Message from the Archbishop of Davao

Greetings of Peace in the Lord!

With a shepherd's joy, I greet and commend all of you as you

hold the 9th Triennial Convention of the National Federation of
Religious Brothers in the Philippines at Mergrande Ocean
Resort and Convention Center, Bago-Aplaya, Davao City on 24-
26 October 2008 with the theme "One Heart, One Nation, One
Mission."

As you reflect and discuss together important and urgent matters concerning the
mission of the religious brothers in the context of the evangelization works of the
Philippine Church and renew your commitment to the same, allow me to suggest that in
everything we do, let us always allow the love of Christ to guide us. As our Good
Shepherd, His Spirit will help us in making right decisions for the benefit of all.

As you hold on together in hope and love and, as disciples of Jesus, continue your
journey of faith into the Third Millennium, I pray that the Good Lord continue to bless
you with every good and perfect gift, and grant success to your endeavors and plans.
