Sa‘īd, Ţalĥah (cousin of Abu Bakr), Ibn al-‘Awf (‘Abdu
ﻴ ﹸﺔـﺒﺸﺤ ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻤ ﻳﻡ ﹶﺃ ﻪ ﹸﺃ ﺘﻨﺿ
ﺣﺎ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺘﻤﹶﻠ ﺣ ﻭ ﻮﹶﻓﺎﻩ ﻥ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺠﻮﺤ ﺐ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻌ ﹺ ﺸ ﻭ ﹺﺑ ﻮﺍ ِﺀ ﹶﺃ ﺑﹺﺑﺎ َﻷ
‘Amr: changed by the Prophet to ‘Abd al-Raĥmān), and Zubayr, the son of the ﺪ ـﻋﺒ ﻩ ﺪ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﺟﹺـ ﻪ ﺘﺧﹶﻠ ﺩ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻮ ﹶﻻﻩ ﻣ ﺣﺎ ﹺﺭﹶﺛ ﹶﺔ ﺪ ﹺﺑ ﹺﻦ ﻳﺯ ﻦ ﻣ ﺪ ﻌ ﺑ ﺟﻬﺎ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻭ ﺯ ﺘﻲﭐﱠﻟ
Prophet’s aunt, Şaffiyah And others whom the Şaddīq gave to drink the nectar of
belief Still he (Allah bless him and grant him peace) and his companions ﻩ ﺮ ﻭﱠﻗ ﻦ ﻤ ﻟ ﺑ ﹴﺦ ﺒ ﹴﺦﻈﻴﻤﹰﺎ ﹶﻓ ﻋ ﺸ ﹾﺄﻧﹰﺎ
ﻟ ﻫ ﹶﺬﺍ ﺑﹺﻨﻲﻭﹶﻗﺎ ﹶﻝ ﹺﺇ ﱠﻥ ِ ِﻹ ﻴﻪﻗﺭ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻪ ﻕ ﹶﻟ
ﺭ ﻭ ﻪ ﻴﻪ ﹺﺇﹶﻟ ﻤ ﻀ
ﺐ ﹶﻓ ﻠ ﹺﻤ ﱠﻄ ﭐﹾﻟ
worshipped in secret Until Allah revealed faşda‘ bimā tu’mir (١٥:٩٤; Therefore,
declare openly what you are bidden); thereupon, he openly called the people to ﻤﺎ ِﺀ ﻯ ﹺﺑٰ ﺘﺬﺪﺍ ﹶﻓﺎ ﹾﻏ ﻣﺎ ﹶﻏ ﺜﲑﹰﺍﻭ ﹶﻛ ﻴﺔﻪ ﭐ َﻷﹺﺑ ﺴ
ﻧ ﹾﻔ ﻋ ﹶﻄﺸﹰﺎ ﹶﻗﻂﱡ ﻭ ﹶﻻ ﻮﻋﹰﺎ ﺟ ﻩ ﺒﺎﺻ ﻚﰲ ﺸ ﺗ ﻢ ﻭﹶﻟ ﻭﺍ ﹶﻻﻩ ﻭ
Allah His people didn’t denounce him until he denounced their gods and ordered
the rejection of all but the oneness Now they dared show him open enmity and the ﻭﺍﻩ ﺭ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻪ ﻌ ﺒﺷ ﻡ ﹶﻓﹶﺄ ﺰ ﻣ ﺯ
threat of harm Hardships increased for the Muslims, so in the fifth year they made
