Building Character: Response Reading

Based on Proverbs 3:11-12

Leader: My son, do not hate the Lord's training.

Congregation: God is working on each one of us to build our character

for a special purpose.

Leader: Do not object when He corrects you.

Congregation: Corrections is uncomfortable and reveals things that we

do not like to see.

Leader: The Lord trains those He loves.

Congregation: God loves us very much and desires that we show that
love toward those of whom we are responsible.

Leader: He is like a father who trains the son he is pleased with.”

All: Help us to learn and grow from our life’s experience in order to be
able to teach others and prepare them for Your service.