hijrah (the Prophet ordered some of his followers to flee the persecution in Makkah) to
the domain of the king of Habasha (al-Najāshī) Because his uncle, Abu Ţālib, was W hen he (Allah bless him and grant him peace) reached four years of age his
mother took him to Madinah al-Munawwarah While returning she died either
at al-Abwā’ or at Shi‘b al-Ĥajūn (somewhere between Makkah and Madinah, but
solicitous of him (Allah bless him and grant him peace), all the people were afraid to

closer to Madinah) He (Allah bless him and grant him peace) was then carried by dawning of the morning’s brilliant light He was started out with these dreams as a

He (Jibrīl) said: “Read.” He (Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: “I cannot
ﺍﷲ א ﺍﷲ read.” Then Jibrīl covered him in an embrace a second time until he (Allah bless him
and grant him peace) became exhausted and overwhelmed from the exertion Then
O Allah, scent his noble grave with an aromatic fragrance of blessings and peace Jibrīl said: “Read.” And he said: “I cannot read.” A third time the Angel embraced him
O Allah, bless him, grant him peace and barakah and pressed him hard so that he would turn himself with full attention to what would
be given to him Receiving it with seriousness and effort Then the revelation
stopped for three years or thirty months, making him look forward eagerly to those
ﺪ ـﻋﺒ ﻪ ﻖ ﹶﺃﹺﺑﻴـ ﻘﻴ ﺷ ﺐ ﻟ ﹴﺑﻮ ﹶﻃﺎﻪ ﹶﺃ ﻤ ﻋ ﻪ ﹶﻛ ﹶﻔﹶﻠ ﻴﺔﻤﹺﻨ ﻳﺎ ﭐﹾﻟﻣ ﹶﻄﺎ ﺐﻠ ﹺﻤ ﱠﻄ ﺪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺒﻋ ﻩ ﺪ ﺟ ﻨﺎ ِﺀﺖ ﹺﺑ ﹶﻔ ﺨ ﻤﺎ ﹸﺃﹺﻧﻴ ﻭﹶﻟ beautifully fragranced scents (i.e., the Revelation) Then yā ayyuh al-muddathir (O
you who have wrapped up in your garments!) was sent to him by Jibrīl So his
ﺑﺎﻩﺭ ﻭ ﲔ ﺒﹺﻨﻭﭐﹾﻟ ﺲ
ﻨ ﹾﻔ ﹺﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﺍﻟ ﻪ ﻣ ﺪ ﻭﹶﻗ ﻴﺔﻤ ﺣ ﻭ ﺔ ﻤ ﻫ ﻭ ﻱ
ﺰ ﹴﻡ ﹶﻗ ﹺﻮ ﻌ ﻪ ﹺﺑ ﺘﻡ ﹺﺑ ﹶﻜﻔﹶﺎﹶﻟ ﭐﷲ ﹶﻓﻘﹶﺎ prophethood began with iqra bisma rabbika (Read! In the name of your Lord)—
evidence that it has priority in importance Foremost in his message, giving the good
T hen, when the camels of death were made to kneel down at the courtyard of his
grandfather, ‘Abd al-Muţţalib, his uncle, Abu Ţālib, the brother of ‘Abd Allah
from both parents, adopted him He carried his adoption with strong determination
news and the warning to whomever he called to Islam
and zeal In bringing him up, he preferred him (Allah bless him and grant him
peace) even to himself and his own children

ٰ ﺐ ﹺﺇ ﻟ ﹴﺑﻮ ﹶﻃﺎﻪ ﹶﺃ ﻤ ﻋ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺣ ﹶﻞ ﹺﺑ ﺭ ﻨ ﹰﺔﺳ ﺮ ﹶﺓ ﺸ ﻋ ﺘ ٰﻰﻨﺑﹶﻠ ﹶﻎ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺍﹾﺛ ﻤﺎ ﻭﹶﻟ O Allah, bless him, grant him peace and barakah
ﻮﺍﻩ ﺣ ﻭ ﺓ ﻮ ﺒﻨﻒ ﺍﻟ
ﺻ ﻭ ﻦ ﻣ ﻩ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺯ ﺣﺎ ﻤﺎ ﻯ ﹺﺑ ٰ ﺤﲑ ﺑ ﺐ ﻫ ﺮﺍ ﻪ ﺍﻟ ﺮﹶﻓ ﻋ ﻭ ﻴﺔﻣ ﺸﺎ
ﺩ ﺍﻟ ﻼ
ﭐﹾﻟﹺﺒ ﹶ
ﻦ ـﻭﻣ ﻴﺔﻘ ﺪﻳ ﺼ
ﻭﺍﻟ ﻐﺎ ﹺﺭ ﺐ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺣ ﺻﺎ ﺑ ﹾﻜ ﹴﺮ ﺑﻮﺎ ﹺﻝ ﹶﺃﺮﺟ ﻦ ﺍﻟ ﻣ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻦ ﹺﺑ ﻣ ﻦ ﺁ ﻣ ﻭ ﹸﻝ ﻭﹶﺃ
ﻭ ﹶﻻ ﺮ ـﺤﺠ ﻭﭐﹾﻟ ﺮ ﺠ
ـﻪ ﺍﻟﺸ ﺪ ﻟﹶـ ﺠ ﺳ ﺪ ﻭﹶﻗ ﻴﻪﻧﹺﺒﻭ ﷲ
ِ ﺳﻮ ﹶﻝ ﭐ ﺭ ﻭ ﲔ ﻤ ﻌﺎﹶﻟ ﺪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻴﺳ ﻩ ﺭﺍ ﻧﻲ ﹶﺃﻭﹶﻗﺎ ﹶﻝ ﹺﺇ
ﺣﺎ ﹺﺭﺛﹶـ ﹶﺔ ﺑ ﹺﻦ ﺪ ﺯﻳْ ﻟﻲﻮﺍ ﻤ ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻣ ﻭ ﻭﹶﻗﺎﻩ ﻭ ﻪ ﺒﻬﺎ ﹶﻗ ﹾﻠ ﷲ ﹺﺑ
ُ ﺖﭐ ﺒﺘﻲ ﹶﺛُﺔ ﭐﱠﻟ ﳚ ﺪ ﺧ ﺴﺎ ِﺀ ﻨﻦ ﺍﻟ ﻣ ﻭ ﻠﻲﻋ ﻥ ﻴﺎﺒﺼ ﺍﻟ
ﻢ ﺗـﺎﻪ ﺧ ـﺘ ﹶﻔﻴﻦ ﹶﻛ ﻴﺑﻭ ﺔﺎ ﹺﻭﻳﺴﻤ ﺔ ﺍﻟ ﳝ ﺪ ﺐ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ
ﺘ ﹺﻪ ﰲ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹸﻜ ﺘﻌ ﻧ ﺪ ﺠ
ﻨ ﹺﻟ ﻧﺎﻭﹺﺇ ﻭﺍﻩ ﻲ ﹶﺃ ﻨﹺﺒﻟ ﻥ ﹺﺇ ﱠﻻ ﺪﺍ ﺠ
ﺴ ﻳ
ﻢ ﻭ ﹶﻻﻩ ﺛﹸـ ﻣﺎ ﹶﺃ ﺘ ﹺﻖﻌ ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻣ ﺑ ﹾﻜ ﹴﺮ ﺑﻮﻩ ﹶﺃ ﻮ ﹶﻻ ﻣ ﻩ ﻭ ﹶﻻ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻴﺔﻣ ﷲ ﹸﺃ
ِ ﻪ ﰲ ﭐ ﺑﻋ ﱠﺬ ﺬﻱ ﻼ ﹲﻝ ﭐﱠﻟ ﻦ ﭐ َﻷ ﹺﺭﱠﻗﺎ ِﺀ ﹺﺑ ﹶ ﻣ ﻭ
ﻖ ﺪﻳ ﺼ
ﻪ ﺍﻟ ﻬﹶﻠ ﻧﻦ ﹶﺃ ﻤ ﻣ ﻢ ﻫ ﺮ ﻴﻭ ﹶﻏ ﻴﺔﻔ ﺻ
ﺔ ﻤ ﻌ ﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺑﻭﭐ ﻑ ﻮ ﻋ ﻦ ﺑﻭﭐ ﺤ ﹸﺔ
ﻭ ﹶﻃ ﹾﻠ ﺪ ﻌﻴ ﺳ ﻭ ﺪ ﻌ ﺳ ﻭ ﻤﺎ ﹸﻥ ﻋﹾﺜ ﻢ ﺳﹶﻠ ﹶﺃ

first to enter, so they said: “This is the Honest One (al-Amīn). We all accept him and
are pleased with him” Then they told him that they wanted him to make a ruling on
ـﺔﺩﻳ ﻬﻮ ﻴﺩﻳ ﹺﻦ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻫ ﹺﻞ ﻦ ﹶﺃ ﻣ ﻪ ﻴﻋﹶﻠ ﻮﻓﹰﺎ ﺨ
ﺗ ﻣ ﱠﻜ ﹶﺔ ﱃٰ ﻩ ﹺﺇ ﺩ ﺮ ﻪ ﹺﺑ ﻤ ﻋ ﺮ ﻣ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻼﻩ
ﻋ ﹶ ﻭ ﺭ ﻨﻮﻪ ﺍﻟ ﻤ ﻋ ﺪ ﺓ ﹶﻗ ﻮ ﺒﻨﺍﻟ
the matter and carry it out So he (Allah bless him and grant him peace) put the ﺮﺍﻩ ﺼ ﺑ ﺱﺪ ﹺ ﻤ ﹶﻘ ﺸﺎ ﹺﻡ ﭐﹾﻟ
ﻦ ﺍﻟ ﻣ ﺯ ﺠﺎ ﹺﻭ ﻳ ﻢ ﻭﹶﻟ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻊ ﹺﺑ ﺟ ﺮ ﹶﻓ
stone on a cloak and then ordered the tribes to lift it together to its designated place
They all lifted it to its place in the corner of that building (the Ka‘bah) Then, with
his noble hands, he (Allah bless him and grant him peace) put it in its present place
and fixed it there
W hen the Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) was twelve years old, his
uncle took him on one of his trips to Sham There, the monk Buĥayrā, in
possession of the description of prophethood, recognized him He said: “I see him as
the Master of the Worlds, the Messenger of Allah and His Prophet, for the trees and
אא stones prostrated to him and they never prostrate except to a prophet, who sighs in
ﺍﷲ א ﺍﷲ repentance and asks for forgiveness” “Surely, we find his description in the ancient
divine books” “And between his shoulder blades is the seal of prophethood,
completely illuminated by light” His uncle ordered that he be returned to Makkah,
O Allah, scent his noble grave with an aromatic fragrance of blessings and peace fearing that harm might befall him from the Jews So he returned with him from
O Allah, bless him, grant him peace and barakah Buşrā (a city in Sham now called Houran) in blessed Sham
ﷲ
ُ ﻪ ﭐ ﻌﺜﹶـ ﺑ ﻴﺔﻤ ﻌﺎﹶﻟ ﻟ ﹶﺬ ﹺﻭﻱ ﭐﹾﻟِ ﻮﺍ ﹺﻝ ﻭﹶﻓ ﹺﻖ ﭐ َﻷ ﹾﻗ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﹶﺃ ﻨ ﹰﺔﺳ ﻌﻮ ﹶﻥ ﺑﺭ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹶﺃ ﻤ ﹶﻞ ﹶﻟ ﻤﺎ ﹶﻛ ﻭﹶﻟ אא
ﺍﷲ א ﺍﷲ
ـﺔﻠﻴﺠ ﺔ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺩﹶﻗ ﺼﺎ
ﻳﺎ ﺍﻟﺅ ﺮ ﻬ ﹺﺮ ﹺﺑﺎﻟ ﺷ ﺔ ﹶﺃ ﺘﺳ ﻤﺎ ﹺﻡ ﺗ ﱃ ٰ ﺪﹶﺃ ﹺﺇ ﺑﻭ ﻤﺎﻩ ﺣ ﺮ ﻢ ﹺﺑ ﻬ ﻤ ﻌ ﺬﻳﺮﹰﺍ ﹶﻓ ﻧﻭ ﺸﲑﹰﺍ ﺑ ﲔ ﻤ ﻌﺎﹶﻟ ﻟ ﹾﻠ ﱃ
ٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ
ﺉ ﺻـﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴـﻪ ﺪ ﺑﺘﺎ ﭐﻧﻤﻭﹺﺇ ﺎﻩﺳﻨ ﺎ َﺀﺒ ﹴﺢ ﹶﺃﺿﻣﹾﺜ ﹶﻞ ﹶﻓﹶﻠ ﹺﻖ ﺻ ﺕ ﺟﺎ َﺀ ﻳﺎ ﹺﺇ ﱠﻻﺅ ﺭ ﻯ ٰ ﻳﺮ ﹶﻓ ﹶﻜﺎ ﹶﻥ ﹶﻻ O Allah, scent his noble grave with an aromatic fragrance of blessings and peace
O Allah, bless him, grant him peace and barakah
ﺐ
ﺒﺣ ﻭ ﻮﺍﻩ ﻩ ﹸﻗ ﻮﺍ ﺗ ﹾﻘ ﻼ
ﺓ ﹶﻓ ﹶ ﻮ ﺒﻨﺼ ﹺﺮﻳ ﹺﺢ ﺍﻟ ﻚ ﹺﺑ ﻤﹶﻠ ﻩ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺠﹶﺄ ﻳ ﹾﻔ ﻼ ﻟﹶﺌ ﱠ ﻳﺔﺸ ﹺﺮ ﺒﺓ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻮ ﻟ ﹾﻠ ﹸﻘ ﻤ ﹺﺮﻳﻨﹰﺎ ﺗ ﻳﺎﺅ ﺮ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹺﺑﺎﻟ
ﻚ ﻟﻭ ﹶﺫ ﻭﺍﹶﻓﺎﻩ ﻭ ﻖ ﺤ ﺢ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺻ ﹺﺮﻳ ﻪ ﻓﻴ ﻩ ﺗﺎﱃ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻥ ﹶﺃ ٰ ﺔ ﹺﺇﺩﻳ ﺪ ﻌ ﻲ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻟﺎﺍ ٍﺀ ﺍﻟﱠﻠﻴﺤﺮ ﹺﺑﺒﺪﻌ ﺘﻳ ﻼ ُﺀ ﹶﻓﻜﹶﺎ ﹶﻥ ﺨﹶ ﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻴﹺﺇﹶﻟ ﻴﺔﺘﳚ ﹶﺔ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻔ ﺪ ﺨ
ﻟ ﺓ ﺭ ﺠﺎ
ﺗ ﻯ ﰲ ٰ ﺼﺮ ﺑ ﱃ ٰ ﺮ ﹺﺇ ﺳﺎﹶﻓ ﻨ ﹰﺔﺳ ﻦ ﺸ ﹺﺮﻳ ﻋ ﻭ ﻤﺴﹰﺎ ﺧ ﺑﹶﻠ ﹶﻎ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻤﺎ ﻭﹶﻟ
ـ ﹴﻊﺭﺑ ﻭ ِ َﻷ ﺒ ﹴﻊ ﹶﺃـﻟﺴ ﻮﺍ ﹲﻝ ﻢ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻗ ﻭﹶﺛ ﻳﺔﺪ ﹺﺭ ﺔ ﭐﹾﻟ ﹶﻘ ﻴﹶﻠﻬ ﹺﺮ ﺍﻟﱠﻠ ﺷ ﻦ ﻣ ﺖ ﺧﹶﻠ ﻴﹶﻠ ﹰﺔﺮ ﹶﺓ ﹶﻟ ﺸ ﻋ ﻊ ﺒﺴ ﻟ ﲔ ﻨ ﹺﻮ ﹺﻡ ﭐ ِﻹﹾﺛ ﻳ ﰲ ﺰ ﹶﻝ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻧﻭ ﻨﺎﻩﻋ ﻤﺎ ﻡ ﹺﺑ ﻳ ﹸﻘﻮﻭ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻣ ﺪ ﺨ ﻳ ﺮ ﹸﺓ ﺴ ﻴﻣ ﻣﻬﺎ ﻼ
ﻪ ﹸﻏ ﹶ ﻌ ﻣ ﻭ
ﹶﻓ ﹶﻘﺎ ﹶﻝ ﻴﺎﻩﺤ ﻣ ﻪ ﻓﻴ ﺪﹶﺃ ﺑ ﺬﻱ ﻩ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﭐﱠﻟ ﺪ ﻟﻮ ﻣ ﻬ ﹺﺮ ﺷ ﻦ ﻣ ﺖ ﺧﹶﻠ ﻥ ﻤﺎ ﻟﹶﺜ ﻭ ﻪ ﹶﺃ ﻨﻣ ﻦ ﺸ ﹺﺮﻳ ﻋ ﻭ ﺐ ﹺﺇ ﹾﺫ ـﺮﺍﻫ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺍﻟ ﺮﹶﻓ ﻌ ﹶﻓ ﻴﺔﺮﺍﹺﻧ ﺼ
ﻨﺐ ﺍﻟ ﻫ ﹺ ﺭﺍ ﺭ ﺴ ﹸﻄﻮ ﻧ ﺔ ﻌ ﻣ ﻮ ﺻ
ﻯ ٰ ﺓ ﹶﻟﺪ ﺮ ﺠ
ﺷ ﺖ ﺤ ﺗ
ﱴ
ٰ ـﻴ ﹰﺔ ﺣ ﹶﺛﺎﹺﻧﻐﻄﱠﻪ ﺉ ﹶﻓ ﺎ ﹺﺑﻘﹶﺎ ﹺﺭ ﹴﺎ ﹶﺃﻧﺮﹾﺃ ﹶﻓﻘﹶﺎ ﹶﻝ ﻣ ﭐ ﹾﻗﻢ ﹶﻗﺎ ﹶﻝ ﹶﻟﻪ ﻳﺔ ﹸﺛﻪ ﹶﻏ ﱠﻄ ﹰﺔ ﹶﻗ ﹺﻮ ﻐ ﱠﻄ ﺉ ﹶﻓ ﻧﺎ ﹺﺑ ﹶﻘﺎ ﹺﺭ ﹴﻣﺎ ﹶﺃ ﺮﹾﺃ ﹶﻓ ﹶﻘﺎ ﹶﻝ ﻪ ﭐ ﹾﻗ ﹶﻟ ﺓ ﹶﻗﻂﱡ ﹺﺇ ﱠﻻ ﺮ ﺠ ﺸ ﻩ ﺍﻟ ﺬ ﻫ ﺖ ﺤ ﺗ ﺰ ﹶﻝ ﻧ ﻣﺎ : ﻭﹶﻗﺎ ﹶﻝ ﻭﺍﻩ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻑ ﻮﺍ ﹺﺭ ﻬﺎ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻇﻠﱡ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﻴﻣﺎ ﹶﻝ ﹺﺇﹶﻟ
ﻪ ﻴﻴ ﹾﻠﻘ ٰﻰ ﹺﺇﹶﻟﺳ ﻣﺎ ﱃ ٰ ﻪ ﹺﺇ ﺟ ﻮ ﺘﻴﻟ ﻟﹶﺜ ﹰﺔﻪ ﹶﺛﺎ ﻐ ﱠﻄ ﺉ ﹶﻓ
ﻧﺎ ﹺﺑ ﹶﻘﺎ ﹺﺭ ﹴﻣﺎ ﹶﺃ ﺮﹾﺃ ﹶﻓ ﹶﻘﺎ ﹶﻝ ﻪ ﭐ ﹾﻗ ﻢ ﹶﻗﺎ ﹶﻝ ﹶﻟ ﻭ ﹶﻏ ﱠﻄﺎﻩ ﹸﺛ ﺪ ﻬ ﺠ ﻪ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻨﻣ ﺑﹶﻠ ﹶﻎ ﻓﻲ ﹶﺃ: ﺮ ﹶﺓ ﺴ ﻴﻤ ﻟ ﻢ ﹶﻗﺎ ﹶﻝ ﹸﺛ ﺒﺎﻩﺣ ﻭ ﺋ ﹺﻞﻀﺎ ﱃ ﹺﺑﺎﹾﻟ ﹶﻔٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ ﷲ ُ ﻪ ﭐ ﺼ ﺧ ﺪ ﺳﻮ ﹲﻝ ﹶﻗ ﺭ ﻭ ﻴﺔﻘ ﻧ ﺕ
ﺻ ﹶﻔﺎ
ﹸﺫﻭﻧﹺﺒﻲ
ﻕ
ﺘﺎﺸ ﻴﻟ ﻬﺮﹰﺍ ﺷ ﲔ ﺛﻼ ﻭ ﹶﺛ ﹶ ﲔ ﹶﺃ ﺳﹺﻨ ﺙ ﻼ ﹶ ﻲ ﹶﺛ ﹶ ﺣ ﻮ ﺮ ﭐﹾﻟ ﺘﻢ ﹶﻓ ﺘﹶﻠ ﱠﻘﺎﻩ ﹸﺛﻳﻭ ﺩ ﻬﺎ ﺘﺟ ﻭﭐ ﺪ ﺠ ﻪ ﹺﺑ ﹺ ﻳ ﹶﻘﺎﹺﺑﹶﻠﻭ ﻴﺔﻌ ﻤ ﺠ ﹺﺑ ﻢ ﺧﺎﻩ ﺛﹸـ ﻮ ﺗﻭ ﻪ ﻓﻴ ﻪ ﻨﻣﺎ ﹶﻇ ﻪ ﻳﺪ ﻖ ﹶﻟ ﺤ ﻢ ﹶﻓ ﻌ ﻨﻪ ﹺﺑ ﺑﺟﺎ ﻴﺔ ﹶﻓﹶﺄﻔ ﺨ ﺔ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻣ ﻼﻌ ﹶ ﻟ ﹾﻠ ﻬﺎﺭﹰﺍ ﺘ ﹾﻈﺳ ﺮ ﹲﺓ ؟ ﭐ ﻤ ﺣ ﻪ ﻴﻨﻴﻋ
ـﺎﺒ ﹺﺮﻳـ ﹸﻞ ﹺﺑﻬﻩ ﹺﺟ ﺠﺎ َﺀ ﺮ ﴾ ﹶﻓ ﺪﱢﺛ ﻤ ﻬﺎ ﭐﹾﻟ ﻳﻳﹶﺄ ﴿ ﻪ ﻴﻋﹶﻠ ﺖ ﻧ ﹺﺰﹶﻟﻢ ﹸﺃ ﻳﺔ ﹸﺛﺬ ﺸ ﺕ ﺍﻟ ﺤﺎ ﻨ ﹶﻔﻚ ﺍﻟ ﺗﻴﻫﺎ ﻕ ﺸﺎ ﹺ ﺘﻧﱃ ﭐ ٰ ﹺﺇ ﱃ ٰ ـﺎﺗﻌ ﷲ ُ ﻪ ﭐ ﻣ ﺮ ﻦ ﹶﺃ ﹾﻛ ﻤ ﻣ ﻪ ﻧﹶﻓﹺﺈ ﻳﺔﺴ ﹺﻦ ﹶﻃ ﹺﻮ ﺣ ﻭ ﺰ ﹴﻡ ﻋ ﻭ ﻕ ﺪ ﹴ ﺼ
ﻪ ﹺﺑ ﻌ ﻣ ﻦ ﻭ ﹸﻛ ﻪ ﺗ ﹶﻔﺎ ﹺﺭ ﹾﻗ ﹶﻻ: ﺮ ﹶﺓ ﺴ ﻴﻤ ﻟ ﹶﻗﺎ ﹶﻝ
ـﺎﻋﻠـ ٰﻰ ﹶﺃ ﱠﻥ ﹶﻟﻬ ﺪ ﻫ ﺷﺎ ﴾ ﻚ ﺑﺭ ﺳ ﹺﻢ ﺮﹾﺃ ﹺﺑﺎ ﺪ ﹺﻡ ﴿ ﭐ ﹾﻗ ﺘ ﹶﻘﻟ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺗﻮ ﺒﻨﻟ ﹶﻓ ﹶﻜﺎ ﹶﻥ ﺩﺍﻩ ﻧﺎﻭ ﻼ ﻣ ﹾﻘﹺﺒ ﹰ ﳚ ﹸﺔ ﺪ ﺧ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺗﺮﹶﺃ ﻣ ﱠﻜ ﹶﺔ ﹶﻓ ﱃ ٰ ﺩ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹺﺇ ﻋﺎ ﻢ ﺒﺎﻩ ﹸﺛﺘﺟ ﻭﭐ ﺓ ﻮ ﺒﻨﹺﺑﺎﻟ
ﻋﺎﻩ ﺩ ﻦ ﻤ ﻟ ﺓ ﺭ ﻨ ﹶﺬﺍﻭﺍﻟ ﺓ ﺭ ﺸﺎ ﻪ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﹺﺑﺎﹾﻟﹺﺒ ﺘﺳﺎﹶﻟ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﹺﺭ ﻡ ﺪ ﺘ ﹶﻘﻭﺍﻟ ﻴﺔﻘ ﺴﺎﹺﺑ ﺍﻟ ﺲ ﻤ ﹺ ـﺢ ﺍﻟﺸ ﺿ ﻦ ﻣ ﻒ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺸ ﹺﺮﻳ ﻪ ﺍﻟ ﺳ ﺭﹾﺃ ﻋﻠ ٰﻰ ﻥ ﻣﹶﻠ ﹶﻜﺎ ﻭ ﻴﺔﻋﱢﻠ ﺓ ﰲ ﻮ ﺴ ﻦ ﹺﻧ ﻴﺑ ﻲ ﻫ ﻭ
ﻦ ـﻪ ﻣ ﻳﺪ ﻪ ﹶﻟ ﻋ ﺩ ﻭ ﻭﹶﺃ ﺐ ﻫ ﺮﺍ ﻪ ﺍﻟ ﻤﺎ ﹶﻗﺎﹶﻟ ﻭﹺﺑ ﻪ ﺴ ﹶﻔ ﹺﺮ ﹸﻛﱢﻠ ﻚ ﰲ ﺍﻟ ﻟﻯ ﹶﺫٰ ﺭﹶﺃ ﻪ ﻧﺮ ﹸﺓ ﹺﺑﹶﺄ ﺴ
ﻴﻣ ﻫﺎ ﺮ ﺒﺧ ﻭﹶﺃ ﻼﻩ
ﺪ ﹶﺃ ﹶﻇ ﱠ ﹶﻗ
A ccording to the most trusted narrators of the (Islamic) world, when he (Allah
bless him and grant him peace) completed forty years of age Allah sent him as
a bringer of good news and a warner to the worlds, covering them with his mercy
For six complete months he saw clear true dreams Each one coming like the

ـﺎﻭﻣ ﺕ
ﺭﹶﺃ ـﺎﳚ ﹶﺔ ﹺﺑﻤ ﺪ ﺨ ﻟ ﺒﺎ ﹶﻥﻤﺎﻩ ﹶﻓ ﻧﻭ ﺤﻬﺎ ﺑﺓ ﹺﺭ ﺭ ﺠﺎ
ﺘﻚ ﺍﻟ
ﺗ ﹾﻠ ﱃ ﰲ ٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ ﷲُ ﻒﭐ ﻋ ﺿﺎ ﻭ ﻴﺔﺻ
ﻮ ﭐﹾﻟ S he asked him (Allah bless him and grant him peace) to take her pure self in
marriage so that by his perfumed scent she might obtain the scent of īmān
ﺻ ﹶﻄ ﹶﻔﺎﻩ
ﻭﭐ ﻪ ﺮﹺﺑ ﱃ ﹺﺑ ﹸﻘ
ٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ ﷲ
ُ ﻪ ﭐ ﺼ
ﺧ ﺬﻱ ﺔ ﭐﱠﻟ ﻳﺒ ﹺﺮﱃ ﭐﹾﻟ
ٰ ﱃ ﹺﺇ
ٰ ﻌﺎ ﺗ ﷲ
ِ ﺳﻮ ﹸﻝ ﭐ ﺭ ﻪ ﻧ ﹶﺃ: ﺖ
ﻌ ﻤ ﺳ (belief) He then told his uncles what this pure and pious woman had asked him
for And they agreed, for they were pleased by her virtue, her religion, her beauty,
W hen he (Allah bless him and grant him peace) reached twenty-five years of age
he traveled to Buşrā (again, this time) in trade for the young woman,
Khadījah With him was her servant, Maysarah, who served him and looked after his
her wealth, and her lineage—all cherished qualities
